Test drove today ..man the bike is so good , especially man the lower revs ,didn't even felt a slight jerk while at gear 4 at speed 20 over a patch of bad road and a speed breaker.however the scrambler is totally for tall people..my friend who bought a Himalayan 450 recently also rode it ,he was so impressed.And also jeez 2nd servicing at 16k km

Its not the best option for Road use , its also not the best for offroading and cross country stuff. But it does "Scrambling" exceptionally well, and most definitely has the OG Scrambler DNA (with a hint of modern styling). No doubt Triumph makes the best Scramblers that look good and perform smoothly. 400X is no exception! *Proud Owner*🙂

@@ghost117ride it is the only concern The spectrum of economy on triumph is big In city due to tuning it returns very low mileage near about 24 or 25 reason the engines low end response. Out on the highway holding a stable 80kmph you can get about 35kmpl. The meter on my bike was reading 40 as real time efficiency most of the time and my overall average went from 26 to 29 after the 700km highway ride. Sit in 80s or 90s and you can drive all day long, I did 150 to 200kms non stop during the ride and it was my first 150km+ ride
After software update,the issue is gone. However after turning off the engine in traffic sometimes, the bike doesn't start after giving self-start, even after 3-4 tries. Triumph engineer said it was software issue,n said turning the key on/off will do the trick.it works,but i hope it resolves in next software update.

i own an scrambler 400x from 3 months :- pros:- 1). A very torque engine where you will not think twice to overtake,etc... 2). In city you can cruise in 3-4 (sometimes 5) gear easily all day. 3).its nimble when you ride and you will feel more confident day by day riding the vehicle. Cons:- 1).If mileage is an issue then it all depends on how you ride. 2).The air filters of the vehicle go bad after 3k,3.5k km.(BMC air filter are way better than stock ones,they easily last upto 10k-14k km). 3).Headlight is an issue as the light projection is less. Maintaince :- the first service is around 1000km and costs around 2.1k-2.3k, later have an periodic service after every 5k-6k km that will cost you around maybe 3k-4k depending on your vehicle condition. Mileage:- I Stay in bangalore and have been driving this bike in peek hours and gives me mileage around 24-26(all depending on your driving style), and about the heating, its decent and has no huge heating issue( anyway its an 398 cc engine but produces less heat than ktm duke 390 which is around 373 cc i guess). Performance:- Its an pocket rocket. and the suspension its really good and on the road it will not wobble or any kinda bs.

Classic 350 - good engine (power high end me Kam hai), overall better service network, good resale. CB 350 - smooth engine, powerful than classic 350, higher parts cost and service charges, only serviced in big wing. Mavrick - haven’t ridden it.
It’s 400 cc, the engine is supposed to heat. The issue is it gets dissipated in ways which is uncomfortable and this is the issue of higher cc naked bikes in general.
@@suryakantsharma8085 they should learn from BMW, the way they managed it in 1250 GSA. On youtube people have both tiger 1200 and 1250 GSA, based on that I am saying.
