Exactly two weeks out from my cataract surgery (about a level 1 cataract). Had my eye measurements taken and 6 months later decided to have surgery using Clareon Vivity extended focus. Will have 2nd 1 month f/u July 6th with doc. Can read up to arm’s length, but distance is blurry. I can see better in a distance with the eye that has cataract! I asked doc about astigmatism and he said it was small enough it wouldn’t make a difference. Praying I don’t have to fine tune lens or have a piggyback lens. Hesitant to have other eye done if distance vision isn’t improved.

Excellent presentation. I would like to know how you treat someone with nystagmus who also has cataracts. I was born with the nystagmus.
