- A Grit Guard is a “big net” placed in your wash and/or rinse bucket to separate the grit from your mitt (Disclaimer, tagline by Grit Guard Inc USA).
So, In this video I’ll be showing you how to use the grit guard properly and how it extracts and lock away dirt and grime from your wash medium (Mitt, foam, cloth or brush etc).

Finally the washboard arrived in Malaysia. Great!
Nice, very helpful again...
Great video
They got a new invention it’s called “hose off the car before you wash it”. You don’t get as much dirt in the bucket but it’s easier on the paint
I take a shot every time he says "alright" I don't think I can make it to the end of the video
It took me only 45 seconds of "Alright" shots to knock me out. I cant! Hahaha
😂😂😂😂
Hahahaha funny comment
Replying to this comment from heaven.
I like this version of grit guard :) Brilliant design!
Yea, it's really convenient, credits to the makers of this product, Grit Guard Inc!
Excellent demo
Thanks, glad you liked it!
Great video bro!
awsome video brother.

Nice video ! Can you send me a link to buy those sort of clips that you used for the grid please ?
Do you have a link for the clips?
@@MrZeljko88 Unfortunately not sorry…
@@OxmioZ thanks for the reply.
Amazon link to the clips please?
Wow! I never knew this thank you! Can you use it to wash clothes?
Owh yes! You absolutely need it for your clothes and dishes as well XD
the yellow one is the meguiars grit guard? what difference between this type grit guard and new type chemical guys grit guard? which one will work better?
Hi Huairen Huairen! The yellow grit guard insert and the black washboard in the video are both from the Grit Guard Inc. These guys own the patent to it so if I’m not mistaken Meguairs’ grit guard are most likely made by Grit Guard Inc.
Hmm....... I’m not sure which will work better as we’ve never tried the Chemical Guys ones. Perhaps someone else here would like to share their inputs?
what are the clips where can I get them. Can I use River stones?
Hi DW. Basically the Grit Guard is not a 100% perfect fit to our bucket, it has a little gap that caused it to "move around" when I agitate the mitt on it. So to make it stay firm I added something (in the case clip) to "widen" the Grit Guard so it doesn't "move around". I think you can use river stones around the cross bar fo the grit guard, logically that keeps the Grit Guard firm too.
ALRIGHT!!!😃
Best video bro.
@@rafaeldeleon225 Best comment bro :D
Hi. Where did you get those clips from to get ur gritguard stuck on the bottom and not be able to spin. What are the name of these clips i cant find them anywhere
Hey Smoke Herbb, I used automotive bumper clips to secure the Grit guards. I forgot which car make it’s from but they are generally quite similar looking
You should NEVER wash a car without rinsing it with plain water 1st.
All you are doing is scratching the paint as you rub it
Ben Par 👀 oh really?
You do not understand the purpose of this video. It is not how to wash a car, it is a demonstration of a grit guard
No longer need to use 2 grit guard in a bucket by using this new method then.
What type of clip is that anyway? That you put onto the grit guard so it doesn't move in the bucket.
It's a simple plastic clip, i forgot where we sourced it, but we give it out when you purchase the bucket or the Grit Guard from us. The washboard attachment is more ergonomic then 2x GG. It feels "convenient" to scrub the mitt due to the angle
Guess my GG isn't bought from you guys. I have a total of 3-4 pieces but never had any of the clips. Haha..
How much is the washboard attachment? More expensive than the GG?
You got FB PMed !
@@kokyi Those clips do not exist anywhere.......
I lost my clips long time edi. Got foc replacement? :P
Come to Kepong or remind me before tt la. Kao tim for you bro!

wait, what was the point of taping the the front of the car in half if you weren't going to show a comparison of the paint?
To separate the car in half and show the difference between the washing methods. Would you suggest a better method?
lol, no foam at all?
Can i translate the video into Arabic and share it ?
We would prefer if you could leave the original video as it is and add subtitle on top :)
i will add subtitle only. thanks
Cool! Do share it with us as well ya
Dude I think you need some better shampoo, I’ve seen more suds from fairy liquid!
This guy doesn’t know how to wash a car. Even when I was 12, I knew to rinse and power foam wash the car first, before laying hands in. Also, the 2 bucket method is best. The bucket with the grit guard should be the one for rinsing your wash mitt. Not the other way around. What a newb!
