This was very informative! I'm learning to make spore suspensions for my Master's research. One thing different though, is you diluted before filtering; I wonder if you do so because you are very familiar with the spore-producing ability your culture that you are using.
Awesome. I understand why you use anti-bacterials for the first plating of the fungal sample, but why when you re-plate it on V8 agar the 2nd time do you NOT use antibiotics? Because the colony is presumed pure and bacteria free?
Thyago pl tell me how can we identify pure culture of trichoderma after 72 hours of incubation and how can we isolate pure colony in another petri dish
I needed such a quick walkthrough for my upcoming experiments, superbly explained, thank you for your efforts!
0:13 isolating the fungus
2:35 culturing the fungus
4:13 preparing the inoculum
This is super helpful. Thank you.
Thank you so much for this! Extremely helpful
This is really helpful!! Thank you!
thank you so much for this video

Very important for my class. Thanks you.
really helpful, thanks for the vid
Can I use the culture method shown here as a way to grow fungi for antifungal evaluation of treatments?
Thank you very much. It is relly helpful ...I am from Iraq
Thank you 😊
Thank you very much for this video... very imortant information for practical study its really helpful

Very nais. Thank you
Does this method work for all fungi?

What about if there are no spores of the fungus and there's only mycelia?
Can I use this isolation method for isolating R. solani using water agar?
Really ma'am thank you so much
what is CIAT manual stands for? i cannot find any articles about it.
Excellent
It was really very educative. Pls more video upload to isolate & identification of rice disease.
What kind of fungus could we isolate with this methods ? Is that for all fungus? Or just specific fungus?
very informative
Mam I have a question
How much inoculum suspension for foliar spray will be required for 2.5-month-old rice plant for 24 pots of 1 kg?
2:32 At what degree Celsius should it be incubated?
usually incubated at 25 degrees celsius
what is the name of this technique
Isolation of fungus
Wow, such a great video! I'm really glad I found it.
Are you a microbiologist? Biologist?
Awesome video, really helpful.
Thyago pl tell me how can we identify pure culture of trichoderma after 72 hours of incubation and how can we isolate pure colony in another petri dish
better use gloves for safety
this is really helpful. thank you so much
