If I'm not super keen on spending money, and I can only grind enough coal for the thunderer or the georgia before their removal, which should I be buying? I own two premium ships, only one tier 8 (massachusetts) which I absolutely love. If I buy Georgia, I'll be able to earn a ton, but I'll only have one secondary captain for both it and the massa. I have not played any british battleships so far. What should I do?
How do you convert steel to coal anyway? I'm asking since I don't see any use for steel yet, and I tried to use coal to buy in Armory but I'm lacking...
you can only convert it when you have enough of it to buy the certain ship. From the top of my mind, 1 steel = 10 coal (correct me if im wrong). So when you have coal and enough steel to add up to that coal, you will see an option to convert it to coal.
All good if this game is your life, you will need over 2500 coal per day for 90 days to get a Thunderer. I only play maybe an hour a day so its completely unachievable.
Every time I see videos like these, I wonder... How in the name of all that is unholy do you get literal hundreds and thousands of signals and camos... I mean, I'm not exactly struggling with them... But I'm never in a threshold this safe - especially with economic flags. How do you even do this without throwing full wallets at WG? Also - hundreds of thousands of free XP... Ok, free XP goes far faster in WoWS than in WoT, but still, these are insane amounts for average Joes.
some of these people have been playing since day 1. They might have all the possible T10s and as I've learned, when you're not grinding a certain line, credits and freexp tend to be easily gathered even without premium time. it takes a long time to get hundred millions of credits, but it us achievable, same goes to billions of FreeXP
@@reyhan5324 I've been playing since beta, with some breaks and it still baffles me how can you gather so much of this stuff without making breaks between events.

Depends on your playstyle. Thunderer is a good sniper from the back lines, slowly pushing away the enemy as you try to push in slowly. Or just pick off your enemies one by one using HE or AP shells. Very good accuracy and quite similar to Yammies guns. Georgia however is more of a predator thanks to its astonishing speed. With her speed boost up, it can actually run away from some of the TX DD's. It has decent guns and long range accurate secondaries which make most other BB's and especially cruisers run away when she suddenly pops up or starts giving chase.

But if brawling is what you are really interested and don't mind the ships going away, get Pommern. Thanks, I don’t have to much coal
I want IJN Yoshino and with my coupon it costs 186k coal
Make sure your clan has all the coal add ons in the clans port.... The clan I run, WULUF has them all, only to get the steel ones now. Also, last resort, you could ask the clan commander for a loan of coal from the clan Treasury... but, never used it, not sure how it works... not sure what happens if you get a loan and then leave the clan... so...
Hey Mountbatten, I just got Thunderer and already have Georgia, but. I will still save coal in December. Do you have any idea about what ships will be added after Thunderer, Georgia, Alaska and smaland removed?
Do you have the Yoshino? Really good SuperCruiser. Though it is a bit squishy, just play it at 12-15km. Had a 157k damage game in my second ever run with it and 3 point Captain.
I'm betting they readd the Flint/ Black/Neustrashimy that were removed a while ago
Rumors are said the Black would be coming back as a coal ship. Neustrashimi was a second rumor...
I know Yoshino is op but I already have Henri IV for long range HE spammer role. So, I’ll buy one of the new freemiums or a coal captain
Another Tipp : Join a clan for the bonus per container !
All I need is 100k coal. Thankfully they announced that his before I bought my last coal captain. When it comes to Georgia, though, I’m just gonna outright buy her.
I've been saving up for the Salem and this thre a wrench in that plan since i really wanted the Georgia too. i had just enough for the Georgia and man is she ever fun. time to restart the grind for my Salem
Go for the Des Moines, basically the same ship, weaker heal, but stronger radar and the legendary mod is nuts
I also want IJN Kaga and with my coupon it costs 8475
also remember in 9.12 update, there will be a new dockyard, this should be around xmas i asume, in the last dockyard there was 2 coal rewards
1st coal reward at stage 5 for 7,500 coal
2nd coal reward was stage 19 for 10,000 coal
good luck players
i dont buy anything with coal until WG announce it going to be remove. Bought Jean bart and smolensk that way.
If your a clan member your clan can also give you coal, Just ask the Commander or XO's
And the rammee was honored
I want to get the Flint tier 7 american light cruiser for 130k coal (coupon applied). But in the same time want to use the coal so i can complete all the collections (some give rewards that help me a lot in researching newer ships or making life easier for me). I also play ranked heavily so i also earn 200 steel every 3 wins. I always convert the steel to coal to get those containers to complete the collections. What is your opinion on this Sealord?
Right now I am grinding the Key battles so I can buy as much credits as possible so I can buy as many tier 5 to 10 ships as I can.
Good advice.Thanks
I calculated that I need around 50,000 coal for Thunderer if the coupon restocks before it goes away (if it doesn't, then I'm _screwed_ ), but if I have plenty of time, and the snowflake event comes back around the way people are saying it will, then I might just buy a bunch of T5-7 ships to knock snowflakes off of them and start grinding for Pommern or a legendary captain (say, Lutjens or Aboyneau (however the fuck his name's spelled)).
I'm so depressed that there's no actual "good" ship for Coal anymore... All the ones truly worth getting have been removed. :(
In short: 3 daily resources containers + doing the 6 daily missions = minimum of 1600 coal per day. 90 days of that gives 144 000 coal.
adding the christmas / snowflake event & you should be good
dont forget abought using 25% off coupon too 😎
Wasn't there an announcement that it at least 300 or 500 EP (forgot the exact number) in a match. to get the snowflakes tp prebent that all players go into coop just for the snowflakes.
Should I grab thunder or georgia
Omg I was in that game! I'm MemeMan32 in the Georgia on the enemy team
Lesson of the day kids , you are the weapon
"I recommend to not use Steel and convert it into Coal, if you have the slighest idea of getting a steal ship!"
Me, just getting german Ships and there are no Steel ones, yet: "Thats not my problem"
Hey MB, how would this change now with the new player challenges?
Every DD's dream! Be the Torpedo!
great videos man...ive been playing for about a month and your videos have really helped me and taught me alot.....i went from a n erie where i was getting 6 to 8 ships sunk in a single match at times so i figured i had it all figured out so i skipped the process of earning a ship and bought a roma.......and thats when everything i thought i knew went out the window and ive been getting utterly bitch slapped in every match since...but im getting better.....i just now worked my way up to the new orleans with aspirations of reaching the des moines at some point...my wow ships name is chicawahwah......if you see me in a match then um....i guess ive let the cat out of the bag and told you and everyone else that i suck lol....so have fun killing me i guess.....but eventually if i keep playing and learning from wathing videos like yours then its inevitable that ill someday suck alot less....anyway i just wanted to drop you a line and say thanks for the tips!!!
What should I do?
go watch potato qualities video on it, the vid breaks it down well
How do you convert steel to coal anyway? I'm asking since I don't see any use for steel yet, and I tried to use coal to buy in Armory but I'm lacking...
If you're bad, Santa will give it to you.
why won't it let me covert my steel into coal? any help would be appreciated
Wondering the same, if possible.
you can only convert it when you have enough of it to buy the certain ship. From the top of my mind, 1 steel = 10 coal (correct me if im wrong). So when you have coal and enough steel to add up to that coal, you will see an option to convert it to coal.
@@adityakulkarni7486 Thanks, will check it out when I have enough to buy Yoshino or another coal cruiser when/if WG adds more.
thanks for this Help. Ty
He is well known for just throwing money at the game
some of these people have been playing since day 1.
Most of it is from playing for over 3 years at this point and of course playing to review ships. Some of it is from buying what I need to get ships to review, ex: containers to get the Oklahoma and completing dockyard events, especially the special signals. The FXP is from clan wars and of course playing premium ships to review them.
Yeah, coal. At a rate of 400 coal per crate and maximum of 3 crates per day, it would take 183 days to save enough for a 220,000 coal ship.
sometimes it is 800 per crate , sometimes even 1,200 per crate , rare true , kind of like hitting a progressive jackpot.
Anyone find it convenient that WG are in the process of removing these ships, just in time for the Santa crate event? $$$. Be prepared to spend $300.
I have a Yamato. should I go Thunderer or Georgia for coal? I have heard Thunderer is very close to Yamato in playstyle etc.
What coal ships are leaving. Are they be replaced with new ships ?
When things don't as intended. Welcome to my random battles.
Raming speed
RAMING SPEED!!!
idk. spend all that coal now on known ships or wait to see what is on the horizon and be ready to get them???? that is the question at hand!
I am on sinop right now has 37k coals and Coupon of 25% off one so Till march will I able to grind upto 198K souls if I get only one container each day?
should this be updated?
clan members can donate coal to other clanmembers
10/10 for the try with yolo emilio Kappa
3 daily containers? where?
I know everybody is recommending the Thunderer, but i am more of a brawler battleship player and love the german BBs, so i am really thinking of getting the Georgia instead, should i?
get the thumderer for coal, georgia for cash.
Georgia is glorious. Had a blast yesterday in a 1 vs 5. Riga, 2 Georgias, Izumo and Roon. Came out on top with 230k damage. But if brawling is what you are really interested and don't mind the ships going away, get Pommern. Georgia's armor isn't great and its secondaries, while very accurate to deal with small ships, don't deal a lot of damage.
I imagined if i miss a torpedo to hit a enemy ship ill be a torpedo!
Im talking about torpedos
Hi there. I back after 4 years and can't recognize my CV they are very strange now. Can't sink BB in few runs anymore.
I have Kutuzow since then. What is Kutuzow good at? Is he still worthy or Power Creept?
Long range HE spamming as always. She's still strong but not as strong.
Really want thunderor before it's removed....only on 17k coal atm :(
Also if you join a clan that has max coal mine u earn more coal I usually get 454 coal in a 400 coal drop each time
I only need 100k coal for Georgia (by spending the 2k steel I have) getting 1k coal a day would be nice. + Am not skilled enough to get into clan battles and earn steel so I just ignore steel ships.
Anyone else reading the chat in the paolo match?
GLORIOUS
Hey man i sent you a replay, did you receive it? You don't want to miss that one :D
Must be nuts to get the Thunderer before the Georgia...
If you have the cash you can buy the Georgia / Massachusetts. Thunderer is coal only.
How you doing mate? Any symptoms?
Good video btw, this is great info in case whoregayming removes any other coal ships besides Georgia and Thunderer
Nope, I appear to be clear for now
10 us containers give u about 21,000 coal approx
These are the DDs that make me furious... -.- I forgot that the neptune has sonar? I mean cmon...
Totally not clickbait
so play the game?
dont forget the coupon for i believe 25% off
When does the snowflake season start?
right around New Years.
youtuber: No there is no youtuber
I'm about 30,000 off getting the Thunderer
There is no way in hell that you can get 2 of them right? I just wait for my coupon (30 days) and I'm gonna grab thunderer. I don't want any steel ship. Is there a minimum chance to get both thunderer and Georgia? Would appreciate and answer pleasem
Depends on how many ships you have for the snowflake event, and if you do the new dockyard event
@@sealordmountbatten I have 6 tier 10,3 tier 9, 7 tier 8,2 tier 7, and 6-7 tier 6. I will do the dockyard as well and on which one should I spend my coupon if I manage to get both? Also should I get more ships to get coal or get my midway? Thanks for answering.
@@petrosmarko3092 tier 10 Will give you crates. Which MIGHT drop some amount of coal with a max of 15k coal. Tier 9 and 8 ships Will hand out steel, which can be used to purchase coal ships. I believe 1 steel is about 10 coal.
Keep your eyes open for events, combat missions and always use the more resources containers you get from XP. They Will give you between 400-1200 coal per container. Also 400 coal a day if you do all the daily missions.
Being in a clan is also a bonus of 4-10% (i thought) of coal on top of what you earn.
If you can buy them both using the coupon or steel and you're not into any of the steel ships, just go ahead. I did use some low amounts of steel myself before...
