  • On this episode we install a Derale oil filter relocation kit, a Derale oil cooler with fan, and change the oil viscosity in our 496 BBC to a more street friendly viscosity.     Same here, even for my HP rebuild small block 1973 Chevy C10 i'm adding thermostat/ vented/coolers /filters for both engine and trans. Regards from the Netherlands.

    Great Video can you tell me where you got your cooling fans and shroud please I have a 496 Stroker we have in 67 Chevelle and don’t have much room for fans but yours look like they will fit? 😎👍

    You had no oil pressure, not good. All the oil in the world is moot without pressure.

    What oil sender is that right before the cooler? I haven't seen an inline sender like that

      On the oil cooler mounted up front I have a oil temp switch (two prong) that turns on the fan for the oil cooler. This switch was from Derale and came with the cooler from what I remember. Thx for the Q.
