If you watch again you might notice the shadows behind Suga & RM that are moving in a frantic or tormented way, representing the dark thoughts expressed in the lyrics. The behind the scenes video shows you how those were created. This video also gave Jimin a chance to show off his contemporary dance skills.
Jimin, the ID in Freudian structure, is the shadow for everyone. Watch the behind the scene videos. They are as incredible as the final work.
Jimin is classically trained in contemporary dance, hence the flexibility. Other good examples of his solo dancing are “Serendipity” (live performance) and his newest from 2023 “Set Me Free Part 2” from his FACE album. That music video is crazy!!

Thanks. Blue haired guy is Jimin. He's one of the two main dancers of BTS (another one is J Hope). BTS rarely use CGI. The dancing shadow behind Suga and in the final one with Jungkook is Jimin. The one behind RM is J Hope.
Yes, you should check out both group and solo works of BTS. They have an impressive and huge discography :)
They are all in the mandatory military service now. Jin the oldest will be out in a few weeks after serving for 18 months. They will all be out by June 2025.

Yes, he’s far from the bad boy! He’s the funny, joker in the group. You need to watch one of the guide to the members. He’s also the one with the insane visual looks at the camera, which I think you noticed already in the Butter and Dynamite videos. He has a rich baritone voice and could sing the phone book and people would melt.
Yowall, blue guy is JIMIN, voted King of Kpop 4 years in a row, Best Dancer even longer. At present Jimin is the most consumed act across digital platforms globally (despite 0 payola) beating BTS, New Jeans and Jungkook. Jungkook is heavily promoted by their company on Spotify, no shade, just facts. Jimin is also the #1 artist on Spotify Daily Korea and hold the record for most days at #1 (over 200).
Based on Swan Lake. White swan ego the person you want to be. Black swan is the ID, that part of you that keeps you from who you want to be. Thanks for your reaction! This is contemporary dancing. Jimin (blue hair) went to school for contemporary dance. Black swan is about losing the passion for music and performing. They say it will be their first death and would be the most painful. Being under pressure can cause people to lose passion for the things that once gave them joy. They say 'do your thing' as people probably tell the perform, make music etc. And then they say 'whats my thing' because they have become lost as they are losing the passion of music and it doesnt seem like their thing anymore. Plus it's all performed on a stage like a ballet. So pretty!

However millions of us have seen them in real life. Black Swan is all about their fear of losing their passion for their art eg Song writing, Composing, Producing, Rapping, Singing, Dancing going up on stage.
It's also ties with with the quote from the famous Dancer Martha Stewart "A Dancer dies twice, once when they stop dancing and this is the most painful of deaths'" The Shadow represents that fear and the members play each other's Shadow which represents those fears and dark thoughts. Yes the large at the end dies down into nothingness the fear is conquered???????
Shadow is part of Jungian Psychology which the Map of Soul Album explore in regards to their own lives. eg Shadow, Persona and Ego. Black Swan is from those Map of Soul albums.

I do think you appreciated this aesthetically as I do, but I think you missed the whole message of the song, without taking time to read the understand the lyrics. Without this, you only have half the story to discuss. I like all their styles and there are many like this, and many not like this song at all. This story is based on dancer Martha Graham quote 'a dancer dies twice,: once when they stop dancing, and this first death is the more painful one" and of course the duality of the ballet Black Swan.
