This is the bobby you get when the host treats him like an actual person
Fr. I just feel like so many of his friends are douches but I do absolutely love Bobby 💕
Bobby is the perfect guest for this. He's so depressing & funny.
Love him so much
He is so real and funny..
Came here to say that lol
“But can I just say this”
Neil aint funny tho
I wish I could find a therapist like Neal Brennan.
Neal literally thinks a drug proved god to him…maybe that’s the type of person yr looking for
I can't put my finger on it exactly, but i'm convinced that Bobby is a comedic genius. He's the best.
Natural talent. I couldn't imagine him doing any other job.
i dont know if its genius as most of it is unintentional from being so malajusted. He's actually pretty slow and normal comedy.
nah. he’s on the spectrum of sociopathic psychopathy a.k.a. an endearing asshole.
I think the shallow assessment of Bobby is that he's just a neurotic maniac lacking self control, but upon closer inspection I see a 'severely human' being with an understanding and wisdom re: humor that is illusive but undeniable.
@@noNdeSCRIpt732 100% nailed it + innately manipulative.
Man it’s cool to see Bobby be so real
I still can’t tell the difference 😂
He’s always real!
I agree. He has a different vibe here. It's great.
Even when he's lying thru his teeth, he's being real. Lol that man doesn't know how to not be himself
I was worried he'd be too uncomfortable and not open up. Glad to see him show this side of himself fully
The chemistry of these two is instantly addictive. Well done geniuses.
Always enjoy Neal on TB! Actually, both Neal and Bobby are people that if they’re on a podcast, as a general rule I click
Neil is like the first adult to do a podcast from the comedy world
It's like he's the only one who knows the podcast game and refuses to play because he doesn't need to 😆
Nope, Marc Maron was the first. But I have enjoyed every episode of this podcast that I’ve watched.
@@AfternoonFocus Did the champs podcast will Neal not precede Marc Marons?
@@senna1995 No. And, also, on The Champs, Neal wasn’t being the mature adult that he’s being here.
Not only is he mature he is actually making content beyond just throwing up a microphone and throwing out episodes. Just like Blocks he has a theme, purpose, and is focused. Everyone else, esp in the comedy world, is just pushing out content for the algorithm.
Bobby hurts my stomach from laughing and my heart from his experiences
Touché
Perfect description of Bobby
@@yp8557 if it were a description.
Honestly, that's a great way to convey the genius of Bobby Lee
All of the emotion, realness, and humor of this podcast somehow circling right back to "HE NEEDS TO PAY" is the most hilariously Bobby Lee thing ever. It's so refreshing to see him in different environments. He's a super likable guy.
Bobby Lee is the best podcast guest in the world, absolutely love him. New subscriber...
Check out bad friends.... it's with Bobby Lee and Andrew Santino there great together
@@LocChicago5 bro I was one of the first subscribers to bad friends. I've sent everything bobby has ever done
@@setburhed4987 you watch tiger belly also? My favorite was when Chris DeStefano was last on there after Bobby broke up and Bobby was making fun of him and Chris is like a Bobby check this out and opened up his shirt LOL 😆 Chris DeStefano and Andrew Santino are amazing together when they riff..... but I also like Chris DeStefano with Bobby lee.... and I like Tom segura with Bobby Lee cause Tom is actully a true fan but they shit on each other LOL .....
@@setburhed4987 I don’t like any of those podcasts 😂 I only like the podcasts Bobby does as a guest because the other stuff is just too boring to me. But maybe when I was a kid I’d have liked them. Not saying this in a mean way, it’s just how it is for me. I know I’m the odd one out in this crowd. It’s fine haha
This interview is definitely one of the better ones to me for sure. The way he grow up is so relatable too. My dad threw bricks at me and the last time he attacked me I pinned him against the wall and my moms screaming and then I just let him go and then he never came at me again. But the psychological stuff continued for ages. And I was desperate to die for most of my life. So I know the depth of those dark feelings and that is real pain. When you are living for years and years where you’ve accepted death and are desperate for that but have no way out reliably, it’s extremely painful.
Anyway yea this podcast has lots of interesting stuff.
I came here for Bobby. Staying …
I love seeing this trend of male comedians having therapy with each other. It is cathartic since I grew up where men were told to keep their feelings to themselves and therapy was for p@ssies. This is nice to see, the raw honesty and shameless sharing between two men who chose comedy over tragedy.
Bobby, you're not addicted to "tragedy porn," you just like a good "controlled cry." You set the stage to allow yourself a good cry and a flood of emotion, all on your own terms. It can be healthy.
It’s annoying g how Bobby still recycles the bullshit khalyla tells him about himself
I work in a female dominated industry and I see the power of release that comes with crying - crying allows you to get over things completely in many ways.
As someone who struggles to cry at all, I'm always open to a scheduled good cry over some sappy video
@@rickeykoga2312 My go-to that never fails is the last 8 minutes of the Six Feet Under finale. 😭 I can cry enough to feel cleansed.
Crying is the move
I did this when my grandmother died when I was 17, there wasn't a proper"" place to cry so I ended up crying over some dead kid who died in a car accident, but later I realized it was for my gramma, i can see Bob doing this w his dad possibly
Bobby is the Podcast Wizard. He get everyone’s numbers up
Anything with Bobby Lee I click! 😂 Bobby Lee is one of a kind! One of the most entertaining and hilarious comics!
Bobby feels so different here than on bad friends and stuff man this podcast brings out the humanity in other comics and I love that
WHERE BOBBY LEE GOES WE ALL GO!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 love you Slept King!!!
#WBLGWAG

B prolapsed this
Exactly
I have to say, this pod series with Neal is fantastic, but I'm realllly loving the *ding* and the text in the background when they bring up a new topic
Yes, Bobbie Lee’s pause was technologically perfect
I love how all the comics in Bobby’s circle have their own unique styles and techniques for dealing with him 😂

let's make sure everyone is free by ensuring they have a guaranteed minimum income of $1,500ish USD/month. the Universal Basic Income. 2542
@DrMattDestruction destruction is an apt name. Did the covid checks teach you nothing? Your plan is just a fast track to a $1,500 rent increase. Idiot. Hating your job is fantastic motivation for seeking another one.
@@Mperkins813 but no one should hate their job. or else they're slaves.

less time spent having a job you hate = better life.

UBI without fighting corporate price-gougers is cowardice. You’re just libertarians in disguise lmao
Price-controls are just as important as UBI. Insulin manufacturers arbitrarily hiking prices multifold is just absurd
Neal's presence that allows him to immediately comment on Bobby's pronunciation of "P" and also the frozen moment 53:49 were the funniest parts of this podcast lol. So dry and almost omnipresent. Bless.
What is this like the sixth episode and Neal is already a fuckin amazing interviewer. Doesn't miss a beat, asks deep questions, gives real feedback, and stays respectful and still hilarious through the whole thing. I fuckin love this podcast, can't wait to see the one with Dave.
Have you seen a promo for that bc that's awesome! Tbh I thought Dave was distancing himself from Neil, but thats just fanfic
These 2 should do a podcast once a week. I would watch every one.
Neal is my favorite interviewer of comedians.
No one is doing it better than him right now.
The Honeydew with Ryan Sickler is another great podcast that digs a bit deeper than most comedy pods. I’d love to see Sickler on here!
@@jordanwillett6680 Andrew Santino is top on pods for varying convos
No he isn't Mr. W
@@ghagzor afraid he is mrs lofi
It's such a relief when you get to talk to someone who comes from an adverse childhood and you can just be real about it without having to deal with the other person freaking out about the messed up things you went through. I see that in this interview.
My heart felt very heavy today and these two just gave me back some light. Love you both tremendously. Thank you guys for being vulnerable and honest yet still so damn funny.
Oh man this is gonna be awesome. You are gonna be able to build a house with all the blocks. This should be a 4 hour podcast.
The story at the end about Jim Breuer is incredible. What makes it even better is that Neil and Bobby had completely different views on it
This is quickly becoming my favorite podcast
Mmmhmmm
White here!!😊
Bobby is so relatable to so many of us. He’s truly put a smile on my face when I’ve been at some of my own lowest moments. Great podcast Neil, thank you!
Neal will quickly become dad of podcasts. I love it.
“Let’s do the logo”
Wow this is a deep conversation. Was not expecting so much depth from Bobby “The Slept King” Lee
One thing I love about Bobby Lee(besides being hilarious) is that when he is serious, he always seems to say something that hits home with me personally. I think his openness adds to his likability and makes his comedic talents stand out. Great episode. I love this podcast, Neal.
Bro I need micro slight acknowledgment conversation in my life. 😂 I'm literally filled with discomfort because I feel like I'm the deep moody guy who thinks or reads into things too much yet I love noticing the tiny details and I enjoy conversations with people who allow me to express that and who also get it or are understanding of it.
I genuinely love bobby being a guest on other poddys
I’ve always loved Bobby Lee, since MADtv days, I’ve watched so many bad friends episodes, but this is by far my favourite podcast with Bobby Lee. He’s so real, super vulnerable (my heart goes out to him) and effortlessly hilarious. I love you Bobby.
Bobby is the perfect guest for this show. Him and Neal are awesome together
I would watch a Neal and Bobby pod, they have the synergy.
Also I love that from Episode 1 he's had like 5 really nice camera's on his set, so every episode will look crystal clear and high production. This guy... I think he knows what he's doin'.
Wow... so three things that I knew about myself but thought were unique to me somehow tragedy binging, dream realization binging, revenge/prevenge.... Bobby's not the only one who came outta this with new material for the therapist!!!
This was an amazing podcast. I didn't think I could learn anything new about these two , especially Bobby I thought I heard it all about his childhood . They were both great on this episode and they have great chemistry together
That glass molding of a human head with flowers where the brain would be is beautiful symbolism. Also, you should always let go of resentment, as Neil said, it just fills you up with bile and uses energy you could have you'd to progress yourself.
Great pod.
God bless.
6:46 I love how Bobby's dads sound effects have an accent
this is definitely the best Blocks podcast episode so far, loved the ending lmao
What a great combination of souls. When they started admitting deeper truths and then consoling each other... I could sense their two inner children reaching out a hand to each other
Bobby is so underappreciated. Glad Neal treated him with respect.
Yep, now is the time to go back and watch every blocks episode this was a masterpiece
Man as a long time fan it is so great seeing Neal out here thriving. This podcast is money and it's unlike any other of the gazillion gd podcasts out there.
Please keep it coming! Im still gun shy from the abrupt abandonment from ‘How Neal Feel’ … (cue the Beatles ‘Don’t Let Me Down)
didn't you hear? he's a better podcaster noe
Bobby brings up a good point, just because somebody forgot the mean thing they did doesn't mean you should too.
I watched the 1st podcast "How Neal Feel" I liked it. I love this one. You've knocked it out of the park with every guest so far. Congrats
BUT did you listen to “The Champs”. Legendary short lived hip hop based podcast by Neal Brennan and Moshe Kasher. Give it a go
This is my new favourite podcast. Killer guests every episode - love it!
Absolutely loved it. Again, Bobby remains undefeated. Best podcast guest of all time. Always entertaining, interesting and completely hilarious.
Finally, got to really hear Bobby be real, and like him more for it. Love this pod!
You can really telly Bobby has his guard down with this guy and respects him
this is the "two comedians talking" padcast innovation that I've be waiting for. bravo. please don't stop.
I've been waiting for this one. 2 of my faves. Weavers of vulnerability and funnies. Let's go!
Neal's old podcast called The Champs is possibly best of all time. Episode with Bobby is maybe top 5 ever. Go find it.
Thanks I will.
IL be looking for it after this is it on you tube
It's so old, it's a pre-YT podcast era. White comedy hosts only had black guests, except for Bobby and a couple others. I LOLed hard in public maaaaany times.
NEAL!!! STOP DROPPING MY NAME!!!
Let’s goooo Bobby reee !!!!
Fast becoming a favourite in the podcast world. Substance and a great interviewer in Neal.
I love how Neil is the comedic whisperer… he knows everything and I love seeing his interactions with peers.
Thank you sir
It’s all integrated
I'm sooooooooooooo happy he finally got rid of that parasite
You guys would do well in a buddy movie together. Your combined writing abilities 🤌
Bobby isn't a writer. But definitely a good 'ideas' guy lol.
That was hilarious. Neal feels bad for keeping a grudge against Jim Bruer. Bobby: Get your revenge.
bobby makes every podcast he's on look good.
The dynamic between these 2 is really fun. I loved this ep
Anything with Bobby Lee I’ll watch!!
This was so good. I love Bobby Lee so much
my broken brain needed these two together
Might be one of my favorite podcast episodes of all time. You two are interesting together, and I love getting the real sides of comics instead of bits all the time. this concept is really great

Bobby ended the podcast with the same energy as his shows lol. I love it.
I’d been waiting for this episode and it did not disappoint.
the best new pod around!
Simply amazing. Must see TV.
Man Neil I really like this podcast! I loved your special and I really like that you have modeled this podcast after the idea of it! I've been been binge-watching all the episodes, great job man! Can't wait to see more!
The one I been waiting for!!!!!
I love the editing so much. This conversation was so good.
It's great to see them both vibe together!
I am excited for this
Incredible podcast definitely worth a watch
Best outro music ever.
The comparison to R.Crumb is so spot on and insanely ridiculous coming from Bobby, I love it.
This is a FUCKING GREAT podcast! Not just funny but really deep conversations. I love it already!
Loving this episode, and the concept is fantastic here. Love it. Will share it, we're not alone. 👍✌️
The only podcast I wait for every week
Loved everything about this episode 😂👏🏼
These 2 are so good together. This was hilarious, depressing, real and I loved it.
What a great podcast episode. Instantly subscribed and wanted to set notifications to all based on this one episode 15mins in. Super insightful. Bobby is really turning into deep thinker somehow lol. Neal, great interviewer and love how empathetic you are. You're a good dude.
Amazing episode - I love Bobby , and now you Neal ! Subscribed !
I'm so glad this podcast is a thing. Thank you Neal Brennan.
I feel for Bobby about the golf club incident. I thought hitting my abusive step dad with a baseball bat would solve my problems, it just created more unanswered questions and resentment. As a grown married man I replay this incident everytime I see my step dad, it doesn't make me feel good about myself because i stooped to his level of violence.
Awesome episode. Love Bobby, and Neal brought out a really good side of him. Great podcast and I look forward to every drop.
That was great! Thank you Bobby and Neal
One word: Brilliant!!
it is clear now that Bobby's reaction to complements is the same that happens when he is crushing on stage, he is uncomfortable and has to break that state of energy, I relate. These guys are great, love them, love the shows.
especially at 16:07 when neal says "congratulations" on his sobriety and Bobby says "yea whatever" and then corrects himself
Good stuff Neal, keep it goin. Bobby was a great guest.
Wow this 1 n Andrew's has been the best ones! Thank you Neal much love!
💥this was a tremendously edifying post 👍🏾 TY, both 🙋🏾♀️
Blee!!! Listening to this asap. He’s my fave
Bobby is one of the best at making u feel better about bad stuff
Bobby really is the best guest. His stories about his dad are the funniest thing ever
This was great. Surprisingly cathartic. Bobby's a great guest, too. Just subbed.
MAYBE the best ending to a podcast in the history of podcasts.
"THANK YOU."
-staring- *looks over*
"Maybe we do the logo?"
and... GOLD.
The logo statement killed me 😂
