Chère Madame, je suis sensible à vos mots et c'est avec plaisir que je composerais un sonnet pour vous autour d'un verre d'absinthe au bar de la grand'place d'Arcueil.
In July 2011, the first minute of this song was played by a television station in Tokyo (JOAX-TV, channel 4) during Japan's digital switchover). The song was played on a loop from noon until shortly before midnight, where television stations had to transmit blue information screens regarding the digital switchover on their analog signals.
I found this piece because I had a very weird dream(?), in which two pet rabbits were hopping around my home with this music in the background. then one of the rabbits disappeared and the other one looked around in confusion it was very weird, and now when I listen to this I feel a bit happy and sad at the same time
@@Whatismusic123 3/4 is the time signature, the tempo is how many beats per minute but I don’t know that either lol. I think there’s not really a set tempo because some versions are a lot faster than this.
I love this delightful piece! And this interpretation is really tasteful! Played lightly and delicately, without exaggeration. Thx for posting this little Jewel!

Cher amoureux
Et je cède à tes vœux
Fais de moi ta maîtresse
Loin de nous la sagesse
Plus de tristesse
J’aspire à l’instant précieux
Où nous serons heureux
Je te veux
Je n’ai pas de regrets
Et je n’ai qu’une envie
Près de toi là tout près
Vivre toute ma vie
Que ton corps soit le mien
Que ma lèvre soit tienne
Que ton coeur soit le mien
Et que toute ma chair soit tienne
J’ai compris ta détresse
Cher amoureux
Et je cède à tes vœux
Fais de moi ta maîtresse
Loin de nous la sagesse
Plus de tristesse
J’aspire à l’instant précieux
Où nous serons heureux
Je te veux
Oui je vois dans tes yeux
La divine promesse
Que ton coeur amoureux
Vient chercher ma caresse
Enlacés pour toujours
Brûlant des mêmes flammes
Dans un rêve d’amour
Nous échangerons nos deux âmes
J’ai compris ta détresse
Cher amoureux
Et je cède à tes vœux
Fais de moi ta maîtresse
Loin de nous la sagesse
Plus de tristesse
J’aspire à l’instant précieux

Amazing how a piece of music can make you nostalgic for somewhere you've never been
It was also used by channel 4 (JOAX) in Tokyo during the digital switchover.
We have not been witnesses, the artist knew how to express what he once lived
Yessss, pulling at my heart
It was used in a retro video game called Binary land, of course in a different key.
My wife and I used this for our first dance at our wedding almost 30 years ago

Interesting fact I didn't know.
What a beautiful, nostalgic piece. It transports me to the 1920s and those lovely silent films.
This piece deserve to be more famous

Omg I was just going to say that!
Welcome in the good old Belle Epoque !
Yeah for me to
Found this after reading about in the manhwa “Incidentally Dyed By Spring”
Its a shounen ai and the main protagonist is piano major.
I just read that! It's so sad yet calming and beautiful ❤️
SAME!!!
It's amazing how this song brings beautiful images to mind immediately. I love it! 😊
I love this piece, satie makes such beautiful songs and easy too 🥰

An excellent performance of Erik Satie's Je Te Veux! I enjoyed reading the score while listening.
Satie captured and defined the French “je ne sais quoi”
First time i heard this piece it lifted me up.. ever since one of my favorite classicals..
I feel love listening to this sweet and subtle piano piece
Tellement romantique !!! Merci !!! 💋
I've listened to this a million times. It's fabulous!

Came here after watching the korean drama thirty but seventeen
This, Valse ballet, and fantasie valse are some of the only pieces by Satie that sound tonal
Also sound French AF
I type this on the internet and didn’t even know it was a piano composed. Did you get this on recommendation or something
Reminds me of valse de L'Amour
