    Good stuff. I have the 50RS RGB version and overall I'm pretty happy with it, aside from the same issue with the power brick dangling. It came with a couple diffuser options, but I find that I get the best results when I just throw the cheapo Neewer pop-up softbox I have over it, haha. Works great for gear shots.

      Do you have a link to the diffuser you use? Thanks

    Your review video is great - keep up the good work!!
    I was wondering how these lights compare with the SWIT PL-E60D ones.
    The latter are slightly bigger in size and much more expensive.
    So I wasn't keen on spending that money if I could find a reasonably similar use in the GVM 560-AS ones!
    I am referring especially to the possibility of using them outdoors sometimes - and not only in a studio.
    Would you say that they both do a similar job in general? Or is it worth spending the extra money on the SWIT ones?
    Thanks!

    As of now (09/10/2020) in the UK for 11 hours or until 100% claimed Amazon have 2 Lightning deals for 2 versions of their BiColour LED lights. Reduced from £104.99 to £75.99 and £114.20 to £82.50 respectively.

    It's good to see you trying out various lights as Rusty is very particular about how his legion of fans see him. ;)
    The problem of a dangling power pack is easily solved by strapping it to the stand with some velcro straps. You probably already have some if you have a Go Pro.

    • @DaveMcKeegan
      @DaveMcKeegan  3 года назад +1

      Yes strapping the block to the stand does help the problem, but does still mean if the light is extended to full height then the block puts additional weight which can cause instability, would definitely be better if it had a longer cable 😊

    Can this light change different colors. Geen blue ....

    • @DaveMcKeegan
      @DaveMcKeegan  3 года назад

      No unfortunately this is not an RGB light, it's a Bi-colour so it only offers varying colour temperatures rather than the full range of colours
      GVM do have other similar panels which are RGB though

    🔥🔱🐾🐕 nice looking product. There are clamps available for holding power-bricks to the light stand.

    As far as I know . you can have one light as master and other as slaves... so you control all at same time

    So if the cable is the biggest issue then that can easily be solved by cutting it and adding longer cable.

    • @DaveMcKeegan
      @DaveMcKeegan  3 года назад

      Yes if you're comfortable enough with cutting and extending then that is a workable solution

    • @TheHellis
      @TheHellis 3 года назад

      @@DaveMcKeegan yeah... You could perhaps borrow Rusty's bed to sit on, it looks comfortable.
      But cutting and soldering is easy...

      True but not everyone is used to soldering or really up for hacking and modding their new equipment 🤣

      I understand that some may hesitate.
      But if you want to make it dead simple then you can just buy these sleeves you just thread over the splice and melt with a lighter. It creates a solder joint and is supposed to be waterproof.
      You can do it Dave!

      @@DaveMcKeegan Actually, according to GVM spec, it's 3800 lux at 1m, 13500 lux at 0.5m.
