I’m curious how they will enforce the “families must sit together” rule… Will single passengers be forced to change seats after purchase? If a single person pays for seat selection and is moved to accommodate a family, do they get the seat selection fee back?

If you want stamps and the experience of running out of pages, just visit Palau as often as is legally possible. On entry, all tourists get the Palau Pledge stamped on an entire page and then you get to do something that happens nowhere else, the border guard orders you to sign and date your acceptance of the pledge (yes its the one time you can legally write in your passport). This happens every time as the pledge is unique to each entry. Or, you can just spend a lot of time and money getting visas to countries and filling the pages that way.

Visa, affordable flights, getting around the Great Firewall while you're there (which means either getting a whole new device or modifying your existing one), language barrier (wayyy more English-friendly in Japan and SK) - China is definitely a special case

The fingerprint thing is a major issue. I have problematic prints due to years of paper handling and biometrics don't work. I had to have a specialist take my prints for my job with a specialized reader.
And no, the fingerprint scanner on my phone doesn't work for me either. It never has.

Get some whilst you still can. There's still a few countries that use stamps. Otherwise your only option will be to apply for visas to countries in order to fill the pages and collect visas (something not many people try to do. Being born with multiple citizenships and only traveling where I have full rights, I haven't had a single stamp in any of my passports for the last 20yrs, that was until I visited Palau and they used their stamp which contains the Palau Pledge - it takes a whole page and gives you a special experience as its the only time you can legally write in your passport as the border guard orders you to sign and date the pledge for your entry to be valid.

Hi 👋, Megan! I’m Andrew. You’ve replied to many of my previous comments on previous videos. My personal opinion on the whole fingerprint thing with the European Union is that it seems big brothery to me. Read the George Orwell book 1984 to figure out what I mean.
How would that DoT rule work if say I book travel with a certificate from an airline in the new year … but the certificate has to be used by Christmas? For instance … I can use the certificate for travel after Christmas. But I have to spend it by Christmas. I hope that makes sense.
