im loving the sound of this sohc turbo build, sucks that the head is lifting even with the arp. Im doing a mild vitara build and probably just looking to do 300hp and hope the head does not lift. Your build sounds solid, keep up the work brother
These are the head studs I run they been holding 30psi no problem they're 11mm×1.5 They work on D15B v-tec or D16Z6 heads you will need to time sert your block and drill the head
@@ACGarage614 it's not hard just time consuming your going to have to grind down the washers cause they're too wide I just put them on a bolt and nut and grinded them all together it's way faster also you have to drill the stud holes on the head cause the 11mm head studs don't fit although they did barely fit through my head gasket anyways good luck that should solve your head gasket issues

@@ACGarage614 oouu. Nice. Man I would probably k swap awd a hatch(eg/ek). Any 90s Honda chassis is a good platform. Im almost done with my k swap (k24/20) eg hatch. Just need to do the radiator and put in oil, coolant, etc..

I bought srt4 head studs already. Drilling and tapping the block as we speak.

What exhaust manifold did you use to keep ac?
If it lifted the head using ARP studs at only 479hp that's more coffee a build issue then a head stud problem.

No. I parted the car and went back to k series builds
