Thanks for the tribute. Kevin was always smiling and upbeat. He had a great pallet for good beer and his beer reviews were endless pieces of education. We would banter back and forth online quite often and when I recently moved to Western Idaho, I thought I would someday soon get a chance to meet him in person. We were both the same age, and this reminds me how life can be shorter than expected. I will miss him dearly. Cheerz.
So sorry for your loss SJ. I seem to recall a Zoom brew gathering at least 6 or 7 years ago where I first met you and Kevin for that event. Both of you were really rather cool dudes. We are immortal for as long as someone keeps us in their memory. Wonderful tribute Sir.
@@MicroSessionsBrewing I remember getting together for a brew day way back. You are correct, the internet lives on so there are even more folks that will find his videos entertaining forever.
Great tribute to a great friend, SJ, I share your tears and sorrow. I've watched almost every video Kevin published on his YT channel, and commented some of them. Kevin always answered my comments, and over the years we developed some kind of friendship, me in Europe, he in the USA. I will share with you his last message to me, showing how kind person Kevin was. He wrote """If you were to EVER make it to Portland, I would be personally offended if you did not contact me. I would be only to happy to act as a tour guide and potentially put you up. Thanks for the support. Cheers!""" That's Kevin's own written words. I never made it to Portland... RIP Kevin. Thank you, SJ!!!
I for one can say that he meant every word. He has done that very thing for others that made the trip to Portland. Keep his family in your thoughts as they go through these trying times. Cheers
Sorry for his family’s, your, the community’s loss. I didn’t know him, but watched a bunch of his videos over the years. He’s obviously left a legacy in the community. Cheers.
When we heard the news Josh and I were together and we were saddened and shocked by Kevin Clements passing. We love you and will miss you Kevin RIP my brother.
Is a great loss to the brewing community, and a nice video about him. I received one of those mash paddles too, never knew there was only three of the main ones :) I got one of the ones that Harry wasn't happy with and put to one side and started again. He then found them later when tidying and gave them away 😅 I'll take it out tonight when I have a beer and raise another glass to Kevin 🍻
Very sad news as this is the first I hear of it. 😢 Was glad to have been on of his subscribers ... Best beer reviewer to have been found on RUclips. Will be greatly missed. PS: Happy Birthday!! 🎂 PPS: Talk about Chris (Harrybrew69), does anyone know what happened to this brother ?
Such a sad loss to his family and to the whole Homebrew community, Rest in peace Kevin! Sample some ambrosia in heaven and will look forward to hearing your review when its my turn to meet up with you again.
SJ, I can see the deep sadness in the video. I know you guys were great and close friends and I’m so sorry for your loss. He’s smiling down on you, wants you to carry on brother. Keep doing what you do and keep the home brew spirit alive ❤
Such sad news, I will miss my dear Uncle Kevin so much. I can’t quite bring myself to “announcing” it to my circle on any of my socials just yet. Still doesn’t feel right or real yet. Thanks for paying tribute to him in this way. Cheers brother…
Been so surreal these last few days. But I know that he would want us to move on and get back to what we do. Shit, he would probably kick me straight in the ass and say stop it already.
He will be missed. 😢 I’m glad I got to meet him in person at the Philly meetup. That trip was awesome. I loved watching Kevin and Christian doing the beer reviews. Good Times! Robyn and I will keep Kevin’s family in our prayers as well as you and everyone that Kevin has touched through RUclips.
When you called, I knew something was wrong…. Yes, a great friend has been lost. We’re grateful for the memories. My heart is heavy. Truly a special friendship among us all. 💔
I could not get the words out Brad, I wanted to be able to get it together but it just wasn’t gonna happen. So glad Mary was standing behind me. Love you brother
Loved by everyone that met him; the Whiskey Roundtable is missing a leg. Still can’t believe it. You just don’t encounter many like Kevin…only if you’re very lucky. I keep thinking about those Homebrew videos he used to post during the holidays wearing a Santa hat. Somehow that is the perfect iconic image that matches his wonderfully warm, curious, and thoughtful personality. Man…he is already missed.
I'm shocked and devastated. This is the first I heard. Kevin spoke often and highly of you SJ. He's been an inspiration and someone I've always looked up to. I came across a video of his the first time I got into home brew and realized that he lived nearby. The best damn beer reviewer and BrewTuber you could ever ask for. Like you say he's not someone that can be replaced and nor should he be. More importantly a kind and generous person with a personality that just lit up the room. He just sent me a gift out of the blue a few months ago. I'm just having a hard time taking this in right now. I'm not sure if you have my contacts SJ, but please reach out to me if you do and keep an eye out on your email etc as I might reach out in the next few days. Best to his family and everyone in mourning. Thank you for the tribute SJ and RIP my friend Kevin Clements.

What a great man and legacy within the community. He will be missed! Paul and Kevin will be tipping back a few. Much love and respect.
Yes they will, I’m sure that he has already grabbed Paul, Zippy and Strat and all 4 are brewing right now!
