What's the PC Build?
Can I please get that PC
Jesus Christ loves you
Absolutely he does.
But your People LIE about his Real Name and Ethnicity.
Jesus is a white man naked Cesera Borgia, painted by Michael Angelo, for a Pope, to create an Image of yourself, so that People would Worship whites as God's, fool people, decieve people into thinking Your Righteous.
His TRUE NAME is Yahawashi and he's not Caucasian, he 's a Dark Brown man, from the Nation of Israel, from the Tribe of Judah.
Yes, of course he Loves me,..Im 1 of his people, same blood line.....not you though, Yahawashi HATES YOUR PEOPLE.
Nuff said.
For people looking to play MW2 and WZ 2.0, I think it's worth mentioning that the Series S works great with mouse and keyboard for these games if you're having trouble with crashing on PC or you want to dip your toes into PC gaming.
Before actually going on xbox people should know that there is still no way to disable mouse acceleration.
@@yt_user1772
?
kbm on xbox isnt optimal
@@GameslordXY Mouse acceleration is usually bad because it messes up with muscle memory on how much you need to move your mouse to move your camera a certain distance. You can turn it off on PC
I think I’m one of the very few people that isn’t bothered with mouse acceleration. I barely even notice it in most games
The thing is even if a person only has $300 for a gaming device, adding an additional $200-300 for a work from home setup is now an option. Depending on the profession or work, you can add an extra if it will be use for work as well.
And if person is interested only in gaming and is poor and needs many months or a year or longer to save those 200 - 300 dollars , Series S can be very attactive proposition.
IF it had those 300$ for 600$ PC for whatever purpose , that PC,assuming person would know what to pick , that PC could wipe the floor with Series S and even X in most gaming scenarios .
You guys are doing this the incorrect way. The true budget way is to purchase an "ONN" android box from Walmart for $20. After that, use the Free GFN Tier with the FREE Games you've obtained through Epic Games.
@@MisterUrbanWorld 🤓🤓
@@GameslordXY If you're poor then you should keep in mind that console games are more expensive and playing online costs a subscription fee as well. If you like playing online and playing the latest games then chances are you're better off with a PC, even if you paid more for it initially
Another thing that people don’t consider when calculating gaming pc costs is that IF you are building it yourself (which I think everyone should because it’s so easy).. you don’t HAVE to buy all your parts at once. You can easily just buy each part as you can afford it until the whole system is ready to go
Actually the series S was just on sale at target for $250 with a $50 gift card so essentially $200. But when you factor in that you have to pay for Xbox game pass, and the fact that the PC is a PC and there’s thousands of free games on steam, I’ll go PC.
Assuming you can find games you wish to play on your own and/or with your friends among those games, by all means .
Also , Series S console is included within Xbox All Access subscription while PC is not .
That's a great deal.
@@GameslordXY Um actually no you can pirate any game your heart desires a console will never defeat a pc end of story, and lets take it even further can your shyte box play ps3 psp vita nintendo switch my pc can.
@@Allious131 yeah some of us have money so we buy games. Plus I like to get achievements.
The series S is really portable and theres free games on xbox too...
I managed to build my pc for about $320 with brand new parts except for the gpu and case using Black Friday deals and promotions that Amazon had. I got the $99 ryzen 5 5500, an nvidia gtx 1650, an mAtx motherboard from asus, Corsair vengeance ram (16gb), a crucial P3 nvme ssd (500gb), and a cooler master master box Q300L. I did cheat a bit and used the PSU from my previous build. adding it to the cost would make my build $350. I also managed to buy the case so cheap using a combination of credit card points and a Venmo promotion on Amazon and it would have been even more cheap if I had completed the mail in rebate promotion coolermaster had for buying the case. I ended up buying the case for $18!
Corsair Vengence is expensive RAM.
Silicon Power has 2x8@3200CL16 for 41$
bought mine for $500 mix used and new parts
ryzen 2700
2060rtx super
16gb ram
500gb hdd
240gb ssd

Great vid as usual! Just some notes
7:07 Theres a performance mode for Cyberpunk on the series s, so the game runs at 1080p 60fps with FSR2.1
7:57 Im not sure where the number comes from, there are over 400 games only on gamepass, and between f2p, non gamepass games, retrocompat Im pretty sure there are a couple of thousands of games available for the series s.
The console is only compatible with 383 games, less than 400
Yeah the performance mode is amazing as well as in ac valhala and i think over time any titles that run on 30 fps will get an update for 60 and performance over time
@@RamSVermaOfficial those number are for current-gen only right? Not considering backwards compatible and games that are marketed as Xbox One titles because a different version wouldn't make a difference
@@RamSVermaOfficial hmm what no xone,x360 and some of Xbox games are way more than that lol.
Should be around 3000games with only xone games...
And don't forget emulation.
@@SaberKingofKnights1 bro, the xbox series s does even come with a port whatever it is called that stores games. only reason why its good is because gamepass. I use it on my pc a lot of times. The old games also suck tbh, i played them and they dont have good graphics which i expected.
You didn't mention the 60 FPS mode for cyberpunk on the series s. They had added it a little bit ago. Good job though.
It's there, but it looks so bad it's not even funny.
@TheGamerGuy1981 I saw it. It's not that bad. Considerijg a budget option, at 1080p, it's looks reasonable for the FPS gain. I can say, though, from the last time I've seen it, I'd hope the flickering has been removed.
@@Alpha117 Only the output resolution is 1080p, the render resolution is 900p-648p.
@@MrEditorsSideKick Dynamic res, on 60 FPS mode sure. Out of the box though, it's a solid little hard to work with machine. Nice grab for under $250.
@@Alpha117 I agree that it's a great value, just correcting your comment. I'm a PC only gamer so probably gonna pick it up just to play GTA 6.
Fantastic video. Pointing out the pros and cons for both the Series S and PC is something you rarely see nowadays and is helpful for someone who might be getting into gaming for the first time. Personally I have a PC and a Series X because of some interconnectivity that Microsoft is slowly adding but regardless of which you choose if you are on a budget and pick either you will have a good time! Overall well done.
Probably, but I think it's unfortunate he forgot to mention that playing online is free on PC, whereas on Xbox that will cost you plenty over the span of a couple years
@@Thornskade Thats fair but if you end up getting gamepass that pretty much nulifies that.
@@DiamondMiner-zt3sg No, it doesn't.
For one thing, GamePass is also on PC at a lower cost due to not having the cost of online included (you need ultimate for online) and for another, you get free games on PC all the time, especially from the Epic Games store with two games each week, which you also get to keep forever
@@Thornskade I know what I was saying was for $15 a month you almost don't really need to buy games and you don't need to worry about having to pay for internet access.
@@DiamondMiner-zt3sg Okay, and for zero dollars a month you get eight games completely free guaranteed from the Epic Store, free games from IndieGala every week, as well as free games from GOG every sale. GamePass is not an excuse for paid online, and like I said, GamePass is cheaper on PC without Ultimate
I initially bought the S mostly as emulation machine, but with the small ssd and lack of bluray drive for older xbox games it really killed the deal for me. I ended up returning it and getting an X.
I have an Xbox one original it does that. But bought the series s also for newer games. It's like having a series x lmfao 😆
Plus I have two older Xbox 360s and a PC.
@@Bakedea87 Yes well Xbox One games work and look better on Series X and S consoles .And load dramatically faster .
Buying a series x is much better if ur not in a tight budget. You have the option to buy cheaper games by buying physical disks. Which in the long run can actually save more money. But if u only play gamepass games, then I guess it's irrelevant.
Grumpy Wolf Gaming - I Also use the Series S as a Emulation machine in addition to gaming. However, I just use an external USB SSD or HDD to store my Roms. I have terabytes of ROMs, so the internal Storage inside the Series S and X Would NOT compensate for the amount of Roms that I use for emulation. That amount of Internal Storage would ONLY APPLY TO PCs.
@@deagle7602 I agree with your statement on the Series X saving you more money. Buying used discs and getting buy one get one deals from stores for games works a lot better.
I upgraded from a Xbox Series s to a PC with an Rtx 3060 and I love this decision.
The Xbox Series s served me well when graphics cards prices were too high.

Love your channel. I always look forward to when you post. 👍👍
The form factor, price, and performance of series s is impressive
The Series S has the advantage here. For $250-$300, you get a controller, the use of MS Gamepass, backward compatible titles, and the ability to use emulators up to Wii.
Dolby Vision and Atmos, Also much smaller a quieter than a $500 PC. X marks the spot!
Can it play nintendo switch ps3 and xenia xemu and psp vita also, 😂😂😂 hell no the xbox will and always will lose. Up to wii we are surpassed wii sir we are even futher then wii we are at the early stages of ps4 emulation fuk outta here.
@@Allious131 With that belligerent post of yours, no one will take your arguments seriously.
@@PulpVision Why wouldn't they unless they have mental problems like you thinking your console can beat a whole pc. The only people who wouldn't take it serious would be someone who's dysfunctional enough to consider a low powered device to be the equivalent of an upgradable pc with interchangeable parts.
@@Allious131 Well, "genius" the topic is about a "$300" PC vs an Xbox Series S. And for a PC to run high end emulators like Switch, etc you need a good GPU that costs roughly over $150, then there's the Cpu that is roughly a hundred give or take. So spare me your PC OVERLORD bs. You're the one that's deluded if not plain dumb. I think the latter. BTW you're blocked 🚫
Never used game pass till this week lol and hooking my controller to my iPad Pro and playing forza 5 and stuff is so nice haha
on Series S
Cyberpunk has 60 fps perfomance mode (and it doesnt have any fps dips),and its not really a big difference between this and 30fps quality mode, theres also cod mw2 which has 60fps quality and 120fps perfomance(which still looks stuning)
It’s called gsync
@@Tatoebot
No it's not.
It's called VRR .
That being said there is also FSR2.1.
I am unsure if they can be used both at the same time.
I’m a lifelong PC gamer, but I have a new baby so just need something I can play for an hour or two on the sofa, and something that just works out of the box. Series S is perfect. £250 will not get you this level of performance without loads of effort.
You forgot to mention the Series S does have some productivity being that it has a full fledge web browser and it supports mouse and keyboard on it. Meaning for the vast majority of students and non professionals they can get by with it as an option.
you can’t run word or powerpoint on a xbox
@@obye yes you can, the web versions
This is the feature I like the most from the series s. I like to order car parts and then game a bit. The best of both worlds at a reasonable price.
@@obye you dont even need it. since i finished highschool, some years ago, i don't even have office isntalled on my pc. its useless to me lol.
@@Worthless. i would never recommend anything over a computer. merely stating missing information in the video
Would be nice if these gaming companies came up with away to trade digital games now that would be a game changer.
Robot Cache on PC allows you sell digital games you bought from them, if you're interested
Personally that doesn't matter to me since I keep all my games, but the option is there.
Nice topic, good job!
Cyberpunk runs 60 fps on Series S , looking good. 30 fps quality mode also looks stunning , 0.0 fps drops
The series S is a bit better than he lets on, I know he did praise it but it’s actually a very powerful machine for the money. The game devs optimize the games to run the best they can on the series s and with PC’s you get a generic set of settings and its up to you to adjust to one of the 225,000 possible hardware configurations out there.
That’s a pretty huge factor to think about and people often neglect this while commenting on the Xbox. I love the Xbox because you know every game is optimized for the specific hardware. I love my Series S
Yep I'm 48 and started on a Commodore 64 PC, then kept going through the years as PC's progressed, built them etc. Got soooo burnt out on them. So I stick to consoles now. The series S is great on a 1440p monitor, and I have a Series X and PS5 as well. I rarely use my PC for anything but work. To much hassle!!! Also the PC ports are 90% CRAP optimized. @@mojojoro123
So between the video and the comments here I think the point is it just depends on your use case. Keep in mind while a pc carries with it alot of freedom and potential alot of people just want to play games and have them work. They don't want to worry about work around for windows live games or retro pc games that won't launch but they bought them. Just buy what you want
in my experience, using steam basicly removes any need to tinker.
@whyami I've had plenty of issues with retro pc games and steam. Particularly the first knights of the old republic on my laptop, but the second works fine but everyone's experience is different on pc. Had plenty of issues in steam deck but that linix
Nice video, I'm curious where you got the info that the Series S supports 400 titles? Excluding Series X/S optimized titles the consoles directly supports the entire Xbox One library natively which is over 2,900 titles not including Xbox and Xbox 360 titles through backwards compatibility, so claiming it supports 400 titles is seriously underselling its library.
I think from gamepass
Great video, thank you.
One big advantage of PC gaming as well is things like mods. Mods are great. Also free epic games and not having to pay for online both reduce the cost of using a gaming PC compared to using a console so that price one or two years into use might look very different.
There are Free games for Xbox.
Oh I am sure PC has more, but most are some indie games most players aren't very interested in.
Anyways heavy discounts on consoles are nothing new.
Console is also more stable.
No random driver problems.
On my first PC,there were so many problems poping out of nowhere.
I almost gave up on PC gaming.
Decided to give it one last chance.
Switched from AMD RX to Nvidia RTX
So far smooth sailing.
Series S is also often cheaper than 300$.
For now.
@@GameslordXY OK yes, there are Games with Gold but it isn't exactly amazing. I don't remember ever getting Borderlands 3, the Tomb Raider reboot trilogy, GTAV or many of the other AAA titles that Epic Games have given away free. The best thing I remember from Games With Gold is Portal 2 from the 360, after series S/X had been out for months. Both platforms also have free2play games yes but neither really has an advantage their. My point was more that the fact that the PC platform has competition in game distribution on that platform means that once you own a PC, using it is better value than a console even if buying the hardware in the first place provides more value to the console.
Most mediocre pc’s are 1100 plus. 300 dollar series s leaves you 800 for all subscriptions which is at least a couple years worth if not the entire life span of the console
@@GameslordXY try 240 rn
@@AutoFroggy so Xbox live gold is $10 a month right? That's $120 a year. If we assume a (very) lowball figure that you get at least $60 from free games on the Epic Games Store in a year that's $180 every year which puts the difference at, by your (quite high) estimates, a little over 4.5 years all while you get the benefit of mods, better emulation if you're into that, other non-gaming apps and a platform you can upgrade and keep with you into the future.
I've got a Series S and it's insane for the money, really impressed with it. Been wondering how it compares to a similarly priced pc
They actually lose money selling the consoles. It's extremely good for the price. They bank on making you their slave so that you routinely pay for their xbox pass monthly and invest tons of money for legitimate games. Same price PC will always be worse but it doubles down as a work station and you have free roam to install anything you want including pirated games for example.
Quick question, what end up happening to those PC you build? Do you sell them?
I have both but I do play on my consoles more. I like the portable compact size , my PC is mainly for multiplayer online and media viewing, switch for exclusives, and Xbox for new first party games.
What do you do for a living to afford all that?
If you're going to build a budget pc I feel like 700$ is the most minimum you can build for if you want a ok gaming experience other wise if you don't have that budget just get a console
One big thing you forgot is the amount of sales you get on PC. Most of the games I own are free from Epic. Plus the rest I got on big discounts on steam. Ubisoft also gives away games for free sometimes now Amazon prime is also giving away games.
And of course there's piracy, but of course you can't endorse that.
This compares a current generation console with much older generation pc parts
I like how this guy compares new xbox series S to a custom built PC using used parts.
If you are comparing a PC built using used parts, with no keyboard and mouse compare it to a used Xbox series S, which sell for like $200.
If you want to compare new xbox series S, with warranty compare it to a new PC
Is it wrong that I now want to build a new rig with an integrated console? lol
Have a great weekend! :)
My thought exactly!
Integrated console?
You can save even more by going with a older workstation like a hp z230 or z400. Quad core 8 threads with a pretty beefy PSU to support a decent GPU. Picked up one for 50 bucks and dropped a GTX 1070 in it.
Great video by the way that's The main reason why I would buy Xbox is for emulation of older consoles like PS2 I heard it's a beast at that
Series S can be had for less than $250 for the holidays. You get better specs, lower price, warranty, and ease of use.
Comparably priced PC wins if you want to do more than gaming, but that's self built and taking a chance on used parts.
pc is just better, spent like only 150 more than the series s and get a good midrange, the series s isnt even a next gen console anymore the graphics are mid asf trust me i had one and switched to pc
rtx 2060 now can be bought for $200 plus u can do more than just gaming
@@1Percentt1 I don't believe a $300 dollar PC can output better graphics or performance than the Series S. Hell, I've even seen the price drop to $200-250 around Christmas. I think the console is a great bang for your buck.

Why did you benchmark Borderlands at Medium settings to try and match the console version? It uses mostly high, some medium, one low settng, and a couple of ultra...
Dont forget they sell consoles mostly on loss. Actual cost is higher then MSRP. They Make profit on after sale services.
At $300 or even $500 you aren’t likely to beat a console. They are just too new and prices have been crazy. At $750 and taking into account you will pay less for games, be able to upgrade for less, can do more with it than a console, it starts to make more sense.
Don't start beating console until around $1100 sadly
@@Reczo
You are wrong.
To match or come very close, you need 750$ or so with legal Windows and peripherals.
So appoximately 600$ to come very, very close to PS5 without Windows and peripherals.
Ryzen 5 5500(less then 100$)+2x8 3200CL16(41$)+RX6600(usualy around 215$ , though sometimes below 200)to come very,very close.
In MANY cases it shall actually beat PS5.
RX6650XT is equal or possibly slightly better than PS5.
Sometimes it can be purchased for 250$ or less.
R5 5500 shall probably use 80% - 90% out of that GPU at 1080p.
At 1440p probably a bit more.
At 4K,the GPU is a bottleneck,so 5500,5600 or 5800X3D,there shouldn't be a MASSIVE difference.

Forgot the cost of the monthly subscription required to play online with Xbox over the course of its life. Now you afford your $600 pc.
Over the course of its life?
Giving extra 300$ at once and giving little by little per month is not the same thing.
Simplicity is on console's side.
No Windows bs.
No viruses.
No ransomware.
PCs and Consoles are not interchangeable, PCs have extra uses compared to Consoles, however a budget pc at under ~600 will usually perform equal to, or worse than a console in gaming. I only recommend budgeting on a pc that low if you’re getting a really good deal, plan to upgrade, or your doing more than gaming.
I would liked to have seen a smaller more living room friendly case.
Thank you so much for explaining why a computer is the better option for computer purposes with the ability to play games whether or not it runs maxed out or at recommended settings. Console gamers always argue that a budget PC can't even run specific titles at blah blah vs the series s/x, but obviously for everything else needed to be done in life (school, work, etc), a budget PC or gaming is the better choice.
well just get a cheap laptop for work and school (you can carry it around) and get xbox ss for gaming and entertaiment at home
Average mediocre end pc is right around 1000+ rn, series s plus 5 years of the subscription is the same price and by then your mediocre pc will be outdated while the new Xbox’s are close to if not are on par with 3090’s rn
Common sense use your brain and look at specs he lied
@@AutoFroggy the new xboxes are no where near close to a 3090 lol. Maybe a 3070. my series x runs lower quality 4K than my pc with a 3080ti. Also the Xbox will be outdated too. Like remember last gen before new gen came out. They were struggling to run games .
@@brianj1r144 about that, it's very hard for consoles to be considered "outdated". There are still games like GOW ragnarok that runs so good on the ps4 with great graphics. And don't underestimate the optimisations for consoles. If you build a pc with the same specs as the ps4 for example, it would run games so bad, they're not even playable at 720p low settings most of the time. Devs can use black magic to optimize console games, one old example is gta 5 on ps3, that mf had 256mb of ram+ 256mb of vram with an old ass cpu and gpu, yet rockstar managed to make the game run on it. One last thing: ps4 was already outdated at launch, but this doesn't apply to ps5/series x at ALL. If I'm not mistaken, when those consoles came out, rtx 3000 series weren't even sold, so expect a long ass life expectancy for them

for me being a guy who built a high end gaming pc last month and had a xbox series s since august it comes to no surprise that i choose PC gaming over xbox series s. I'm not going to talk about performance as its obvious pc will be better at that front depending on the build. But what i will talk about is how much games you can play on a PC. From old gen gaming to new games and even some playstation games its a no brainer to buy a pc. But the price of a pc can differ to 2000$ to 600$ depending on if you want a mid ranged or high end pc.
I'm actually in the middle of doing something very similar | only missing my GeForce 1650 gb gpu for the finishing touches (Dell Optiplex 9010 SFF i5) | my next build will be a i7 or i9 with an even more powerful gpu (next year) - I currently run a gtx 210 1gb and I am able to play titles like Fallout New Vegas and GTA San Andreas etc (dx10)
I got a t1700 MT with a i7-4770 and put a gtx 1070 in it a 500gb ssd and a 1tb hdd and bought all the parts for it for around just $260 its my very first pc build cause im just 16 but it works great
GTX 210💪
@@phenom... 1650 💪🤙👍
I used to be a PC gamer, I know it's better. But now it's more about comfort for me.
about the pc opening windows and programs with a modified windows 11 software you can use the series s as a pc
forgot to mention the developer settings
Another thing worth considering is that one you buy games on pc you can always use them unlike some console games where you would have to buy it on your next console too and once the console is outdated you will have to buy a new 300 euro console but on pc you can spend about 150 to upgrade it
Yes, PC's game compatibility and inheritance are very good. I have some ps3 games, but I can't play them on ps4/ps5. And PC I can even play games 20 years ago
i got a 400€ pc with mostly used parts, any comments ?

Solid PC pretty decent price. Little light on storage is throw in a cheap hardrive and no worries
Very decent PC.
It's approximately Series S level.
No doubt it crushes Series S in many scenarios, since Series S often has games capped at 30fps,while PC games are all unlocked .
good enough i cheap out on my mobo and psu and mine was $500 with rtx 2060 super and r7 2700
You said that the Xbox series S only has a library of about 400 games, but with backwards compatibility, that number is over 4,000.
Add in emulation with retroarch you got over 10,000 playable games now
Did you factor in the cost of a Wndows 11 licence for the PC? The console comes with a free OS of course.
"upgrade it and customize it" yeah maybe one day you'll get that back IO panel ;)
“the next gen consoles are affordable”
*the PS5*:
It's still much cheaper than a PC with comparable specs.
@@_ProBro_ it's cheap but you still can't find it also it got price hike of 100$
@@superboss7403 yeah ur right but relatively, it's much cheaper.
@@_ProBro_ Wrong. You can build PS5 matching or beating PC for 660$ - 750$ or less if you know what you are doing.
All new parts with Windows and peripherals included .
IF you go with grey market Windows , that is 100$ less .
Ryzen 5 5500+RX6600 will match or beat PS5 in many games .
R5 5600 is much better and nice to have , but with that GPU will not bring significant advantage over 5500 and that is 35$ or so to save when you are looking to spend the amounts as low as possible , while matching PS5 specs .
PCIE4.0 SSD is not required.
Cheap 1TB PCIE3.0 like Silicon Power A60 is more than enough.
And there are PCIE 4.0 drives for like 65$ .
They should work on that motherboard even if that motherboard is just PCIE3.0 .
On paper not nearly as fast as PS5 drive or Samsung 980 Pro that many seem to recomend for PS5, but in practice , it makes no difference .
Take a look(Copy/Paste from PC partpicker . Everything id double for whatever reason... )
Motherboard is far from amazing , but it does not matter .

This is a 51 games benchmark with RX6600 and Ryzen 5 3600.
That CPU is FAR more popular and has far more benchamarks , but it trades blows with Ryzen 5 5500 , so it can be considered as valid example of what 5500 can do on average .

Regardless of motherboards I placed in this rig , something of better quality would be highly recommended .
@@GameslordXY bro the rx 6600 is definitely a good card but the ps5 is just bit more powerful. Enough to get 4k in most games (albeit it's either dynamic or checkerboards) but it still gets very close to 4k at 60. For example games like fortnite run at a locked 60at 4k max settings and 1440p 120 at max settings. What u said is definitely correct but in places like india(where I live) graphics card prices are high and a console like ps5 is a much better option since it's half the price of a pc with those specs.
The last sale at Target for the XSS for $249 + a $50 gift card was a STEAL imo
I thought they came out with a patch that let you play Cyberpunk at 60FPS on the Series S?
The size difference is definitely a factor for anyone
I am pretty sure gamepass alone has more than 400 games (if you add EA play to it). The series S number of compatible games should easily be 1000+. PC would still have an advantage in the number, and older games will run better on PC since you can configure the setting however you like + modding. But the number of games on the series S is much higher than 400.
i assure u pc has more than 1000 options to pick from wayyyyyyy more lmao
Pc we also get Gamepass and ea play.
@@all-in9365
There is several thousand games compatible with Series S + it can emulate many non-Xbox systems
You can always debate what is better bang for the buck. Pc is always higher upfront, but no subscriptions/often cheap or free games, and CAN have much higher potential performance. That said the magic of pc is the ability to tinker/adjust things to make your personal curated experience, modularity for upgrades, and a larger game library than either major console spanning 20+years. Not to mention, you can do almost any task on a pc.
But are you actually going to do those tasks on your pc? No one makes you buy the subscriptions on console it's only your decision to do so. Game library may be huge but are you actually going to play all of it? Tinkering things may become very annoying since you might find yourself doing it more often than just actually playing games. Performance may be awesome but you paid a lot for it and you also have to tinker around graphics settings to get the most juice out of your pc. Upgrades are cool but consoles also get upgraded by getting new generations.
You can buy cheap games everywhere if you find a way to do so..
Also I doubt you're going to actually play all of the free games that are available on PC. Theres a lot of trash on steam. And yeah I know that epic games store was giving out some cool games for free but most of them were trash and their launcher is bad. Not to mention that the load times of starting up the pc, waiting for windows to load with drivers and other programs, waiting for launchers to start up or get updated, waiting for games is taking up some times when on console you just open the game and that's all. Yet after installing programs you have to disable auto start which for some reason is being enabled automatically and in pc gaming theres just too much tinkering required..
@piramidonium load times aren't really an issue on pc anymore since ssds are becoming mainstream. It really just depends on what your needs and desires are. Consoles have a very curated experience, but with pc you make your experience. Also yeah I do play some of the free games they give out. They've had some solid ones. Not to mention pc fills in the gap of what are often xbox/Playstation exclusives. Want to play God of war, but have an Xbox? Too bad. Want to play halo, but have a Playstation? Pc has both.
@@yt_user1772 PC > Console. No argument.
@@aboveaveragebayleaf9216 Yeah I agree with what you said but load times still needs to be fixed on pc. Especially all these launchers that you need to just run certain games is annoying.
Basically what I wanted to say is that if you don't need much hassle then your choice is a console. If you want to tinker with windows, graphics, settings and etc. then pc is obviously your choice.
Tho if I were to choose between xbox series x or ps5 then I'd choose either xbox series x or a PC. PS5 became useless since the console`s exclusives are coming out to pc. PlayStation Plus subscription is way worser than xbox game pass ultimate and ps5 doesnt even have the web browser... the ps5 is hella expensive and just basically not worth it. The only thing you might lose is cool ui and dualsense(tho u can get full support of dualsense on pc).
@@markus5237 In terms of graphics and fps yeah.
Just got a PC a couple months ago & man, it’s been great. But I still enjoy console too
It's great how good consoles are this generation. If i knew how good the ps5 was going to be i wouldn't have a pc right now. For me the great thing about it is the ease of use and the fast loading times with the SSD
If you are going for second hand part for the PC, you can do the same for Xbox series S. You can easily find a second hand series S for $150-200. Also, the PC you've build has a CPU slower than the one on series S|X. And since console set up the benchmarks for gaming, that PC won't run upcoming games that are developed with only current gen consoles in mind.
Oh how misinformed and ignorant you are.
@@benedictjajo What an Irony my friend. You are the one who's ignorant and has absolutely no idea about computers.
If you're comparing console prices with pc you must include the 60 bucks a year console tards pay just to play multiplayer
Yeah I know right. Series S is new in every component but that PC he build can only compete with used and older parts. I would like to see a 1 to 1 comparison of new part on the PC side. Including the price of mouse and keyboard.
The games for pc are much cheaper as well
That depends, Xbox has weekly game specials and some deals are really good, although for sure on PC they have good deals as well all the time on GOG, Steam, etc..
@@markh351 or just get a pc then get game pass on pc
@@DelayEdits That works too. 👍
I'll say this, if you ever video edit or do any digital content as a paid professional/side gig, the PC will pay itself off. I spent a good chuck of change on mine but pulled in more than double my first year of owning it
How'd you make that much money?
I would pick the 300 PC because you can upgrade it later.
But Look at the ps4 or Xbox one, after almost 10 years they are still good, and many people still have them and use
@@gibiel.og.p but playing games on them was horrible near the end of the cycle.
Kinda going about this a bit weird, I would have gone with an x99 xeon combo for ~65-75 usd with 16gb of ddr4 ram in dual or quad, a radeon rx 6600m (specifically the risc 51) for ~160 usd shipped, a 512 nvme ssd for ~30, then a case and psu with the rest. Relatively the same budget, and approximately the same performance overall.
would appreciate ANY text with specs as I scrolled through video and couldn't find anything. Can't understand info without visuals :(

On lowest settings perhaps
I rather go with a pc, cant make music on a console, edit videos or even play older games and mod new life into them
This is a great starter pc with an even better upgrade path
you should do an xbox series x vs a 600-700 dollar gaming pc
That pc did not cost $300. That case alone is close to $50-$80, the power supply is at least $120+ if I'm being generous since that's an evga brand that are going for $200 minimum. So when we add the cpu ram, etc you're well going over $300+
That case is $40 and PSU $70
@andrew AtsV again, even with those number you'll still hit over $300+. The mobo value has even gone up today since its not available in major retailers anymore but even so, at current msrp the PC will still go over $300+. Also idk where you get that number for the case since many of them don't go that low. They'll be losing on shipment fee. Free shipping never means free. Js🤷♂️
@Don W bruh a psu at that range? Good luck with that longevity. There's a reason why some psu go that cheap (most likely not even gold). And yes PC part picker further proves me right since it bases current msrp total from major retailers. Saying taking time & shop i would assume you start going into eBay, fb marketplace, etc. This is where you now bring more risk, no warranty, etc.
you could have got an xbox s for $250 during black friday, and you most likely will be able to get one for the same price this holiday season.
$250 to play games vs $350 to play games that stutter, "you can do other things on a pc", yeah not big applications you need a proper pc for that, other than that most people already have a computer at home, a phone, laptop... so this "you can do other things on a pc" argument is a meme, nobody is going to be interested in joeys low quality content that he creates on his $350 computer, and 98% of people are primarily interested in gaming.
Sounds like a console bias to me. Should we talk about upgrade paths?
If games are all that matter, then the one with the most games wins.
Emulation tips the scales even further. PC Master Race, baby!
Actually on Amazon the series s went as low as $200 on Amazon
@@bloocheez3 im sure the 6,509th played game on steam or wherever is a banger, im sure the majority of console players are sad they cant play space wars evolution 3, in all seriousness most players are fine with the game selection on consoles and will never play over say 250 games
My xbox 360 and ps2 will always have a place in my heart for introducing me to gaming. But going to pc i havent looked back and learned a lot about hardware and I enjoy tinkering and upgrading my pc. I also like to browse the web and use discord and I cant have that experience with a console. And nowadays almost most xbox games are on pc and sony is bringing remastered games to pc!
In cyberpunk on the pc you could always use fsr
Where can I find the complete pc build?
Wow, my pc runs wit a i5 3010 and 1650 super, just couldn’t handle WZ2. I got the Xbox series s and holy shit I was missing out, performance is great!
"Affordable"

Does the Xbox S have a cloud option to pay for and can I just buy any external hard drive? Thanks!
300?
My PC's fans only cost that much 😅
You can also open Microsoft word and all of them on your series s through web browsers so it is good for productivit. I play K&M on fortnite at 120fps on my series s no problems atall. But if you want to go down the streaming /content creation route then of course a pc is the one you would go for
Hey I hope you factored in the cost of the controller with the Xbox.
then again, you could get a dell optiplex for $100, a GTX 1050 TI for around $80, and then you'll have around $120 for other things like case customization, games, or maybe a new SSD and RAM
1050Ti is rubbish compared to Series S .
Well I guess it depends on what one plays, but when it comes to their total capabilities,Series S is much more capable.
Case customisation of Dell OptiPlex is a thing?
OptiPlex has upgradable RAM?
Cool,if so .
kinda want to get gaming pc but because of where i live and current living situation i cant have huge gaming pc
Whats the name of the pc case ?
What is that keyboard model you used with the PC?
Any usb mouse/keyboard will work
What Do u use to show the temps and fps for ur pc builds?
Looks like MSI Aftereburner
I have a Series S hooked up to my PC monitor (1440p) and it looks and plays great. And I have my older PC with a 1660TI, with a 6core I5, and 16gigs of DDR4 RAM. I rarely use it though, PC's today are a pain in the arse. Also if you own a digital library like me, and no longer use tangible media there are thousands of games on the Series S. He's just talking about Game Pass. I have a Series X and PS5 I barely touch, mainly for Netflix or psyhical movies. And a good old One X. I also have a Steam Deck which is good for laying around and wanting to play something. So yeah the SS is definitely worth it, got mine in the $ 269 bundle at Walmart. I had a gift card a also got a new Laptop, which I really needed (not for gaming). So yeah I have WAY to much tech lol.
can u pls put the computer parts in the desc thanks
Used pc can be very good price. But hard to know if all the parts will last.
Picked up a series s for just £50 😮 absolute steal! however it isnt perfect though needed cleaning....... due being around a heavy chain smoking lunatic cleaned it and runs like champ!! i have 1k gaming pc and i still love this little console best bang for buck out of all consoles hands down.
at least put some timestamps so we can go straight to the benchmarks ...
I have a good gaming PC (3080) and I just recently got the series S, and I do not regret it. It's fun, great if you need to travel it's so tiny, and if you play any EA, Ubisoft etc games you don't have to deal with their annoying ass launchers, especially EA's god awful one. For the price, it's in sane value especially when you take game pass into consideration.
CP has a 60fps mode in XSS.
