Please invite Bo Burnham! You’re one of the few podcast host who would have a perfect synergy. Your comedic geniuses, your self awareness and perceptions about the world as it is would align so brilliantly. You’re both my monuments in comedy. Thank you for your content, I hope you’re satisfied with your podcast because I sure am. (sorry for mistakes, English is my second language, I’m also Canadian so that explains why I feel sorry, I guess…)
definitely. And I love the juxtaposition with the planned structural blocks vs bullshit that just pops up. Schulz's episode was a letdown because they were all a little random.
Omg. Coming from a woman. Chris is 10000% correct about insecurities of men. I’ve never ever heard another man admit this!!! Way to have insight Chris! Agree in women just as bad!
Neal, I keep saying this but I really enjoy the show! The little things like at the 11 minute mark when you pop up that graph showing mosquito deaths are so great lol.
When New Yorkers tell stories, they always mention the location ("between 5th and 8th") non-chalantly like EVERYONE would and should know where that is 😂
It’s funny you mention that. My moms family are all from NYC & they refer to peoples homes by the address number. Like instead of saying I’m going over to see Nanny & Pop pop they would say I’m stopping by 470. Weird I know
As a child of divorce he describes the exact issues I still face today. Catastophic thinking that my loved ones will vanish randomly. If my wife or kids dont pick up I assume something terrible had happend.
I’ve been a Chrissy fan since guy code. The growth I’ve seen in this episode is SO INSPIRING!! no joke, I’ve learned about myself from watching Chris. Thanks babe
36:00 I've literally never heard of someone meditating with their child, even from devout spiritual people, practitioners, etc. Chris is a wonderful father.❤
100%, this was hard to listen to because it was so obvious what was going on and he'd just talk endlessly, maybe to control the situation, idk. This guys psychology is one hell of a mess, and it didn't seem like he's getting any help.
That triple bottle zoom was hilarious. I thinks that’s the best one I’ve seen. A zoom shot is like the comedy straight man but it’s hacky when not done right.
I’ll say as a father of 2 bc Chris sees he need to work on himself as a man and a dad he’s doing a great job! It’s a nonstop cycle of never thinking you’re enough and hoping you’re doing a good enough job! All parents struggle with this!
The insecurity talk at around 10:30 sounds like something Chrissy regrets he did in his past that he now fears for his daughters. He doesn't want his daughters to meet a young him pretty much
That he did or saw his friends doing ie being disrespectful or rude to a woman to look cool in front of the friends. Good news /bad news: by the time his baby daughter is dating, there won’t be guys and girls anymore it’ll all be non-binary
What Neil and Chris are saying about Catholicism and religion in general are what I’ve been saying about it since I was 7 but never had anybody that completely related to me about that. This podcast was great. Also, birthdays ARE fucking stupid and I feel how Chris felt about his weight at 27, now being 28 instead of 37 like him lol. My favorite podcast I’ve seen in a while.
Really like this series. Would it be possible to add one solid minute at the opening of the guests act? Some of these comics I’ve never seen and the contrast between the stage act and the real person would add to your show.
Easy, the not wanting to be alone and the quiet thing are all about chaos. New York is a place where you literally cant be alone because you are constantly surrounded by people and noise and visual stimulus and a million other other things. That constant stimulus loop becomes addicting (and if Im not mistaken Chris has spoken about addiction issues in the past) and something you expect and something you need, and in the case of New York, theres nothing like it anywhere else so that yearning for it makes complete sense. Its like people who cant sleep without a white noise machine or music playing or whatever it is, they just need that thing there taking up space to make them feel connected to something.
Never have I felt more connected to Chris... Thank you for helping me feel less lonely today.
Same man same
Gaaaaay
for sure. 100% right
This is proving to be one of the best podcast premises/execution of looking into these really useful topics. Thanks Neal.
yup. _100%_ true

The ending of this podcast episode was perfection.
Atta-girl/boys…. Because we’re all doing the best we can.
These episodes go by so fast, I wish they were 3 hours longer. The Dave one better be a marathon.
Dave won’t do it
He hates money. All these Hollywood types think 1 hour is enough.
@@AarononRUclips dude, what the fuck does that even mean?
@@Ottophil 100% won’t lol
@@AarononRUclips You mean they’re too busy to spend 3 hours on one of the least lucrative parts of their career?
The subtle editing of this podcast makes it even better. When Neil says “stabbing” it zooms on his clenched fist 😂
Brennan’s insights make him one of my favorite writers.
The pop ups during this podcast add so much value. The 'insecurity in men' vs. 'mosquitoes' is just one example. So many giggles from my face.
definitely. And I love the juxtaposition with the planned structural blocks vs bullshit that just pops up.
Schulz's episode was a letdown because they were all a little random.
“Doesn’t know who he is…” “95% German”
20 - Insecurities in men
10 - Mosquitoes
The pop ups are like another character need them forever
that's right. _100%_ right dude
this one is SO GOOD. i love that this podcast makes me see these people in a different way. neal remains the GOAT.
(check out you made it weird with pete holmes)
Neal's hair is so great! half new order half new edition. crushing!
Listing to you and your guests, making feel great sbout my life 😂😂😂😂 great shows
I love chrissys new glasses. He looks very dahmer… but in a hot way.
Chrissy Podcast is at it again!
Guy's got great energy, easy to like.
Incredible episode. Thank you for making this series!
Blow's my mind that this comedy genius doesn't have a million subscribers
We need recordings of these lessons he’s giving to his kids ❤❤❤❤love this guy!!
The half head shave is definitely a vibe 10/10
Omg. Coming from a woman. Chris is 10000% correct about insecurities of men. I’ve never ever heard another man admit this!!! Way to have insight Chris! Agree in women just as bad!
then you should probably find other men to be around because what he said isn't some sort of brand new epiphany.
CHRIS YOUR GLASSES ARE ABSOLUTELY HIDEOUS BUT YOURE A GORGEOUS WOMAN WITHOUT A DOUBT ILY
Neal, I keep saying this but I really enjoy the show! The little things like at the 11 minute mark when you pop up that graph showing mosquito deaths are so great lol.
Watch out Neal, Chris is running this show...this is the multiverse of blocks.
Neil great special. Chissy podcasts is on all the casts I watch this week. Holy shit this one should be a good one.
this podcast is now my favorite thing on Thursdays!!
Needed something for the lack of Flagrant Thursdays
Chris is my favorite
Love how different this pod is. Gives me peace getting confirmation all of these people have miserable moments too
Excellent episode! #Fantastic #Excellent
It's Chrissy Chaos week! Thank the Lordt
Chris is so god damn funny. First saw him on a YMH Live show and have been a big fan ever since. Love seeing him grow and prosper in comedy!
Lord! Chris makes Taylor look like the most normal person in the world. Love them both!
And she was with Sam Morril
"Heaven is a Home. Home is Anywhere." - Being Dead from their song Daydream❤
When New Yorkers tell stories, they always mention the location ("between 5th and 8th") non-chalantly like EVERYONE would and should know where that is 😂
So true 😂😂😂
It’s funny you mention that. My moms family are all from NYC & they refer to peoples homes by the address number. Like instead of saying I’m going over to see Nanny & Pop pop they would say I’m stopping by 470. Weird I know
100% to Neil's point - sunset increases anxiety in anxious people because nighttime makes the brain "party" even harder. It's SO fun.
Winter to Spring and summer to fall transitions too for some reason. Fall to winter is generally fine?? 😂
I really love this series.
Chrissy's most important block is calling tupperwares "Tubberwares"
I absolutely love this episode!
Just ordered some Magic Spoon. Thanks Neal!
As a child of divorce he describes the exact issues I still face today. Catastophic thinking that my loved ones will vanish randomly. If my wife or kids dont pick up I assume something terrible had happend.

Chrissy ❤❤❤❤
Neal nailed it. Chris is one of the most insecure people I have ever seen after watching tons of hours of him, and he's projecting.
100%, this was hard to listen to because it was so obvious what was going on and he'd just talk endlessly, maybe to control the situation, idk. This guys psychology is one hell of a mess, and it didn't seem like he's getting any help.
This guys 💯 correct about insecure men. It’s why woke is here en masse
Love Crissy Chaos! I'd love to see a Blocks with David Cross!
The bell with "95% German" got me real good
Love your podcast, man!!!
That smile at the end is everything! Thanks gents!
That triple bottle zoom was hilarious.
I thinks that’s the best one I’ve seen.

Oh that "pronounce your R's" hit me so hard😂🤣
Tip top ending and outro shot. Atta boys.
I love how you're doing the sponsorship commercials at the airport 😂
My new favorite pod
Therapy is not the answer but it is where you find the answer.
SO entertaining thank you chrissy D for being so vulnerable n thank you neal for feelin so insightful
The popups are a great bonus 😂
Chrissy Self Awareness is the best guest ever.
best part so far is the zoom in of the kombucha and Neals nursing of it
Shout out to the graphics team! They were put through their paces in this ep.
This is so good! I love seeing Chris work on himself and then enjoy the fruits of that labor. It’s refreshing to see some neurosis pay off (:
love the editing in this pod
"I feel comfort in the chaos" is incredibly true.
This one was great!
shout out to your editor, nice work
Wow chris made me realize realize so much stuff i can relate to
I love these blocks.
C'était vraiment très intéressant 👍
Next level honesty here from CD. Respect!

Shouts out to Neal for drinking that passion fruit tangerine kombucha. Love that stuff

"Gaslighty Weather" lol. I hate the sun and the term "gaslight" but I love this phrase.
"atta boy bert" might have just saved my life. onward
I love this show. Please interview me Neal
Chrissy has more blocks than the great wall of china....this will be interesting
Therapist: Sir, can you state the nature of your issue?
Chris: 95% German
That's the best one yet Neal!
Neal is the real deal
Seal seal seal
Tying it all up neatly with Burt Reynolds was perfect.
Besides Bobby Lee, I can’t think of a better guest for a show like this lol
Chris is my favorite Yankee!
Haha, the editing on this was so perfect
Would love to see the man who suggested the podcast on here. Jimmy Car is fucking hilarious and very interesting when talking about serious stuff.
Dang, that was way too short. Love both you guys
I'd watch a part II
Shout out Fung Wah Chinatown bus to Boston. I took that and forth to college back in the day. 😅
The Rick glassmanesque vibes are fire

Chrissy has been a favorite of mine since the Guy Code days, good kid🤌🤌🤌
I love you both❤
Chris gives nods & love to his father with the unprescribed glasses :)
Neil saying “putting up numbers” made LOL way too hard 😂
Yessss! Not a dweeb finally ❤️❤️❤️
#AnxietyTuesdays #ParallelThinking #NealBrennanIsObviouslyFunnierThanKevin
@50:40 "...at the very least, I always make sure my hotel is walking distance from a henna studio". My man.😎
Chris is one of the realest dudes in the comic scene
Not gonna lie, I’m using that attaboy mantra IMMEDIATELY
Attaboy Burt!
It looks like Neal salvaged the backdrop from the YMH studio dumpster. 😄
Really related to this one
I was not a fan of Chris but this was the best Blocks yet.
Great podcast. Any idea when Electric Guest will release the theme song?
