  • In this episode, I do some plant room puttsin. I wanted to research why one of my little ficus trees was not percolating well, and some touch-up work on my Tiger Bark Ficus.

That 40 year old ficus with the plant lights behind it looked really great. A light Christmas scene with the light shining through the dense leaf structure at the start of the video. Really cool.

Your tiger bark looks awesome! Great overall shape, the branch structure is well balanced, and you already know that trunk is fantastic.
Glad to see you chasing pruning decisions this year, and not having to fuss about with bugs and humidity so much.

That first ficus is a nice mini type and looks really cool. That is one amazing pot that it is in. Super late last night, so catching up on the rest of this cool video.

Tree 2 ficus has one magnificent trunk on it. An old forest type trunk so to say. Really cool.

Hi Dave. I am new to your videos, But I am
Not new to MN weather. My little green house holding the materials I collected this year has been open almost every day. The maple and oaks and lilac etc are budding out. At least I know that they are alive but what do I do? I live in SE MN

This has been quite the struggle this year with all the warmth. So in my Green House/Frame, I've added some pink insulation to get the high heat to not be so high. Keep everything as low to the ground as you can and more ventilation is always better than not enough. Have you seen the PSGF series on my channel? I"m learning a lot, but nothing's budding out on my end yet. I hope it stays that way.
