I’ve told anyone who would listen that Tom is my favorite comedian for about a decade now. But through podcasts like this, you get to realize what an awesome dude he is. Feels like being a fan of his means an endless commitment to bits (especially in a comment section) but I really appreciate how he showed up willing to be super vulnerable and authentic. The work on himself shows, and as someone who grew up with a narcissistic, emotionally out of control parent, who has tried most of his life to not feel things, I really appreciated the reinforcement to stop trying to numb or avoid feelings with this or that. Another great episode Neal.

It makes you not trust people, & you can’t cut off your toxic parent, but FUCK when they turn it on you want to shake them. Such a great episode, Neal does such a great job interviewing. Asks insightful questions then actually lets the guest answer and actively listens to their response, doesn’t just make it about himself which seems simple and obvious yet is an ability so many podcast hosts seem to lack. Tom’s sincerity and vulnerability was refreshing, he’s a genuinely good person.

After this podcast I like Tom segura even more now. It’s wild to hear him actually have human emotions instead of a sounding board for Bert’s craziness. Hope he does more things like this and Neal was terrific. Both talented people that deserve their successes.

These conversations are amazing, I love the structure of these videos. The length of these is just perfect, very tight and concise and the fact that can you get there with guests really helps shed some light on a side of people we rarely get to see.
    Thank you.

I've never felt that I've needed to see something more than this. I'm going to binge this podcast, thank you! Also, coming from a kid with an in-active father, the best thing you can do is just start doing what you do with him and if you can't do that for whatever reason you might need to change some habits! Thanks and be well!

“Blocks” are a real thing. In social work circles or other helping professions there’s a similar concept called “barriers”. Neal is doing such a service with this podcast. It’s great that mental health is more in the conversation nowadays, & it’s great that Neal is riding the wave of culture becoming more enlightened. Vote Neal for Eternal Dictator of the Universe.

This was one of the most exciting and introspective podcasts I've seen in a while. Of course there are tons of "introspective" podcasts but so many of them are cheesy or impractical and romanticize fluffy euphemisms as profound dogma.
