People always get so surprised when they hear BTS swear or have more 'adult' lyrics but actually they've been doing this since their debut. Literally their 1st anniversary song 'So 4 More' starts with Namjoon yelling into the mic "it's been a year! It's been a muthafuckin yeeeaar!!" So uhh... that kind of sets the tone that BTS are not playing the same game as other kpop groups and never have been. They don't swear as often in their main BTS albums (though they do still swear), and their lyrics tend to have a more positive uplifting vibe to them, but they've never exactly been censored!

Yeah, you need to check out their solos, especially the rapline ( RM, Suga/Agust D, & J-Hope). They all have a different vibe, which makes them so unique as a group together. J-Hope released a mini solo album a couple month ago called "Hope on the Street" which is 🔥🔥🔥. And, RM has a new album that's due out this Friday 5/24. V dropped a solo song called "Fri(end)s" a couple months ago too. Keep in mind all 7 members are serving in the military right now. So, they did all of this before they enlisted, so that ARMY (their fan base) would have something new every few months while they were away. 💜

Again, he fought hard to get here, he deserves the respect. Still he was born a slave, became a king. Black haired agust D/Suga is his former self, without the glory but obviously matching the emporer in wits/power. Hes the one who can kill the emporer because theyre the same person. He talks about meeting all the goals, all the money, all the heights of fame and wanting to ground himself. So when his famous emporer persona tries to kill his grounded side, he gets the people loyal to him, and it doesnt matter if their low class, so is he, and they save him and allow him to kill the emporer persona and keep himself as he is, just him.
You really need to listen to the cyphers(pt.1-4) by the rap line they're gonna blow you away . And Seven isn't even Jk's best song it's catchy but almost all of his other songs are way better👏

Since you gravitate toward hip-hop rap, BTS's debut work was harder hip-hop, so I recommend dance practice videos of We are Bulletproof pt 2, Boy in Luv, Danger, Dope, NO. All 7 bts members solo projects are of such different genre it's crazy to think they're un the same group.
Yeah, you need to check out their solos, especially the rapline ( RM, Suga/Agust D, & J-Hope). They all have a different vibe, which makes them so unique as a group together. J-Hope released a mini solo album a couple month ago called "Hope on the Street" which is 🔥🔥🔥. And, RM has a new album that's due out this Friday 5/24. V dropped a solo song called "Fri(end)s" a couple months ago too. Keep in mind all 7 members are serving in the military right now. So, they did all of this before they enlisted, so that ARMY (their fan base) would have something new every few months while they were away. 💜

My personal thoughts on the video:
Emporer/King Agust D had every right to brag and do what he wanted, he talks about his accomplishments and he's mad and ready to take the heads of everyone who tries against him. Again, he fought hard to get here, he deserves the respect.
Still he was born a slave, became a king. Black haired agust D/Suga is his former self, without the glory but obviously matching the emporer in wits/power. Hes the one who can kill the emporer because theyre the same person. He talks about meeting all the goals, all the money, all the heights of fame and wanting to ground himself.
So when his famous emporer persona tries to kill his grounded side, he gets the people loyal to him, and it doesnt matter if their low class, so is he, and they save him and allow him to kill the emporer persona and keep himself as he is, just him.
Suga is amazing ...
You really need to listen to the cyphers(pt.1-4) by the rap line they're gonna blow you away . And Seven isn't even Jk's best song it's catchy but almost all of his other songs are way better👏

Personally, I think that is true Agust D "Suga" is a genious. He has written so many songs. "The Last", he talks about his mental issues. Last year, I went to one of his concerts in Chicago "D-Day", you should review some of his concert songs Daechwita & D-day, the whole concert was amazing. Also please react to 'Snooze' it is a "MASTERPIECE" with August D, Woosung (from The Rose) and the piano part written by japanes Ryuichi Sakamoto. I keep saying it, it is a masterpiece.
Daechwita is the music played before the entrance of a king, or other high dignitaries, during the Joseon dynasty. The music in the song at the very beginning, and throughout the song, is a contemporary daechwita. Agust D is Suga's alter ego!
Daechwita is from D-2, Agust D's second mixtape. I suggest you go back to his first mixtape, simply titled Agust D and listen to this self-titled single, Agust D. Suga, and BTS, goes hard on their Korean underground hip-hop rap artists who bullied them, calling them sellouts, crossdressing makeup wearing girls for joining an idol group - BTS. These are the no talent pill poppers putting on 💩 shows! 😂😂😂😂
Haegeum is from his album, D-Day, his third solo work in his trilogy. Haegeum uses the same instruments, as Daechwita, but more contemporary. Haegeum is the name of one of the instruments played; however, the second meaning is the lifting of a ban on things forbidden!!!
Snooze, featuring Ryuichi Sakamoto (pianist & Oscar winning composer) and WooSung of The Rose (Korean rock band) are fabulous in this song. Sakamoto, a mentor of Suga, passed away the winter before the release of D-Day. The fanmade mv by elisssa is truly a work of art and is beautiful.
As for BTS, the rap line - Suga, RM, and JHope - listen to their Cypher pt 1-4. As a group, BTS includes rap lines in all their songs; however their best are very culturally referenced - Ddaeng, Idol, and Anpanman! Also, Mic Drop is pretty hard!!!!! Since you gravitate toward hip-hop rap, BTS's debut work was harder hip-hop, so I recommend dance practice videos of We are Bulletproof pt 2, Boy in Luv, Danger, Dope, NO. Their live performance of Jump is really good and showcases a vocal line singer V rapping! Highly recommend the MV of Fire - OMG, it's literally 🔥!!!!!! Also, the mv On is spectacular!
