This is really amazing. Feels like I'm stepping right into Praag or Altdorf from the Warhammer Universe.
I just subscribed, I'm running a Warhammer Fantasy tabletop and the party is just leaving Tilea after having finished the last arc of the campaign there.
We've been in Tilea for about an irl year now so it's been a while, some 30 or so session andnow I can open up the next Arc with this ambience music playing as the party leaves Tilea behind.
Wasn't just this ambience either, I really enjoyed your Bretonnian music and of course the party is heading that way before we go East back to the Empire xD

It's just maritime. Well, I am a child of northern Germany, grew up on the coast. I go to sea myself, only to a limited extent, I am a cook on board a ferry, but this piece of music really touches me. Nostalgia and a sense of adventure. So many images in my head... How to visualize it..? There are so many ways you could make a little video and use your music. Maybe I should do something... but until then:

When I thought of making this channel, the over arching goal at the back of my mind was to inspire and connect people to the real world somehow via fantasy & escapism, as counterintuitive as that may seem. So I love that this brings you back to old memories and to imagine new ones.
It reminds me a lot of the Gothic Game themes, especially the second and jarkendar parts, sounds similar to some of the Two Worlds II themes , i can't put a finger on it which theme the most but this was uploaded just in time for my Old Realms Estalian mercenary playthrough, thanks mate, and can i ask, does the composition have a name? Any compositions that inspired you to create such ambience?
Thanks and I appreciate your curiosity. No name except the title ;) Your question of influence makes me think... can't say I could pin down what the influence in it is, but probably mostly as you say, games. Pillars of Eternity / Dragon Age type games & some MMO soundtracks.
