my biggest worry is the fact she gets tired in the middle of the song. i don’t mean to be rude, the song is hard so it’s natural to get tired! she’s a good singer, we know that. she just needs to get stronger to be able to sing amazingly the whole song, not just half of it. crossing my fingers for her!
She is tired these days. She hasn't recovered, that is the issue for sustain here since it happened only one place when you need it, and typically in those variations.. if you have a cold still, it doesn't work to vary those notes in the bridge, it went to whisper and that's usually a sign of still havin cold or something down the lungs. I don't know if she has , but to me it sounds like, plus, I've seen she has worked in studio constantly since mgp with no rest at all for the voice (albumsongs, etc). Usually you train your voice every day, but if you have acold. you must rest. But I know what went on from lai la da di da, which is the only place , and exact same place as last time.. she went up on a different tonescale, she could clearly not hear herself on that one. If that is the issue, her team should really ask for other ear-ins. She lit never misses the whistlenote, that doesn't happen on a healthy day at all.

She can do that, but not when she's sick or something and her voice is disabled, so let's hope that it won't happen, she and her song are AMAZING
On her best days she is The Best! She has winningmaterial , but for that you need to be all on top. I don’t think it should be at all judged from preparties where people are drunk. Listen to the newest acoustic live from her instead - it is all live.
You are not rude, and what you say is true. She needs to rest her voice, because that high note is very difficult and with every concert is getting harder to hit it. It will be a shame that what happen to Ronela repeats again when she wasn't able to hit her note.

Alessandra is horrible live without auto-tune like she had in MGP and we could hear how horrible she is live in Madrid And also in Amsterdam. And she dropped to fifth place in the betting odds tonight.
I am guessing people waited for the whistle note that usually only her can do, and elite sopranos. It is a very difficult thing to do if you are still not recovered from cold, and she hasn't rested it at all as far as I can see. It went from whistle to whisper. It is something that happens if something is in the lungs.. I do hope she knows how to rest. The prob here with her and another artist, as in all preparties, are they obv can not hear themselves well. Ear-in issues is a thing. When crowd is this wild, they must do something about that! I hope liverpool is better at that technical part.

For everyone saying she sounds off. She is still recovering from a cold, the audio on these videos are usually off, she’s just having fun as it’s a party. The whole “everyone used auto tune in the National final” is actually a mistranslation. Basically in Norwegian the official statement roughly translates to “those who want it can use auto tune” but because of how we Norwegians phrase things it was accidentally translated into “everyone is going to use auto tune” by a lot of sources. It was fine other than the somewhat-off whistle note. But I'm not too worried - I believe in her and that she'll do great when the time comes

I don’t think so. It made their performances less focused on the artist and flashy lights for the audience , some of them used backingtrack also. They should have just made it with lights design. And for video quality uploaded .. there is room for improvement . Lots of videos from the preparties look like just cheap mobile / cellphone takes.
What kind of an excuse is that "she sings horribly because she is having fun"? This is a performance which means that she should do both, even if she's not having fun she should deliver vocally.

This song demands a lot from her vocal ability. There's still time left, consulting an expert team is a good resolution.
She takes singing lessons ever since a child and goes to a very highquality musicschool . Her preparties aren’t her only shows she has done. Look up other performances to see first.

It gives a really bad impression of her abilities, and that's not easy to forget. I do hope she's getting proper vocal support from her team, to stop damaging her voice. Semifinal of Eurovision will not have jury, only televote - newsmagazines say. Also, using autotune isn't as common in NRK as rumored, in fact, it is a "never" , only on Umami Tsunami -Geranimo and Skrellex -Love Again used it. Now people go ahead and think everything NRK broadcasts is in autotune all of the sudden..

She never used auto tune in the National final. Only Skrillex and Unami Tsunami used it. It’s was voluntary and those were the only ones who said yes to it. Atm she’s just recovering from a cold and having fun so her vocals aren’t gonna be 100% perfect.

No autotune would not make it a banger, it would be dreadful . Autotune doesn't improve a voice, that's a myth. It only makes someone hit a note they cannot hit, that's all what autotune does. It doesn't keep the signature in a vocal, and it strips dynamical range. It would not at all win MGP if it was in use, and also her voice would not have character such is what she is known for after awhile in esc. She has texture in voice, and autotune strips that totally. So, it technically would not become a banger if it was. Even her studioversion doesn't have it much, it compresses the voice there, makes it less powerful than live performance even. So, dream on with your technical insights! :D

Skrellex and umami tsunami were . only because they asked . Later on the rest of the artists in Norwegian Final were asked too if they wanted since those only two acts wanted it on some places in their chorus, where the rest of our final artists didn’t want and didn’t use. It was also informed on telly right before the national final by the producers. So “allowed” is lost in translation. it meant only a few two artists of the whole. of course not hers.
If the finalists had used autotune, they wouldn't be finalists. because autotune doesn't work on dynamical vocalists. NRK is not known for using this on any live, it's false. Also they confirmed this, so I wish at least even if you don't like the outcome of some performance don't use tha autotune-card. Umami tsunami , pretty straightforward kpop-band who used it got really far down the list of votes and also from international jury.

@@iselinfergestad Maybe she manages to hit some notes better because she's not dancing and the tempo is slower. But it sounds like it's with autotune there too, just like at MGP. NRK made a big mistake allowing autotune in their national final. Norway will pay a big price for that in Liverpool.

Like I know if autotune was used on Lindmo, you wouldn't hear any of that head tone that you heard, or anything at all of that jazzy feel she sounded. Because, we know how sound works. By the way, since I have worked with sound on NRK once before, I know what kind of output they use on TV-shows... it is ALL the same.. because of NRK-standards. Kind of agree with you. For some reason I feel this too. Also I think Sweden will be further back than everyone predicts. Me, too, first thought Sweden is going to win, but not so much now. Also I think France will hit much higher than estimated. Finland might be top three, might not, depending on the stage show and the mood. Also UK. Some underdogs also. Vesna will do well. Brunette is overrated. Same with Israel and Poland. Those a re worse, Armenia will come higher than those. To me personally, I only like Austria for the mv, not their live. First we must see who is going to qualify! There are always shockers. I am in no worry. I just think people judge our entry too fast to disqualify if there is a tiny party where hats fly. When there are good performances.

She sang great the whole first part until last quarter when for some reason she went up one scale too high (presumely that is an ear-in issue like last preparty).
