Hi.. great video.. I also have all 3 of your variants and all in 12D. The difficulty, however, is that the black oiled ones are appears a little wider, probably due to the storm welt and the thicker leather. They appear wider in width and the heels are visually wider. But it seems they are same on the inside foot. The Stone Ramblers are initially not that flexible due to the firm leather. I came from 11.5D and think the decision to go to 12D is very good. Thanks also for your advice. I now even wear them with a minimal insole and was able to leave the original ones in. The Dark Coyote are the most comfortable out of the box and feel a little longer thanks to the beautifully soft leather. I hope you have fun with the Stone Ramblers. The whole thing becomes even more interesting if you want to buy shoes with a size 20 last. My 3 pairs and the 11.5 Oxblood pair before them are all in top quality, not as bad as almost all of the Red Wings I own, there is always something to complain about with Red Wing.
Something ive done which worked amazing for my boots which were too wide was adding a pair of Nicks leather insoles. They do a good job maintaining the feel you expect from a nice pair of PNW leather boots. The boots went from feeling a little bit too big to an almost perfect fit, much better than needing to wear thicker socks, especially in the summer.
They are beautiful. I have a pair of 20 Last, Stone Rambler, plain toes on the way. This is my first time trying Truman Boots. I own some Nick's, White's, JK's, and a few pairs of Red Wings as well. But those boots look freaking great man. I hope mine are dark like that.
I ordered their double shot in brown a few days ago; they got back to my in a couple hours and recommended an 11D (I'm 11.5 on the Brannock). Hoping they'll work out because they'll be my first and really was on the fence about having that T-bar style sole (but hey, if they don't work out I know a certain shoe repair guy that can revive them....). Initially in my quest for boots I didn't like rough out, or waxy or otherwise textured leather but they're starting to grow on me. I'm just trying to get pair or two from some quality companies to see what works best for me. I appreciate your professional insights regarding fit/finish and other details about these boots.
Saludos!!
Congrats the SR was my first pair of Truman boots. My holy grail. I beat the heck out of those guys. They are well broken in, the leather is amazing. More than a year later I will go into the garage you can still smell the leather. Very comfy now.
I love the dark Coyote. I'll be buying either those or waxed flesh in the new year... I'm not looking forward to seeing what the VAT, shipping and import charges bump the price to for the UK
I actually ended up selling these, and got a size 10.5 D now I know that’s my true size, the whole boot is wider on their EE If you already know your size get the same one, but if they fit you to wide go with the D and Half a size up.

Wow! Those are too nice (and expensive) for me. Enjoy them!
Awesome Boots!!! You have excellent taste! I can't wait for the re-welting and re-soling videos!
Haha,
I’m not doing anything on these 3 pairs .
Glad you got a pair of Stone Ramblers! I get jazzed every time I put mine on. Such a cool leather!
Definitely!!

I have the brown double shot in 11.5D and Im a 12D. They are a perfect fit. Hopefully it worked out the same for you.
Enjoy your new boots. I just got some Java Waxed Flesh. Hard to beat for the price. I might do a pair of coach ramblers.
I was thinking about those but the double shot in brown was calling me, or rather my bank account 😆

@@lesliewattkis1431 I haven’t worn them yet, they’re extremely hard to my feet 😅

Okay y gracias 👍👌

What do you recommend to use for conditioning the leather?
Great video! Hey, what is your brannock size?
Nice boots. I bought my coach ramblers at $460 and a week later all the rambler prices went up to $480.
That’s true, GS went up too!
Thanks
agreed on the top short part
🙌🏻🙌🏻
I love the dark Coyote. I'll be buying either those or waxed flesh in the new year... I'm not looking forward to seeing what the VAT, shipping and import charges bump the price to for the UK
shipping approx 42 Euro, plus 29% over all :(
Excelente video.
Nice boots! But I'm more interested in your hat. Brand, model, color??? THANK YOU!
(Stetson)
whippet wool fedora
Camel color
@@AaronG2480 I thought it was a Whippet. It's a good looking hat!
Thank you!
changed my mind on the sole, these say sit down and shut up
Do you use boot trees for your boots?
All three boots are bass ass! The brown pair are my favorite! Orale!
First thing I noticed is they’re laced differently. I would have to fix that.
Boots are brand new I haven’t even worn them, 🤷🏻♂️
Before I wear them I’ll make sure they both are properly laced.
I can't stand the 5" shaft. I only buy uplands from Truman, and on the 20 last. 79 last is ok but it is a bit too narrow.
Nice
Oh those are beauts! Not a lug sole guy but still
I don’t like lug soles either but…,These are not that aggressive
What kind of hat are you wearing, and how do I get it?
stetson.com/collections/all/products/whippet-wool-fedora-black
what size do you take in other boots? whats your brannock size?
Tengo unas moc toes.
Update video?
I haven’t even worn them
Haha.
One question I’m 10.5 EE on 79 last they sold out they have an 11 D you think I should get them or wait
I actually ended up selling these, and got a size 10.5 D now I know that’s my true size, the whole boot is wider on their EE
If you already know your size get the same one, but if they fit you to wide go with the D and Half a size up.
@@AaronG2480I think ima pull the trigger on them 11d , or those parkburst stones but I’m not familiar with wax Mohawk
And Truman’s have 100 off there boots rn that’s why I’m just like screw it go up little in size ha
Ay lob may sandalias
