4l60e is okay. found they like to tear themselves up. I put a 4l80e Trans separated by a custom bell housing on my ls3. I can pull 7000lbs with it up a 14% climb at 2000rpm. 1996 yukon

I also have a 4l60e in my camaro with a shift kit and trans cooler with a stock ls1 cam and 4lbs of boost holding up so far
Old comment I know, but I run a modified 4l60e behind a big turbo 6BT and it's great. I wouldnt use a stock 4l60e tho
