Thanks Rob!
Great DIY video. Any thoughts about using Food Grade materials. Many comments can be found on the net stating that the orange Home Depot buckets are not Food Grade, plus some more comments about PVC Pipe not being completely Food Safe material.
I Did a few hours of research about this plastics question, I politely refuse to answer. You will have to use your own judgement, Do Your own research and apply that to your situation. remembering of course that if its on the internet it must be true.... Thanks For Watching! T
Do you use pure fertilizer blend meaning blend diluted in half gal for example and pour into plain water in bucket or entire bucket in liquid fertilizer solution? Argh!! Help please. Stay safe and healthy out East.💙
I am using masterblend water soluble fertilizer I use the 12-6-12 formula that is on the label. You can buy a masterblend kit on amazon- link should be in the description- the kit comes in 3 parts (1) masterblend (2) Epson salt aka magnesium sulfate (3) calcium chloride. I put 12 grams of masterblend, 6 grams of Epson salt, 12 grams of calcium chloride into 5 gallons of water and mix well, I then let it sit for 12 hours before I use it... I mix again before it goes into my systems. That’s it. I do not mix concentrates that need additional dilution- too many steps for me, I would screw it up. I hope this helps! Thanks for watching! T
How much did the whole system roughly cost you? I have the tools already.
Hmmm 4 for the bucket, ~2 for each fitting so 48, 10 for pipe 5 for way to many zip ties. $20 for pump, 5 for irrigation fittings 10 for irrigation line... $105 ish ... heavy on the ish. Thanks for watching. T
@@mefford509 Thank you for getting back to me so fast! I'm a college student trying to not break the bank by eating healthy. I am very excited to try this out!
