glad it is back open but it's a shell of it's former self it's more of a amusement arcade with only a couple fighting arcades to play certainly gonna draw a different kinda crowd from what used to be, more of a family fun crowd than die hard comp gamers
Looks like they also took out the Super Puzzle Fighter II machine that was there when I was in that area in August. I don't really go to Chinatown often, but when I do, I just go to the fried dumpling place and I usually ignore CTF. Another issue is that the Initial D machine that they had there under the old ownership is gone. However, the Neo-Geo cab is a decent addition to the place and I might want to check it out again in that case.
They do have a steady clientele and the after school kids keep spending money there. I haven't been by there on the weekends but when it gets warmer more will come out.
It's nice to see Chinatown Fair up and running again but it just doesn't catch the vibe of the old arcade scene it had back in the 2000s. This place is more of a casual arcade spot, nothing different from what I see in Dave and Busters around my way. It is under a different management so it's understandable. The Neo Geo Cabinet is the only that that really caught my eye.
Yea, I know some people rag on this place but seriously you won't find anything like this since El Dorado might be gone in Coney Island due to Hurricane Sandy.
I have been there a few times after this video was filmed, if you look at the date of this video it was uploaded on January 12th, 2013. I am well aware that we are also coming to the end of 2014 too.
TRue but that's what most arcades of today have come down to cause they also need to stay in business by having those kind of machines in their establishments.
Nice, great to see this is still alive! Thanks for sharing man.
yooo lgr
Very cool man. All the arcades I'm my area have closed except for one. Nice to see someone else trying to keep the tradition alive
Very cool, thanks for showing this off. I thought this place was closed down for good.

Hell yea always awesome to see arcades come back. Hopefully we'll see more like this. Thanks for sharing Sid ^_^

It's a nice spot to check out for fun Mark, you should check it out the next time you are on Holiday within the area.
lol they still kept the tic tac toe chicken on the front sign. That one was a classic.
It was closed for a minor period but it has been open since last summer from what I was told.
Always good to see an arcade re-opened. Hopefully it says that way!
Do they have a IIDX machine in there now?

I was in there like 2 months ago... To be honest I was a bit disappointed but great video that you got!
Definitely a place to check out when in NYC! :)
I really hope my town gets an arcade center once again...
I was here today. Love DDR. It would be fun if they put up Project Diva Arcade.
Not a problem sir, thanks for watching this. I know you are into the arcades as much as I am. = )
As long as people wanna play games, Arcades will still have a place somewhere Louis. = )
No problems Tommy, thanks for watching. = )
Awesome. I am glad to see its still alive.
I know, I was there yesterday and it was still out of order which really sucks. I was looking forward to playing it.
that place has a ton of new games. Don't know how anyone can get enough biz these days to afford them but time will tell if they manage to survive
Awesome place, if I ever, ever head out to the NYC, Brooklyn area, you gots to take me there, get down on some Marvel versus Capcom 2!
That's a shame, I know it's not like it was 20 years ago but there's still interest in it as long as it's in a good location.,

yeah, from my understanding, it has a lot less emphasis on fighting games
Yea, they should add 2 of not 3 classic cabinets from the 90's in there really.
nice I remember I play street fighter 4 in that place coool
but better they get old 90s arcade machine
i still go there every day
Chucky Cheese has a couple of good games from what I saw a couple of years ago at one near my place by the Atlantic Mall.
Yea, I know some people rag on this place but seriously you won't find anything like this since El Dorado might be gone in Coney Island due to Hurricane Sandy.
Yea, I do remember it there a few years back.
Thanks Boocie, I know it's not the old place but still it's ok.
Where is it at manhattan, bronx, queens, brooklyn where?
If you look the ABOUT section... all the information is right there.
not bad if you are into 90s style arcades
soooooooo sad why it doesn't have WMMT =(
It 2014 and now the arcade look a lot different than

I hope so too Mike. = )
I've never been here, but I couldn't notice the sign: "World Famous Dancing and Tic-tac-toe chickens". Umm.... what? hahaha.
I live in Delaware, and I want to road trip just to give this place business.
even in your wildest dreams you could never beat me in galaga llao :P
Both of those are gone sadly... sucks!
Nothing wrong with seeing an arcade, they may be dying but as long as there are a few around, that is all I care about.
Scout areas and see what you find sir!
I have recently did a walkthrough of Two-Bits Retro Arcade and Barcade if you searched through my videos.

Fo sho bro, I'm down for that!
Looks decent but not enough arcade machines to really interest me. I hate those redemption machine, they seem to have taken over classic arcades.
