they should really make more rides where a music is part of the enjoyment of the ride, i feel like this ride is so much more fun because of the sound tracks
Have you ever heard Pirate's "Yo-Ho" or Haunted Mansion's "Grim Grinning Ghosts"?. I hope that real world music sticks strictly to GOTG and doesnt spill over any other aspscts of the parks.

@@itswhatitis277 I assume you mean mainstream music because it's all real-world music, rather it's mainstream or proprietary. In this case, music is a supporting character since quill is best known for his walkman given to him by his mother.

Looks like a modified version of Space Mountain. It's amazing how technology is progressing, also there's nothing like flying down a rollercoaster track with September playing in the background, the song alone makes it all worthwhile.

Just from hearing the riders alone, this ride looks very fun. Glad to see that Disney has pulled off another awesome attraction.
The POV videos are nowhere close to how insane it is in person. It's indescribable.
You want a ride like this don't come to E.P.C.O.T. go to Islands of Adventure Instead and leave E.P.C.O.T to the science geeks like me.

@@mapgar1479 I know what you mean but the Epcot you thought was before is definitely changing directions. Their main goal is to bring more people into that park, and doing that is by adding more rides and "exciting" things like with Moana and Wreak it Ralph. Epcot is now really a mix of a bunch of things It's crazy 😅
While it barely shows the screens, this is definitely the best POV I've seen in terms of track visibility. Looks like a solid ride that should appeal to almost everyone.
I went on it today, it’s definitely more intense than it looks! It goes up to about 50 mph and feels wayyy faster. However, Im not the biggest extreme rollercoaster person and I loved this! It also has some SERIOUS G-Forces

This POV does not do justice to how amazing this ride is. I'm a huge rollercoaster nerd and this is easily the most fun rollercoaster I've ever been on!

September is by far the BEST song on this ride!!! I had tears streaming down my face the first time I rode it because of how happy I was…and the backwards launch paired with the opening of the song is just so perfect! Got in the virtual queue in the afternoon after riding on a lightning lane pass in the morning because of how darn GOOD it was

You cannot just watch this ride. You have to experience it. It’s just so fun. Not so fast and doesn’t toss you around. It just feels good to ride and experience it. So so good.
That’s one of the reasons why I can’t ride Space Mountain 😅

@@savedbygrace.slowedreverb it means you haven’t been on a fast roller coaster before then. Cosmic is only fast-ish during the launches but coasts a lot. After you’ve been on 90+mph rides the ~60 are really tame.
The brass kicking in with September is what makes this my number one song for this ride, and I haven't even been on it before lol
The serotonin boost I got from hearing September, the visuals and just the general fun of this ride is so amazing! every roller coaster and guardians fan has to go on this ride!!!
i got September my very first time and it felt like being aggressively spun on a dance floor. absolutely amazing.
I got Conga which gave the same feeling but a little faster, but this song is also perfect for the ride hopefully i get it if i go back in the future!
I got The Conga and Everybody Wants to Rule the World. I definitely preferred conga just because of the faster beat.
I got September for my first ride too!
On my first time, I got everyone wants to rule the world as my song and I cried on that ride, the music complemented the ride so well. I highly suggest watching the ride with that song in the background

I am convinced that out of the six possible songs for this ride, "September" is the best one that you can get. It played when I rode the ride for the first time and it added so much to the experience.

That’s pretty much what I thought.
It’s a lot faster than the video shows. There is so much going on during the ride with the music, lights and visuals. It is also the smoothest coaster I have ever been on. It’s my new favorite ride, anywhere.
This looks like a solid ride. Great upgrade to the Space Mountain indoor coaster. Love the spinning, reverse launch... all add to it. It just looks fun.

I went on it 2 weeks ago and they didn’t play it they played a different song so idk if they change the song every day

I've been on it about five times now, it's fantastic! I'm not a fan of intense coasters, most intense I'll go is probably Expedition Everest, but this ride is easily one of my favorites in WDW now.
This ride had more sustained intensity then Everest but the backwards helix on Everest is way more intense then anything else at Disney world and it’s not close
@@HobbyHell42 The point was not to compare the intensity to Everest, it was to make a point of how little I go on rollercoasters and how much I avoid them. I probably could have made it clearer.

@@HobbyHell42 The first time i rode Everest and i was questioning if we just went upside down or not when we on the helix, also I think my intensities went into my brain in that part too, plus i could barely move from the Gs. It was really fun. Lol
Of all the songs I’ve seen so far, September looks like the most fun, and just fits the comedy and timing of the ride. I wasn’t even interested in getting on this until this video.

I just got on this ride today bc My grandma works there and she was allowed to bring us but Omfg that ride is amazing I was not expecting any of it but I loved it and wanna go again for sure
Words cannot describe how much I genuinely love this ride. I did not expect a Disney coaster to make my top 15 considering Disney is obviously better known for family attractions than thrilling ones. But this ride is just so exhilarating with the spinning aspect and the theming throughout the ride that it submerged me in the amazing experience. I also loved the ride soundtrack, it made it so much more fun than it already was. Also, this is quite literally the smoothest coaster I have ever ridden, or at least that’s the case for now and hopefully years to come. I will go out on a limb and say this coaster has made my top 15 overall, and I’ve ridden 127 different coasters throughout several states in the US. I’m beyond glad to see that Epcot’s first roller coaster is Disney’s best one!
Whenever you're able to have September the ride is always better because you are enjoying a really awesome song while riding a thrilling/exciting ride
You can put September in any ride and it will fit perfectly

I’m guessing it works the same way as shuffle mode on a digital playlist like on Apple Music.
there are only so many trains, each has a certain song set to it, so i think there are 12 or 18 trains total
Someone (Molly from allears) rode it at the media event 10 times and got all 6 songs...

This is 1) The Best Ride In Epcot, 2) The Best Ride In all of Disney World, and 3) The Best Ride I've ever been on. I think all the songs are really good and fitting for the ride, but September is easily the best, there's just nothing like hitting the backwards launch and the first turn to the opening of September. Just got back from Disney World but already planning to go back and ride this banger again.

This pov is incredible ! It makes me wonder, is everything that visible on the ride, or is it darker and you can't really see the tracks and borders of the screens?
It’s darker in person. With these POVs I was trying to show the ride system which I think helps with trying to follow on a video.
As a person who can't do really intense high dive coasters I REALLY appreciate when people try and get the track system
lol. I need a good way to explain this ride. It’s not high intensity but I can’t think of how to explain the cars spinning. It’s definitely not like the teacups.

My brother Jeremy and I sang along the first time we’re on that ride
It was so fun! Wish I could ride it forever. The music was upbeat and made me happy! It was supper smooth to, and it’s definitely either my favorite or top 3. I love it so much would go back just to ride it once.
Seeing different versions of the POV and reading the comments, I can say that most of the people are really excited when the song September plays on the ride!
I got to go on this ride twice the other day during my disney trip, this ride was so crazy I don't even remember the characters speaking or a handful of the visuals. This ride was awesome! I got the the song Conga and Everybody wants to rule the world, an incredible experience.
The thing I love about these Guardians of the Galaxy Rides, is the music!!!! I love they keep with that theme whilst the funny dialogue is going on amongst the chaos that is the screams of people on the ride... Just so cool! 😎

@@bluemanwelder Maybe better than Hulk, but certainly not better than Velocicoaster. The Hulk is a good thrill ride but not the craziest think out there. There are other coasters in Florida, mainly at Bush Gardens, that are probably better

Funfact: When the coaster climbs up the chain lift before launching backwards, there's a guitar riff that plays *Universe of Energy* which is now a defunct ride and has been replaced where Cosmic Rewind sits now

The cars individually spin 360 during the coaster high speed parts - add dope music and some tripped out (byo edibles) visuals - absolutely brilliant!
Do they spin fast? Like if you have issues with spinning rides (teacups, tilt a whirl type) will you have problems on this?
@@Sunny-xc9kv From other videos of the ride vehicle I’ve seen, the spinning isn’t fast like tea cups. And they might spin 360 but not always, it’s more like Haunted Mansion where it turns for you to see certain things as it’s moving, perhaps a bit faster.

As long as it doesn't do any loops I think this ride is pretty fun.

THAT RIDE WAS AWESOME
This ride definitely feels really immersive. The way you go through the jump points, the way you feel like you're going to get grabbed by the Celestial or whatever it is at the beginning, the music playing while you zoom past what seems to be the Milky Way after a jump point opens out of nowhere, it all feels so realistic, like you're living in an episode of a GoTG spinoff series.
And I love it. I'd ride this coaster 100 times if I had the chance. Without getting too dizzy, of course.

Oh yeah the music when you go through the jump point at the very start of the ride is so epic I wish it lasted longer or they released it as an official soundtrack.

As a child of the seventies, I have a feeling of sadness, given the fun and allure this attraction offers should have been integrated into Space Mountain - years ago.

The first time I went on this ride, I got off it shaking of excitement. The music is really what attracts people to the rides. 100% the best ride at the park💯
One of the best coasters I've been on ina while. First time I've felt queasy ina long time coming off a ride. You're going in so many differnet directions, your car is spinning while you're going around on the track. It's just mind blowing. And yes, it is like Space Mountain on crack! lol
The first ride we went on , the guy in front of use rushed to the trash can and puked when he got off. If you get motion sick I do recommend you take meds cause it will get you sick.

In my opinion I think this fits the ride the most because idk but when I went with my cousins on the ride they hate roller coasters I love roller coasters but never a fan of rides I can’t see in the dark but when the stars and the music came on I knew this is my favorite ride at disney

I went on this last week and it was INCREDIBLE like, the ride POVs are cool but don't do it justice. My fiance and I freaked out because we got Everybody Wants to Rule the World and that was literally the song we were listening to on the way over to the park. 😂

Went on this couple of days back. It blows your mind - with Gloria Estefans Conga blasting your ear drums on our particular ride. Hoping to visit again and grab another virtual ride slot before we head home. Incredible ride that has you buzzing for hours. Possibly Disney’s best ride - and I love RoTR a lot. But Guardians just makes you smile for ear to ear. Also has you wobbling off the ride 🤣
