As of 12/12/24, i managed to get the boombox 3 normal for $259 off of the Harman audio website. There was already $100 of it , so $400, but i added my 35% coupon coupon to it, and it brought it down to $259 with no taxes. The wife $680 hell nah aint worth it for like 5 to 10% at most in improvement. I used to be an audio file, so i have experience with music. I was into iems, and if you are talking about almost $200 dollar difference, then there's supposed to be far greater preference margins than what im seeing in the video. I mean, it's a rip-off if all you're getting is 20 more watts off power with slightly more crispeness. The price tag is increased by 36%, so why not the performance. If the performance was increased by 36%, then yes, it would be worth it. Plus, i here that theres a lot of Bluetooth connectivity issues with the wifi model. It's not a little money increase like the video says. it's a whole $180 or 36% price increase you could get a s Charge 5 speaker and get a greater performance boost.
if you plug in the Aux cable, you are getting the same sound quality as with the wifi, pretty much, as long as the DAC , audio chip on your phone is good...
Can you use the wifi boom also with bleutooth streaming with your phone with your own list of tracks, can you take it with you everywhery or is wifi needed?
@@ArchiezVidzso both speakers is 100% the exact same ? Like the -sound quality -bass -battery life -IPX rating other things?? Cuz Im really hawking down on JBL website and Amazon and other places to choose which boombox i really want to purchase but im still heavily struggling which one should i get for ultimate music performance
No they're not the same. Read specifications of each other! And definitely the Wi-Fi version is upgraded for delivering a deeper base and clearer high frequencies!!!👍
@@ShadowSpace56z it really depends on what youll be using them for. Since I'm a DJ, I chose the standard Boombox 3, since it has the aux input (idk why JBL decided to ditch the aux on the Wifi edition). But if you won't be using your speaker for stuff that requires near zero latency, then you should definitely get the Wifi editon.
Bought a regular 3 and this isn't big enough of an upgrade. I hope the boombox 4 has all the good features and the option to be used with mics/gutairs

To me ain't differences in sound quality in music. I guess the wifi version play movies with better quality with Dolby Atmos.

Can I connect two JBL boombox speakers to one phone at the same time?
Is Dolby Atmos compatible with the Boombox 3 WI-FI when you’re using Bluetooth connection
The wifi certainly sounds better, much clearer. That's what I'll be getting. Thanks
