Love the 1930's cars, and this one is a great example how far the auto companies improved their cars in just a few years. Nice interior and paint work, just a great looking car.
As usual, you did a great job with this car, Mr. RamblinAround. Thank you so much for making these videos. Being a purist I have to say for those interested in car restoration, that this car would be so much nicer without the modern fabrics on the interior, modern paint, and modern air cleaner. These combine to make for a car that's out of sync with it's time. It's usually more difficult to keep a car authentic, but the results are so much better. Restorers please take time to learn what is historically correct and follow through. This car would sell for more money if it were redone as original.
This 4 door sedan body style was the cheapest of the line, sold for about US$1000 in 1938. BTW there are two short pieces of chrome trim missing on the A pillars, between the door and the cowl.
Thats a beautyfull car i love to bring a bride to the church in this awsome wonderfull car the last time the bride Was in a beautyfull Packard thanks jeff and Jordan for this wonderfull video they Are just so great it is a pleasure to know you stay safe and strong jeff and Jordan
THE EXTERIOR APPEARS NEAR CORRECT JUST A FEW MISSTEPS .BUT THE UNDER HOOD IS A PURE DISASTER. TO PUT NEW PAINT AND INTERIOR AND NOT DO THE ENGINE BAY IS RIDICULOUS. THEY DID NOT EVEN CLEAN THE BAY. OVER SPRAY EVERYWHERE!! ENGINE ALL RUSTY ! SAD !
Not only are the cars really nice but the prices on them are usually very very reasonable. Very cool car.
My kind of old car for sure. I remember seeing these often as a child running around the streets of Westport Connecticut.
Thanks for taking a look Jim!

It really was a great decade of car design. Thanks for taking a look at it!
A great time period for Chrysler, they were building that model and the Airflow which I like more. Both are totally Art Deco designed. Thanks Jeff
They were definitely designing some beautiful cars at the time. Thanks for watching!
Nice classic Chrysler Thanks Jeff
Thank you for watching!

Thank you, we appreciate you watching!
Great old Chrysler

I am wondering what the original color is. From the firewall I assume, it was not red.
I'd rather have a 2004 Chrysler Concorde LX
Nice....I bet that one was not a cheap car when it was new
I'm sure you're right about that. Thanks for taking a look!

I just got a 37
real gangster of a car. What kind of colors would these come from the factory as? I'd imagine something a lot less exciting than what it has now.
Definitely not any red metallics that's for sure. Thanks for taking a look Murray!
It came in one bronze like metallic color called Chinese Gold
