My dad, 71 years old, recently had cataract surgery and the surgeon completely removed the capsule that would support the lens. He didn’t find out about this until he went to a lens specialist months later. It seems like the surgeon hid the fact they made a mistake or there were complications during the surgery and now he’s left with blurry vision. What are your thoughts about this? Does he have any options to fix this?
I had my posterior IOL dislodge recently and my surgeon said my only option was an anterior iris fixated replacement IOL … 3 months after my vision is still blurry and I get a lot of halos and glare so not a great result 😢

How soon after cataract surgery can a Yag Capsulotomy be done? and is there a risk of retinal detachment?
This happened to me retina detached lost my vision. Doctor didn't tell me what happened.
