    Great choice, looks way better than the 1300 GS 🤩

      I really do like the 1200/1250. It’s my 3rd in this body style and is a proven reliable platform. We’ll see how the 1300 shakes out but it may take a few years.

    Great choice, I picked up mine on Wednesday 3rd April over here in the UK. Exact same bike. Pouring with rain on my 4 hours ride home but loved it all the same. Enjoy.

    What are your thoughts Adam on trading the R18 B for gsa I know you had one as well 😊

    • @AdamChandler86
      @AdamChandler86  6 месяцев назад +2

      I'm actually not quite sure what the R18 goes for on trade. Dealers offered me $8,000 for my 2018 GSA with 33,000 miles. I sold my R18 for $12000 which was a pretty good deal but there was some body damage. I imagine $10-$12K in trade but that's just a ballpark guess.

    Did the same thing, but went with the 1250 Rallye. Good luck with it

    Nice bike. Really love the color. I really would love to buy a 2024 GSA as I think this model is going to be iconic in the next 3-5 years. And yes I do believe bmw is going to sell lots of the 1300s but there is something about the 1250s

    • @AdamChandler86
      @AdamChandler86  6 месяцев назад +1

      I hope you're right about it being iconic. My only concern with the 1300 is the stamped aluminum frame (previously steel trellis). they saved a lot of weight but so many folks with cracked GS frames just weld them. Not possible if you crack the aluminum. That's more sport bike tech so I don't know. We'l just have to see.

    Have some safe miles with your new bike! 😃 In my opinion the best colour available. :)

    How long is the box of your truck? I see it's loaded on an angle.....

      This is a long bed in the standard half-ton so 6.5 feet. 8 foot isn’t available on the 1500. I can put 3 bikes side by side with the tailgate down or 1 bike sideways.

    I would love to trade my bagger r 18 for a gsa

    • @AdamChandler86
      @AdamChandler86  6 месяцев назад +1

      Definitely different bikes like they're so freaking different having owned both now. I will forever miss the R18 motor (in next 2-3 years, will be picking up a used base model to have one in the garage). The GSA is like a tall sport bike. It's so high tech, can go anywhere and haul anything. slightly worse fuel economy but a hoot to ride.

      @CheeseBiker4Life 6 месяцев назад +2

      @@AdamChandler86 I have ridden the GSA before, but an older one although I do like my bagger, it is a bit heavy to lug around

    • @CheeseBiker4Life
      @CheeseBiker4Life 6 месяцев назад +2

      Also probably about 200lbs difference between the two anyways I love your videos

    • @AdamChandler86
      @AdamChandler86  6 месяцев назад +1

      Bagger = 878 lbs, GSA = 591 lbs so 287 pounds difference. That's the fully fueled numbers from BMW. The Bagger sits way lower and has a lot of down load torque. I love riding both bikes. It was really hard to sell my R18.

      @@AdamChandler86 but the GSA would be a much more nimble ride, not to mention much more manageable

    Carolina buyer goes to New York for the purchase. There's a story there

    • @AdamChandler86
      @AdamChandler86  5 месяцев назад +1

      The story is definitely that MaxBMW was the cheapest place to buy a motorcycle east of the Mississippi so it was worth the drive.

      I messed up. But in my defense, I had driven 11 hours overnight and was truly exhausted to load up and get out of there.

    • @MattRhoads

      Not a mess up at all. He’s just such the personality it would have been good for the camera. We picked up a bike for my wife from him last spring.
