Tell you, that after overtaking the two tankers. I waited at Mullewa; 73 kms east of here. To take photos of them, And yeah the Volvo wasn't that far behind the Kenworth at all!
Yeah its the speed difference as mentioned, at the bottom of the Greenmount Hill, its from 60kmph, then 70kmph section to 80kmph mostly for both east and westbound with dual carriageway (4lanes). So slowmoving trucks, you can pass them. Heavy oversize is a pain, as you just have to wait patiently behind them. Until they pull over, park up to let backlog trafffic pass by.
I reckon, they should run out from Geraldton as two trucks, and once past the hills, hook up as one road train configuration. Much too slow for following traffic, through the hill climbs and heck of wear and tear factor for sure
Is a challenge at Bringo Hill, ain't that bad at a few other places though. Yeah a real test at Bringo. Perhaps, I reckon a helper truck should be attached on each loaded trip?
In Australia, we drive on the left-hand side of the road like they do in the United Kingdom.
Reason why so many axles/tyres is cause it creates less damage to the roads (believe it or not (load bearing)). Americans been doing this for a few years and now Australia is catching on to it.
@@koorta-boodjor1522 HI, in Colombia and Sudamérica you cannot have such a heavy things because the pavements on the roads are differents from yours. Only a weight of 47 tons can be transported. @@hugosaldarriaga9604 Hi Hugo, thanks for explaining that to me. Yep can understand, the situation with the roads in your country. That GSF fuel tanker is probably 700hp and far heavier, probably close to 150T there, possibly has different gear ratios and lower top speed so might rev harder, need to confirm with the operator.
not sure if that Volvo has enough wheels n tyre`s !
Enough to do this haul.
Beautiful trucks
How many horsepower do they have
Thanks for watching. The Western Star on the WA Fuel Supplies tankers would be around 600 hp? With the Volvo FH16 on the Great Southern Fuels 'Super Tanker' is 700hp.
Aussie trucks are so Kool , they make the class one that I drive in England look shit 🥺🥺🥺🥺🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ lol
Yep, they're built tough for the hauls that they need to do. Least you're not stuck on a factory floor. But out and about!☺
@@koorta-boodjor1522 I suppose, but only being allowed to pull one trailer really does suck lol not even allowed to pull a b-double ? 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🥺 lol
@@rolonof6944 Ah ha. So I see what you are saying. Just a semi trailer license, (known as HC class in Australia) you hoping to upgrade to B-double then?
I wish mate , cannot legally have b-doubles in the UK and mainland Europe ? Pullin one trailer is all your allowed ? Presume it’s because of lack of space ? Was lucky enough to visit Australia in 2005 to 2006 for 6 mths was Kool ?
@@rolonof6944 Yep, thanks. I wasn't aware of that. Yeah the UK and Europe, not much land space compared to other parts of the world. Be a real gimmick promotional marketimg thing, to have a Australian 60m long road train travelling down one of your motorways. Advertising, visit Australia's outback, after Covid bans are lifted! 😀 Glad to hear you have visited Australia. Have a great day!
Driver shortage in the UK …doh! How about either extending the trailers or adding one ? We have 700bhp trucks carrying 20ton ffs!
We have the horsepower, the hills and the massive iron ore super quad side tippers hauling into Port Hedland and Geraldton, here in Western Australia. With loads of 175 / 200 tonnes. As one example for other heavy hauls in Australia. Unable to have the 750 at this stage. They can't handle the hot conditions out on the outback highways, roads and mine haul jobs.

Volvo was catching the KW
Tell you, that after overtaking the two tankers. I waited at Mullewa; 73 kms east of here. To take photos of them, And yeah the Volvo wasn't that far behind the Kenworth at all!
@@koorta-boodjor1522 not sure which one would break down first......

23 axles??? Stick that right up ya klacker! You`d want an offsider just t` change tyres for ya! Pete 379.
Haha, yeah!
What's Bringo Hill like compared to Greenmount out of Perth, on Great Eastern Highway?
I'd say by the speed they coming down it no comparison.
Que bonito!
👍
That cabover looked like it was really struggling.
I reckon, they should run out from Geraldton as two trucks, and once past the hills, hook up as one road train configuration. Much too slow for following traffic, through the hill climbs and heck of wear and tear factor for sure
Yeah the hills around Bringo and Northern Gully are are a challenge, once past there but, it's easier levels and the trucks move along much quicker.
@@CarlosAlberto-rx3rl Sorry I can't translate your language. Thanks for watching
Is a challenge at Bringo Hill, ain't that bad at a few other places though. Yeah a real test at Bringo. Perhaps, I reckon a helper truck should be attached on each loaded trip?
Shit, there’s a few dollars on this road!
Yep, all go up on the Geraldton Mt. Magnet Road. A few dollars of trucks and trailer equipment that's for sure! $$$$$$
Try passing that!!
Awesome !!!
Thanks.
In Australia, we drive on the left-hand side of the road like they do in the United Kingdom.
Best video 👍✌🤟
Thanks for watching.🙂

Goodo.
Reason why so many axles/tyres is cause it creates less damage to the roads (believe it or not (load bearing)).
Americans been doing this for a few years and now Australia is catching on to it.
👍
Hi Hugo, sorry I'm unable to read your comment. I don't know your language. Thanks for watching.
@@koorta-boodjor1522 HI, in Colombia and Sudamérica you cannot have such a heavy things because the pavements on the roads are differents from yours. Only a weight of 47 tons can be transported. The topography of our countries also complicates having such a heavy transport since the country is quite mountainous.
@@hugosaldarriaga9604 Hi Hugo, thanks for explaining that to me. Yep can understand, the situation with the roads in your country. Here in Australia, most times our new highways and major roads, always have to be repaired again and again. Due to the very hot days, melting the bitumen, and roads, crumbling due to not being of good standard, to take the pressure of the trucks travelling on them. Always ongoing maintenance. Which is good, keeps road crews employed.
How do they reverse a rig like that?
A large turning circle most times, or unhook the last trailer, and reverse just two trailers, which is easy for the experienced drivers
Ini sih masih enak jalan di Aspal...
Ditempt kami 3gandeng muatan kayu 150Ton jalan Tanah
Isso aí tem que ter qual habilitação? Hahaha

Wat a speed
Just slow and steady speed.
Just slow and steady speed on the hills.
The slow truck should have its hazard lights on.
Only in the USA.
It is not a requirement on Australian roads.
Anyway, anyone claiming SMIDSY should have their driver's licence revoked.
Hahahaha.
lets fire up the bringo moto X its been a while
How many min HP with that kind of semi? Are they fitted with transfercase?
That Volvo is probably 750 horsepower, 3500Nm of torque.
