Why Dazzler failed? • Uninspiring colour schemes • CBZ/Hunk were available with much better colours, same engine and similar performance • Presence of Yamaha FZ v1 with unmatched stability and handling and braking (at that time). Perhaps the biggest reason why Dazzler failed • For slightly more money, you could get a Pulsar 220, which was quite hot at that time • And in 2012, Bajaj dropped a big bomb in the form of 200NS, which was available at an unbelievable price of just ₹86000 ex showroom! Anyways, the Dazzler was a brilliant motorcycle. Later ones like Trigger and Hornet just don't match the feel of Dazzler.
Fantastic review. I'm a proud owner of this 12 year old gem.. Yes, it gives 62 kmpl at times and take you 130+ kmph. When I had just a free flow fiter, slightly big jet and 120/80-17 tyre gave sweet top speed of 138 kmph and mileage always 45+... What a gem! Now I brought it back to stock, ran 178000 km, still running, indestructible! I don't have any plans to sell it. No matter how many rides I buy, this will have a permanent place in my garage! Yes it's very underrared...

@@aswinonboard6082 Everytime when I shift from 1st to 2nd I'll revv to max rpm. Maybe thats one of the reasons. And is there any chance to get lower mileage by incorrect carburator tuning?! Many mechanics dont know how to tune these type of carburator😵.

pls check your bikes tank, if there is rust inside, it may go inside the carb and reduce the petrol flow. check the air filter, spark plugs etc... also do one tank and carb clean
@@aswinonboard6082 Bro same happened to me after 14 years. Rust in tank. I understood that Its important to put petrol tank cover than go for looks. I changed the tank because it was already 14 years. Changed the tank and cleaned the carburetor. I petrol got tank for 5000 rupees and I think it is absolutely ok for spending 5000 rupees than getting a new bike for 1.5 lakhs.. lol I can now use the bike for another 5 more years. Super Bike!!
