For myself, I failed at being extroverted at a gathering over the weekend. I did start a chat with someone, but there were many other chances I had to step outside my shell.
Interestingly enough, today is one of few days where I didn't fail haha. Was told by my agent I booked a co-star on a Lifetime movie. It's not much, but it had been a long time (2 full years) since I booked anything, so it feels like a victory.
i had to tape my audition a few more times then i wanted to last night because i was messing up on a word. it was annoying but i reminded myself not be be upset and we sent it in this morning.
If you're not failing on a regular basis, you're not pushing yourself hard enough. Not a direct quote, and I can't remember where I heard it, but I agree with it wholeheartedly. Also, the attempt at "perfection" in any creative endeavor, including acting, is a sure way to never reach your potential. The so-called failures in rehearsals, and even the "failures" or flubs in the audition or performance can provide the most magical of moments. Creativity is not a math problem; it's experiencing yourself in the story with all your human imperfections that creates the magic. The flawless word-perfect audition rarely books the role.

Shame I wasn’t there - I’m sure I would have failed to allow you not to chat to me 😂
LOL!

I have been told, and also felt myself, that failure is a great teacher.
Indeed it is...

As to the question, I think I failed at life in general this week. Sorry, probably TMI.
Well spoken!
Hey, no judgment. We all have those days/weeks/seasons...
