Squad 44 is a pretty safe investment right now especially since it's getting the pacific theatre in a couple months. and has a much more dedicated development team.

Squad has an dogshit UI. And graphics are terrible. Hll just needs more content.

Easy red 2 has in no way died down, the developers are doing a supurb job.

This game actually has a roadmap recently announced too besides that superb rework of the Stalingrad campaign
RUclipsrs need to stop thinking of it as a budget Hell Let Loose. The primary focus of Easy Red 2 is the single player simulation and by extension PvE multiplayer, not PvP. The multiplayer uses P2P networking, which allows players to start up their own temporary lobbies at any time for free, but does not allow dedicated servers or huge consistent player numbers. As far as the multiplayer goes, most players are lurkers but will hop on if you host a public game, but by far most multiplayer is done between friends in private lobbies. The game is not intended to have 50v50 symmetrically balanced maps on dedicated servers like Squad 44 or Hell Let Loose.

I bought the game on Xbox a while back and there was no players
Easy Red 2 isnt dead its just mostly a singleplayer game
But Battlefield V is so historicaly innacurate that it's not really a WW2 game. =)
Apparently, it still puts the game director on "the right side of history" whatever the hell that means.
Guy easy red 2 on Xbox still has a decent player base especially at peak times

This video needs a thumb down for using old footage, focusing on pvp, and saying the game is dead when it isn't.
We need more popularity of easy red 2

Easy red 2 is better than enlisted, same combined arms gameplay and you dont have to grind yourself to death, surprisingly it has better gunplay too
When the AI in Easy Red 2 is more useful than Enlisted and adds to the feel of the large battle. Sure its not perfect but its presentable.
Seems odd to leave out any gameplay of Squad 44 when comparing these sorts of WW2 team shooters... You mentioned it but a brief comparison would have fleshed out this video.

Best one ever is WW2OL, the first and biggest fps ww2 mmo it looks dated but the gameplay has never been beaten! Gameplay and scale are the reason I’ve been playing it since it’s release in 2001

i do miss heroes and generals sometimes yes the game was not the best but damm was it fun like in what game can you get a jeep at the start of a match honk your horn and just have up 8 or 9 randos cilmb on it and you drive to the front its such a stupid sight to see the jeep covered with soldiers but also so funny to be on one like that i still have a screenshot of it
Loved that game. Had so many hours on it. People are working to get it back up and running. May take time tho
There are still some free ones: Forgotten Hope 2, Fog Of War - Free Edition (Steam), Operation Harsh Doorstop with WW2 mod servers (Steam). Personally, I prefer Battlefield 1942 Remastered from Portal (Battlefield 2042) over Battlefield 5, because there are no women in it.
bro if you want to play the best ww2 shooter ever made, its risingstorm/red orchestra 2. It was so good that even after 11 years, its still not dead yet. It is very influential in the ww2 genre, and also the tank animation is the best. Its a whole lot better than ghpc, you can see your crew reloading the gun, looking around inside you tank, etc. Owwh and also, the graphic is better than easy red 2.

enlisted servers are so terrible cant even play a full match without getting kicked
as an experienced enlisted player, I hate you, snipers in this game are very useless for the team and do not help to win the match, I ask you to disarm sniper squads and remove them from the pool of used squads, and instead use stormtroopers and engineers as the main squads
How old is this footage? All the models and uniforms are all outdated.
