- First Impressions on the new Strawberry Icing from Tru Fragrances. I also want to talk about the line overall and what I think about it as a whole. From accessibility, to affordability and everything in between.

I after maybe 6 months of looking I found vanilla potion sooooo happy. And I picked up the strawberry icing. I love them both ❤

I finally found Vanilla Potion and LOVE it!! I 100% want a backup b/c I use it alone and with almost any other perfume to enhance it. I saw the praline but didn't get it & now I wish I had! I'll be back on the hunt this weekend :)

I smelled strawberry icing a couple months ago and you are right!! It was giving strawberry koolaid lol. I couldn't do it! If you want a more refined version of Vanilla potion, try Dama Bianca from Xerjoff or Junoon Noir (an arabic fragrance which is an exact dupe).
Fresh out the shower, moisturize with an unscented body cream or lotion, start with the vanilla potion, then layer with the praline & pistachio. Thank me later. ❤️

Strawberry icing is long lasting and she lingers... i didn't like it at first but afterwhile she grew on me.... definitely a strong one

Great video! I agree with you on the initial strawberry synthetic smell. FOMO is real none of these are that great but i like the pistachio praline one best!

I agree. Strawberry Icing is better in the air. Nose to skin it is somewhat synthetic. I still bought a back up. I’ll be layering it for sure.

Some people can't find them at their stores and some people FOMO and the addiction is real and they don't mind purchasing a 10ml for that price. I have sold some for $20 and still people asking do I have anymore. People will pay for what they want. They know the original price but they still purchase them.🤷🏾♀️
Strawberry icing is not necessary. Get the vanilla, at least it's gets better over time
But they sell them on the tj maxx website. You don't need a store. These people are morons for not googling.
I grabbed a backup of strawberry icing. I just found one bottle of Praline Pistachio today so I grabbed that too.
I just picked up Praline and Pistachio at Marshall’s and then this video popped up on my feed. 😮 It smell so good. Definitely want to get a backup. I was looking for another Pistachio Delight from Tru Fragrance because I didn’t want to pay more on Mercari. Especially when it was $13 in the store if you can find it. I saw Strawberry Icing but I figured it will smell like Strawberry Macarons.

I have 3 bottles of the praline and pistachio fragrance,, 2 of the Strawberry Icing ( but not on purpose) 🤣🤣🤣 and a bottle of the vanilla potion fragrance and it’s just okay to me,,, great video sis 🥰🔥🔥
You’re feeling better 👍🏾👏🏽😊 I saw the Strawberry Icing at TJ Maxx but I didn’t like it on my skin and yes I agree with you it’s a synthetic smell I’m getting so I didn’t get it instead I ordered the Dua inspiration of Bath and Body Works Strawberry Snowflakes because I like that one

I kept seeing these being talked about a nd after seeing lo so natural talk about em,I was on the hunt. I was very disappointed in the vanilla one. I smelled nothing!!! I kept spraying and smells nothing. Thank God I didn't blind buy these bc I couldn't find these in my local store for months. The pistachio one I want to smell. The strawberry one was good but not enuff for me to buy.
They are selling 10ml decants of wild Madagascar Vanilla mist on other platforms
They have another called Jade or Jade Garden. Something like that and it smells really good too. It’s in a dark teal bottle.

Pistachio and praline smells exactly like wrapped in vanilla by bath and body works

I'm 100% wit ya V, vanilla potion was too light,I couldn't smell shit. Lol. Strawberry was cute ,,but Bath n body strawberry pound cake is better imo,,so pistachio praline wins all the way... ur right on tho,bc my marshalls was fully stocked on the strawberry and vanilla one and only 1 of pistachios..i hated tbe other 2 and only bought the pistachio one bc that smelled the best and that was the only one i wanted anyway. It took ne months to find these in store tho. The pistachio one prolly always sells 1st for all the same reasons. People chargws alot online for it. They crazy. Also are u sure the vanilla one gets better over time. I wouldn't have thought so bc its soooo light that i smelled nothing
Hi there, have you ever triedJulianna’s 10 ml travel sprays? They’re top tier, have influenced by BaccaratRouge 540, Delina & SO much more high niche & designer for $21 + 3 free samples. They’re all about customer care and service kill if you buy a bottle you get two of your choices of the maybe 10 ml,,? Possibly bigger along with it of your choosing, you get a pick-plus they give you a sample of the big bottle (about $40) with it to sample first for like a month or so and if you don’t like it, you can send it back into something else. They are excellent. In as far as I hear from everyone online they all love them and I love when I’ve gotten from Julianna’s.

I hope vanilla potion gets better with time. Right now it’s sitting, and i will revisit it in a month or two. If there’s no improvement then I will declutter it. I can’t say that I like it even a little bit right now. I don’t get the hype. Maybe it’s a bad bottle.
Try mixing it with philosophy fresh cream warm cashmere lotion & fresh cream perfume. It’s yummy!
I absolutely agree. I purchased Vanilla Potion and took it right back to the store. Don’t get the hype. All I smell is alcohol and a very faint powdery vanilla

I have yet to pick up a bottle of fresh cream warm cashmere. Everytime time I’m about to purchase it another fragrance grabs my attention, but I’ll get it eventually and try to pair them together. Thanks.
@@naturalbeauty511 Right! I’m like what is this? I should’ve known better because I tried it on my hand before the hype and didn’t really like it. I thought it reminded me of “Mad Potion” a vanilla perfume by Katy Perry (which I already have), but Mad Potion is better, so I passed on it. After the hype, I thought maybe I missed something and I need to get it home to really test it out. Once I got it home, I instantly regretted it! It’s worse than the first time I smelled it. Maybe it’s my bottle, or maybe it has to sit. I know Mad Potion smells better now than when I first bought it. 🤷🏽♀️

I layered strawberry icing with strawberry soda & pink sugar berry blast (perfume & mist) with a vanilla body butter that I make! Chile, I went bed smelling good enough to eat! 😂

I have vanilla potion and praline and pistachio love them,but I didn’t like something about the strawberry icing
I put Tru Fragrances in the category of "Fragrances to enjoy it in the moment that it's sprayed". I love Praline and Pistachio but unfortunately, it lasts as long as a fart which has put me off from buying another scent from this brand.
I can kick myself for not picking up pistachio and praline. It smelled so gooooooooood 😩
Tried selling decants on Mercari. Got flagged numerous times and had my posts taken down for breaking the rules. Some people have been allowed to get away with selling them but I have yet to figure out why different rules for different people. So annoying. Hope you have better luck than I did.
Yea I've had full bottles of other perfumes (mfk & initio)that were flagged twice I waited a few months and reposted then and they sold w/no issues
