Her voice fits perfectly with the song subject matter...the duality of Pisceans and their struggles with aspects of their personality :) Her growl is self taught and comes from the diaphram so no wrecked vocal cords! They've come along way since this track and like to change things up regularly. I doubt there is an actual genre for Jinjer :)

Tatiana is a beast....lol......try Teacher Teacher live next she's something to see live outside the studio.......the sad part is these bands have been here in the US but are not knowns as much as they should be
well their sound is pretty unique and many of their songs are kinda needs more time to digest for casual listeners

Saw Jinjer live last year twice in Ohio it was in my top 5 favorite live shows of all time. They are amazing.

Fun reaction - subbed! There is a lot more from them. I've seen them twice and they are fire live. I'd recommend a live performance but Teacher Teacher official live is epic too. Perennial live at Wacken (pronounced "Vah-ken", btw because it is in Germany) is maybe a bit harder than this with a focus on cleans but also great growls. Who Is Gonna Be The One official live is a banging protest song with the focus on growls and a wider range of growling than she does here - I'd recommend reading the lyrics first, though really that applies to all of their songs because Tatiana is a superb lyricist. Looking forward to the next one. Cheers!

Hello and welcome the rabbit hole. It never gets old to see a new Jinjer fan come in to the army. Would love to see you react to the official videos for Pit of Consciousness or Retrospection. Both are great videos of not just her voice, but the band as a whole. You truly can't go wrong with any Jinjer videos and have probably 20 routes you could take with them.
It makes me laugh when I see someone react to this song because it’s always first but never the only Jinjer reaction a channel does. They are all masters of their instruments and together they are amazing.

Most of the reactions I’ve watched, the reactor is taken aback and doesn’t know how to react. Even the vocal coaches who know what it is and appreciate the skill usually are thrown and at a loss for a bit (or longer).

Great reaction! Echo the calls for Teacher Teacher, but I also recommend "Pit of Conciousness - Live in Kiev". She screams higher AND growls deeper, it's amazing.
