This video is about a disabled person, Kalsang, who prostrate around Potala Palace every day in Lhasa.
I met him on the road around Potala Palace. Mr. Kalsang, a 50 years old man from Shigatse, has been prostrating here for ten years.
For him, who is physically disabled and without a family, to pray for peace and happiness for every living being is the only thing that makes him happy. So he comes to the Potala Palace and prostrates every day.
He doesn’t have any specific income, but people donate some money to him. So do I.
I invited him to have lunch in his favorite tea house and bought him some warm clothes.
I wanted to help him as much as I can, but he kept saying that there were people who were more difficult than him, and he hoped I can help them.
“Please help those who are sicker or poorer than me.” he always said like this.
Even he got money, he donates 80% of it to the monastery and leaves himself with only 20% to guarantee the most basic survival.

This man doesn't have a home, is disabled, has no money, yet he donates what excess he gets to monasteries. Honestly, his humbleness brings tears to my eyes.
This video is so touching to me. I made me cry. Tibetan people are the most kindest, caring, loving, honest and sincere people on earth. Most Buddhist countries believe in doing good for others. Always give more than receive. I’m from Thailand and we do the same. We help one another and donating to the temples are the merits. I love Tibet! 😁. May Lord Buddha bless and protect Tibet people around the world. Peace ☮️ on earth.

@Pine Joi I wouldn’t say he’s a traitor, he kind of got forced into it, and you can’t exactly blame him for that, he originally didn’t intend to, I believe he’s a truly nice person and devoted Buddhist, it’s really the fault of the Tibetan “gov’t in exile”/separatist and partially the communist for their original attitudes toward religion, he’s really just a victim of the disputes between the communist and the Tibetan “gov’t” he had no choice but to go to India, it’s not really his fault and because of that I wouldn’t really consider him a traitor like you said

This one legged man is the most compassionate person in the world. Kelsang-la is a down to earth person who postrates & prays for universal peace and for those who suffer from diseases or poverty. I am impressed with his humility! The world needs more people like Kelsang-la.
