In zechariah 14 it sounds like its ok for judah to fight back ... I am confused because i have been taught that we should die for yeshau rather than fight back. What about all the Christian and Jewish martyrs ?
No, Yeshua doesn’t condemn self-defense. I don’t think that was the point of “turn the other cheek.” When he talks about someone slapping you, he was referring to a customary insult in the first century.

I always thought the meaning of "turn the other cheek" was to "turn the other's cheek" Amen.
Jesus is quoting the story of Micah from 1 kings 22 / 2 chronicles 18.
