The second half of Danger Days is waaaaaay better than the first half, imo. Summertime, Kids From Yesterday, Save Yourself, Destroya... you will either hate Destroya or think it's a damn mastahpiece. Vampire Money is their F-you to being asked to make a song for the Twilight soundtrack. It's kinda like the "Teenagers" of the album in the way that it doesn't really fit with the theme, but it's still so fun and irreverent that that doesn't really matter. I'd recommend it, but hey, do what you want, I can't blame for shutting off after a mediocre first half.
Jaden Warner I feel the first half gets better with repeated listens, also I feel like he was a little harsh on party poison. (Not that that has anything to do with your point) You’re not wrong though, I’m really disappointed he didn’t carry on to Save Yourself. I feel it’s the turning point of the album for me.
i completely respect mcr for making an album that they obviously had fun doing and it’s sad that people feel like it’s the worst album ever. like i enjoy a couple of songs on this album purely to dance around to and nothing else it’s FUN
rebonka I genuinely love this album I’m not sure if it’s just from the nostalgia from listening to it but I don’t think I’d say it was a terrible or even bad album then again I don’t think there’s any work mcr has done that I’d say was genuinely bad
When you look up Gerard' interviews from the time MCR released this album you can kind of get why it wasn't a GREEEEAT album like Black Parade. He was like "yea, we're grown-ass men, we have wives and kids, we gotta make something people don't expect a 30-something band to do" and came out with this dancy, pop sound. It's a good album, it's not genius but it's pretty good and it's AWESOME at parties. That said, I think the concept is what actually brings the song together. It gets so much better after you read Gerard's comics.
Just feel like they had no way of following up Black Parade. Like When that album ended it felt like the band had accomplished its purpose. I sorta forget about danger days cause it sorta dampers MCR
Honestly Brad, you look like you stayed awake for like five days desperately listening to The Black Parade to keep you up. Jesus Christ, get some sleep. The dark circles around your eyes are making you look emo af.
I really enjoy anything with that punk revolutionary feel to it and I think a lot of people labelled MCR emo early on despite them not liking or relating to that label and expected the same sad gut wrenching stuff, but this album gives a more energetic and positive optimistic idea of a revolution, which I personally appreciate more and more as I grow older. It's that thing of when you had miserable company when you were miserable, you don't want that company to get better and happier either because you become comfortable in your sadness. Something that people also do with a lot of characters they get attached to whose arcs they then hate
@tornado4376 Or maybe the old albums just sound better, and that's the taste of the fans who enjoyed Three Cheer and Black Parade whereas Danger Days isn't? You're overcomplicating things and doing armchair psychology. It's music, if people don't like the sound, they don't listen
I don’t really get why everyone said that you will hate the album, maybe I have a bad taste in music but I always loved it. And I always loved everything connected with it, the concept, the story, the universe it takes place in, the comics and the characters. I love watching your reactions, although our opinions are different most of the time. But you point out things that I didn’t think of before and you always have a reason for the things you say, positive or negative, and you explain that reason and it makes me see things I’ve listened to for years from a different point of view and I like that. Also I don’t take it for granted that you keep dealing with us emos. I know fans can be toxic and annoying and that makes me appreciate your content even more.
Danger Days is an acquired taste. It definitely can't be appreciated on the heels of The Black Parade because they're so different, but its high points are stronger and more poignant than anything else they've written. Summertime and The Kids From Yesterday are unironically fantastic. You should listen to Conventional Weapons too.
It's a fun inoffensive album. Summertime and The Kids From Yesterday I genuinely love, everything else is just alright save a few misses. Not as standout as Three Cheers or Black Parade, but it seems like MCR had fun making this album, and I had fun listening to it (for the most part, I still think Bulletproof Heart and The Only Hope For Me Is You are boring as fuck) It''s funny cause i think all the best songs are backed into the later half of the album. S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W, Summertime, DESTROYA, The Kids From Yesterday, and Vampire Money are my top 5, and they're all in the 2nd half of the album. I completely get why people don't like this album, the pop sound is quite different from the rest of their discography. I had fun with it though. Definitely haven't come back to it as much as Three Cheers or Black Parade, but I get enjoyment out of it. I'd probably give it a 6/10. Also I haven't listened to I Brought You My Bullets, so I can't really say how good or bad it is.
These people want Brad to just be an emo reactor. Now that he's done this, there will probably be comments asking to do Bullets or another P!ATD album (most likely Pretty. Odd.) They did the same thing with Twenty One Pilots, Brad started with Blurryface and ended up listening to their entire discography.
You'd wish, but considering how for the period of time between his Black Parade reaction and his Three Cheers reaction, basically every video he put out always had a few people asking "Three Cheers when?" or variants of that, I don't think they really want to give it a rest.
I think the spam happens because everyone comments "React to X" without seeing the comments first where someone else has already requested it. A simple poll could help lower the spam massively, and he should mention the polls in his videos.
The aesthetic of this album is one of the most pleasing ones, i think. Their others are so dark and sad where this one is just neon, dance parties, and dystopian governments. I freaking love it. It's just fun to listen to
This album is just FUN I mean if you made something as sad as the black parade and you lived with it along with the album for so long you will get tired of it. That made it to enjoy more it more than to make another amazing album
This album was a huge contributor to why they broke up, actually, Brad. They had such high reviews from The Black Parade and they were so popular, that they didn't know where to go from it. The stress and pressure of trying to come up with something good enough to follow up The Black Parade got to the members, especially the lead singer, and he started having massive anxiety over it and the reactions of the fans. He said he started feeling scared to go out on stage and perform, and after he got off, he'd have panic attacks back stage.
I'm a massive My Chem fan but I do have a lot of mixed feelings on this album, I don't think it's as terrible as some people say but it's definitely not great. Some of the lyrics (especially Sing) seem cheesy and like you said, generic. Gerard said he never saw My Chemical Romance going past the Black Parade and that it felt like a natural end for the band, so this album was probably a little forced from them and you can kind of tell. (Really enjoy all your vids btw)
You have no idea what you're talking about. Danger Days is a completely different kind of music, and its high points are even better the TBP's. Gerard said that the original message of MCR had been expended in TBP, he just found a new one after that. You're quoting a half-remembered soundbite that actually takes away from what you're saying.
@@franciscobaltazarlabranago6248 idk, man I know he's right on everything he's said about the album even tho I actually like Danger Days... but if Brad doesn't feel like reviewing an album, he should't do it. If so, he's being the one thing he criticize the most: mediocre.
@@zach2042 But Brad likes MCR though, he loved The Black Parade and Three Cheers, he was only kinda weary cus he saw mixed reviews on the album, but I think he was at most curious as to what this album was like. I can see from Brad's reviews that he never reacts to an album he thinks is gonna bore him (at least the TøP albums keep him interested), which is probably why he still hasn't done Danger Days part 2
I’d agree but this after he gave glowing reviews to The Black Parade and Three Cheers, so he at least has some perspective on how he’s coming into a review
okay i love my chem and i listen to danger days on repeat because i love the concept and the story and i've read the comics and everything but i definitely agree with you with the whole generic thing because with the story that they have behind danger days they could've done so much more to tell the story through the songs, introduce the characters, etc... but instead they choose to do that through dr. death defying and it annoys me a bit but oh, well... now i'll just sit here and wait for part 2 to see your reaction to destroya eheheheh
Honestly I just really wanted to see if you liked Planetary GO! or not lmao. I agree that the album is pretty decent compared to the others and has some filler in it. Personally I like Danger Days but more for the concept over the music; the music loosely discusses the concept but it's sort of hard to understand *what* that concept is without looking at the comic or music videos that come with this album and that's what hurts it the most. Like, if you removed the filler tracks of Dr. Death then you'd literally have zero understanding what it was about aside from one or two things here and there. (even with the Dr. D tracks its still sort of convoluted). Can't wait to see part two of this though, the final track is definitely something different lmao
The bass line to Bulletproof Heart is so catchy. I always catch myself playing it because it's just fun. I used to not like this album but it has honestly grown on me to where I really like it now. I just like loud and energetic stuff.
It's a lot more enjoyable if you know a little bit about the comics Gerard wrote that accompany it. It's fun and a little cartoonish. Sometimes, I'm in the mood for that. I love hearing other people's opinions though.
This album is actually a grower, especially when you pay attention to the concept. Sure, it's not the black parade, but it's different in a good way, it's a 'colorful' album as opposed to the dark and desperate undertones of the previous album. So it helps if you view it from that perspective, because it's almost as good as the black parade.
That whole speech about them going crazy and burning out because of all the hype I think is exactly what happened. This is their last album and I think what Brad was talking about explains why it was there last album perfectly. The Fans at least partially killed MCR.
Wow I honestly thought you'd like Party Poison. The rest of the album is better in my opinion, I think you'd like S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W, DESTROYA, and Vampire Money; I'm not sure if you'll like The Kids From Yesterday since it's almost 6 minutes long.
As an mcr fan , i totally understand. Danger Days is by no means a bad album. Is it as good or groundbreaking as the black parade or three cheers ? Obviously not. The thing is that most of those tracks sound okay , and i can enjoy them quite a bit ,idk if it's because my brain desperately wanted me to do so or i just got used to them , but it's okay music from good musicians. The problem is that they don't grab you by the throat and say : LISTEN TO ME. Also i agree that the lyrics are a bit meh but i thing the concept and the electronic elements add some creativity to the whole thing. Also , the point you made at the end , is very accurate ( from what we fans can tell) . Gerard , after the black parade said that he felt that he didn't have much else to offer creatively , thus the long hiatus , but they were pressured by fans and i'm guessing the label to make new music, and i think it shows. Oh btw Brad , you make great ,diverse, content , and i hope more people enjoy it. Thanks
one thing i will say, songs like destroya and vampire money DEFINITELY grab u by the throat and say "LISTEN TO ME" cuz wow, those songs are incredible and chaotic as fuck
Props to brad this dude is brutally honest and it may be painful to hear what he has to say! But..... he dose stuff like plugging other smaller you tubers and he just has an overall good personality.
Thanks for all of your reaction videos--I appreciate your honest, if not brutal, outlook on some of my favourite atists/albums--it helps me see them in a different light, I guess? If anything, I like the alternate insight, especially from someone who is so invested in and passionate about music. It makes me go back to albums I've had on repeat for years and think: why do I like this song/album again? And I rethink my love for them and, sometimes, I remember why I love them so much, and end up loving them even more with a much fresher outlook. Other times, I note that the criticism directed at it holds it's own, but love the album anyway--it makes me feel, I don't quite know how to articulate it, but I guess I wilfully overlook the bad points because I really love the good points? And yet, I appreciate that I can acknowledge the bad points, somehow? I don't know, whatever. I guess what I'm trying to say is thanks, and I appreciate it. I think your videos are the only 10+ minute RUclips videos that I manage to finish, and I still feel like they're too short (believe me, it's a first for me). Anyway, I was wondering, could you react to Motionless In White's album entitled 'Graveyard Shift'? I'd love to hear your thoughts on it!
Danger days is such an interesting album cause when I heard it the first time I thought it was pop generic stuff too. HOWEVER, I changed my mind after a couple of years, and know I LOVE IT. I can appreciate it for what it is, it talks about social problems, about hope, about protecting kids. But they do it in a fun way, you can dance to it cause it is light. I feel like this is like when an actor does a superhero movie after becoming a father. But also, this happens a lot with rock bands, when they hit a huge success with a previous album everybody critics the next. It's not possible to keep the fandom interested in every album. This is not as generic as you think, its softer, lighter, happier, different. But it has a lot of flaws, I agree.
MCR really wanted to make a concept record with this one but the lyrics are far too simple and not as deep as TBP but I really do understand why, they didn’t want to make it too depressing because they already did that with TBP. The Only Hope is a song about death from two view points. One of gerard’s personal life and how he chooses to move forward from witnessing the 9/11 attacks and the other one from his characters from this concept album that are dying from their own issues. I think the more you listen to this album the more it grows on you to be honest. I used to hate this album but as an adult now I feel really glad it exists because it’s easy to listen to compared to TBP which is so haunting it can bring your mood down.
You overlooked it tbh. Me personally, i think this is one of their best. right after three cheers, they had a lot of fun on this album and i think its pretty 2010. It was a good way to go out, very different from their first.
Billy Cobb i wouldn't actually call myself a fan of MCR bc I only listen to the songs on the black parade album with the exception of like 2 other songs
Totally agree with you, Brad. DD is kinda boring. I never really listened much to that album, unlike TBP. I think the way to describe it is, TBP is meant to be THE storybook, while DD is like a soundtrack to a story, it definitely helps to build the vibes and all but it's not the main thing. I guess watching some of the music videos + getting some visual would help tho. I really dig the art direction & concept of the album, but no so much on the music because it sounds generic & boring as a standalone
This album basically describes brad, we badgered him for weeks asking for this, and then he made it... and we got what we deserved... pls don't quit brad =(
Unfortunately this album's story it's trying to get across falls very short without the aid of the accompanying music videos. Long story short the album is about a dystopian future where the world is run by a stereotypical evil corporation. The "Killjoys" referenced in the album are essentially rebels who are fighting back against corporation BL/ind (better living industries) is trying to kill. The 4 main characters in the music video are also part of a fake band called "Mad Gear and the Missle Kid" for which MCR also wrote some songs under. Gerard even wrote a small comic book series about the story and characters presented in this album which helped jump start his now VERY lucritive comic book career writing for DC.
I'm laughing my head off even not watching it yet, because you will absolutely slaughter this. Ima huge MCR fan and therefore love this album not only because I know the story but because it's fckn friggin awesome. No idea why I haven't watched ur review as of today, but maby because sawing of my legs and arms aren't my biggest pastime, that might be it. :)
I agree that the album is mediocre. The main reason for that I think is that they didn't intend to make another album after TBP. They thought they had said and done everything they wanted to as a band, but the record company was pushing for another TBP. They had an album in the works about a support group of parents grieving their dead children, but they decided they didn't want to give into the label's demands and scrapped it. Danger Days is a result of that. It was almost like a fuck you to their record label bc they went in a completely different direction from TBP. You can tell their hearts weren't really in this album though. I think there are some heartfelt songs like The Kids from Yesterday and Vampire Money (basically a "fuck Twilight" song). Gerard always seemed much more passionate about the story as a comic than an album.
I personally love this album for the concept and lore, but I can definitely respect that it is very much an acquired taste. It’s fun to listen to when you don’t want to have to think about deep lyrics. Just upbeat and happy, but still kinda emo.
how the fuck would that be in a good way? they scrapped the album because it wasn't good. If the band members themselves couldn't bring themselves to release it then how can you expect Brad to like it at all?
Purplepentapus157 Sorry, I just wasn't sure if you were joking around in your comment or not. But god, I don't think Conventional Weapons was that bad. Frank even said in an interview, “To kill the misconception, I don’t think the songs we wrote before ‘Danger Days’ are bad songs by any means. In fact, I kinda think some of them are among my favorites we have ever written. A lot of them are kinda fucking rad… they just so happened to have been created in the wrong place, at the wrong time, and we as their parents were not ready to raise them just yet… and so they sat and waited.”
Well as much as I like the album and I love some tracks from there I have to agree with you in some of the criticism you made specially about the generic sound of it, BUT what is amazing about this is the whole universe that is created with this, also the way it was promoted as the characters created from the album interacted with the fans, the teasers, the aesthetic, all the real history that the band went through after tbp to this.... it was just awesome
Seeing The Tune Up on here was a pleasant surprise. Tbh I’m a little disappointed that you didn’t make the bottom of the rating scale A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out, missed opportunity!😂 while I love that album, joking about it helps me smile through the pain😂
My favorites are Bulletproof Heart, The Kids From Yesterday, and S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W. Yes, the album is different from their other ones, and it's a lot more optimistic, but honestly I really like it and its clear they had fun recording it and seeing what they can do with the sounds. I respect your opinion tho!
whoever the people recommended this to brad, theyre evil people I mean, they do know brad doesnt like music that isnt explosive and loud. This album is really just for chilling.
Another thing tho, I think the fact that Gerard's idealistic vision of never seeing MCR going past TBP definitely took part in why DD feels like it's missing something. Plus they scrapped a whole another album (ps it sounded closer to TBP, title is Conventional Weapons) for DD.
Love the personality. First video I’ve seen of yours, your editing is the kind of goofy cluttered mess I can’t look away from. (Compliment.) Very good vibe. Probably the only person I’d ever hear say “Screw you your music taste is trash, and that album you love has one, maybe two songs worth listening to in full.” and still earn my like and subscription. Hope three years later your current stuff is same vibe. Or maybe you’re a CS:GO drama and commentary channel by now and that’s what you love doing. Who knows and who asked me I’m just a random guy spending time commenting on a three year old RUclips video the verdict of which I disagreed with while yet enjoying the content enough that it didn’t matter. Anyway you do you and if you want to do something different than you did these three years ago when you made this, no problems there. Everybody’s gotta grow and change or whatever. Anyway #2, all this flattery and encouragement and whatnot was a ruse all along! A clever ploy to deceive you into reading this far my friend, my victim, you fool. Bump this video and bump you ya dinglehopper, your taste in music is poor, you would benefit from chilling out and genuinely enjoying something for a change it seems, and your lack of patience was more frustrating than the advertisement you let your friend put at the beginning of the video shilling your views to his channel. I hope you one day got enough sleep.
A+ editing...I love it so much. Respectable that you did not completely disown the album like most people, but I think you analyzed, perfectly, why people did not like this album. I know you like more explosive sounding music to listen to, or at the very least something interesting that keeps your attention, so I think you might enjoy "The Canyon" by The Used. It's their most recent release (2017), and is musically the most interesting thing they have ever created. The album also has the most emotional meaning to their lead singer, as it is mainly about how his best friend of like 30years committed suicide. The first song is definitely just an homage to his friend and is just a slow love song that makes you super sad, but the rest of the album is super interesting with the effects and actual music. If you read this, thank you for all of the amazing content you have been putting out/will be putting out!
A lot of people are saying it, but if you're recording a review to an album and you cant even sit through the first half of it without skipping multiple times, then don't upload the video. At least listen through everything on the album fully THEN say you hate it, dont just listen to less than half while skipping and stop the video. You're saying there's no connection between songs yet you're not even listening to the songs to get the concept that's there.
As a MCR fan you hurt me, but I get your point, and nowI undrestand why my brother shares the same opinion as you. Even if is not the best album ever, and their songs are not the best, that doesn't mean somebody needs to hate it or stop listening. Sometimes when I listen to the album I think that some songs are better than the new ones by of those cringy new artists.
Fantastic, real honesty. I love Mcr, this album has a feel of nostalgia for me and I enjoy it, it is generic and overall easy listening. part 2 isn't required, you are right it continues it's generic feel although imo the best two songs are yet to come, but that's because of the time and place I listened to them and not so much the songs themselves. Your editing is some next level shit, and I appreciate the time you put into it, I make a point of watching your other content even when it is albums im not nornally interested in. Keep doing you. Hours - Funeral For A Friend give it a listen even if you don't review it, i think you'd enjoy it, remember at the end of the day, sometimes it's good to listen to music for music's sake, don't make listening to it seem like a chore or you will lose one of the best things this world has to offer. peace and love.
I can't say if that álbum is kinda generic or not, cause the place where I live the popular música is Brazillian Funk, and I know that álbum is really different from the others but that still good (my first text in English) imo, of course
Marianne Carvalho It has a fantastic concept when the videos are added in, and it has a good sound. it just lacks depth in places, there isn't a song I would skip past if it shuffled on though. And your English is pretty spot on, I wish I could write in a second language.
I think that My Chemical Romance really has a fantastic concept too, just like you said, and is really funny that one of thoses MCR songs get the chance to be a hit song where I live. I didn't heard all of they music, cause I want to have more to listen if I want to, and after all this time I still thinking that band is really good, even when my brother say to leave the band die (he also used to heard MCR songs when more younger). And I did a English Course for a couple of years, but i don't finish it because that was too expensive, and if you want to learn another language like Portuguese, you should try Duolingo.
Marianne Carvalho the black parade by my chemical romance is my all time favorite album. listen to a band called Biffy Clyro they are from Scotland where I am from. I'm sure you will like them. and I will learn Portuguese so I can reply on your language 😊
I will try listen that band, cause honestly I just listen PANIC! and sometimes MCR, but I need new bands. In my opinion, I like almost all of those albuns, my favorites songs are from Bullets, The Black Parade, Three Cheers and a little bit of The Dangers Days, I like how the theme is really cool. MCR is such a good band, I hope they back, I know that will not be the same, but just if they really want to do this, because that band I knew the Umbrella Academy comic by Gerard.
YOUR SUPPOSED TO WATCH SUNSHINE, NA x13 AND SING BACK TO BACK BUT IN MUSIC VIDS ITS ALSO A COMIC BY GERARD IT KINDA KICKED OFF HIS CAREER IN UMBRELLA ACADEMY
Look Alive Sunshine leads in to NANANA so that lack of build up is because you skipped the build up.

Yup when he skipped a track he lost all credibility to me and I just stopped the video after about 20 more seconds.

You'd wish, but considering how for the period of time between his Black Parade reaction and his Three Cheers reaction, basically every video he put out always had a few people asking "Three Cheers when?" or variants of that, I don't think they really want to give it a rest.
lucas fortier I mean, it’s what you would expect for a first album. Good overall but not s whole lot of variety
I think the spam happens because everyone comments "React to X" without seeing the comments first where someone else has already requested it.
A simple poll could help lower the spam massively, and he should mention the polls in his videos.
holy crap, brad’s getting everybody to advertise him. artv, spectrum pulse, the tune up. it’s only a matter of time till fantano’s in a video
Fantano gave a sort of a shout out to him, in one live where Brad donated 5$
till he advertises Fantano
Now he has more subs than all of them
People hate it because it’s not about death
sammy 1433 no because it's gay
TheLucianoDavid The gayer the better
TheLucianoDavid could be gayer
But, like, this album is the one where most people die, it's about a freakin war, at least one entire city is destroyed (S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W)
@@Hanex94 gay things make everything better
The album was set in 2019 btw!

I'm praying to have this one big Killjoys Japanese Dance Party at the strike of 2019
VaeCarrotCat can i come?
I now actually want a worldwide MCR Dance Party. I already tweeted about, #Killjoys2019DanceParty
VaeCarrotCat my god yes
The aesthetic of this album is one of the most pleasing ones, i think. Their others are so dark and sad where this one is just neon, dance parties, and dystopian governments. I freaking love it. It's just fun to listen to
Sometimes I like you, sometimes I despise your guts.
There is no in-between.
i’m in the despise area right now, it’s my second fav album behind tbp
This album is just FUN
I mean if you made something as sad as the black parade and you lived with it along with the album for so long you will get tired of it. That made it to enjoy more it more than to make another amazing album
The entire world doesn’t deserve Brad at all.
We don’t need him either (i’m kidding)
IKR
Nicole Rogers the world doesn't need you
I don't even like danger days but I'm so offended you don't either

My Chemical Romance Album by Album
Bullets: I’m dead
Revenge:You’re dead
Black Parade: We’re all dead
Danger Days: SUPER JAPANESE DANCE PARTY 🌠🌠🌠
This album was a huge contributor to why they broke up, actually, Brad. They had such high reviews from The Black Parade and they were so popular, that they didn't know where to go from it. The stress and pressure of trying to come up with something good enough to follow up The Black Parade got to the members, especially the lead singer, and he started having massive anxiety over it and the reactions of the fans. He said he started feeling scared to go out on stage and perform, and after he got off, he'd have panic attacks back stage.
IM DYING IF BRADLEY DADLEY HEARD DESTROYA I’D CRY
I'm a massive My Chem fan but I do have a lot of mixed feelings on this album, I don't think it's as terrible as some people say but it's definitely not great. Some of the lyrics (especially Sing) seem cheesy and like you said, generic. Gerard said he never saw My Chemical Romance going past the Black Parade and that it felt like a natural end for the band, so this album was probably a little forced from them and you can kind of tell.
(Really enjoy all your vids btw)
I agree. Any band would feel inadequate trying to follow up an album like Black Parade. It just can't be done.
Nah i actually love danger days lol
Don’t review albums you don’t wanna review because your lack of interest is so apparent that it really reduced the quality of the video
Reviewing stuff like this is how he generates views and new subs.
Fucking hell, stop whining! You're just trying to find excuses as to why he doesn't like an album that you like, that's painfully obvious
@@franciscobaltazarlabranago6248
idk, man
I know he's right on everything he's said about the album even tho I actually like Danger Days... but if Brad doesn't feel like reviewing an album, he should't do it.
We should have Worst to Best: Nevermind
React to bullets, it's got more of what you like from MCR, it's not as polished as Black Parade, but it's not as watered down as Three cheers.
WiruSenpai Was gonna say this exact thing.
i kinda feel like he would hate it lol but i do love bullets
heckin killjoy I think he will love the instrumental but I feel like he will hate the vocals and maybe the lyrics
Lol he hated it
“FUCK GO BACK”
okay i love my chem and i listen to danger days on repeat because i love the concept and the story and i've read the comics and everything but i definitely agree with you with the whole generic thing because with the story that they have behind danger days they could've done so much more to tell the story through the songs, introduce the characters, etc... but instead they choose to do that through dr. death defying and it annoys me a bit but oh, well... now i'll just sit here and wait for part 2 to see your reaction to destroya eheheheh
Can't wait to see part two of this though, the final track is definitely something different lmao
one day the melon will be a part of this channel. then you'll finally make it
The fact that Brad skipped the best part in SING broke my heart a little
Brad I love that you got the tune up on here I love to watch both of you so much

Good to see the editing back
It's a masterpiece
This album is actually a grower, especially when you pay attention to the concept. Sure, it's not the black parade, but it's different in a good way, it's a 'colorful' album as opposed to the dark and desperate undertones of the previous album. So it helps if you view it from that perspective, because it's almost as good as the black parade.
HERE WE GO!!! 😁😁😁😂😂
The Tune Up hell yes my dude
CrankThatYeemo 😁😁😁
Sammy 'Cod' Winchester every kind. From MCR to Britney Spears, I’ve got it all 😂 there’s no specific genre I react to on the channel
That whole speech about them going crazy and burning out because of all the hype I think is exactly what happened.
This is their last album and I think what Brad was talking about explains why it was there last album perfectly. The Fans at least partially killed MCR.
All love and respect to you man! 😊🙏🏾
Some have called me that and worse for my opinion on this album 😂 I did like The Black Parade album tho! 🤷🏾♂️
Brook Kominek nahh, G is one of the sweetest and most honest music reviewers out there, he deserves so much love
Turnips Will Never Hurt You endless love to you 😭🙏🏾❤️ can’t thank you enough for those kind words
Brook Kominek people are entitled to there opinions. Alot of fans of mcr didn’t like Danger Days.
George Torres Jr. GEROGE I LOVE YOU FOREVER
The dancy colorful Danger Days is the only logical follow-up to Black Parade's concept of grief, death, despair and rage.
Thanks
Nah, Danger Days is an awesome album
Mike Gnk it's bad
All that matters is that Gerard and the rest of the band had fun with it.
one thing i will say, songs like destroya and vampire money DEFINITELY grab u by the throat and say "LISTEN TO ME" cuz wow, those songs are incredible and chaotic as fuck

I've never pressed a video so fast in my life 😂
For a moment I thought you had become black
Yeah I was like "??? Wtf this isn't brad" 😂
We don’t deserve this
Tagbootsies Xox No. No we don't.
three years later and i find myself wondering if brad ever listened to destroya 😢
* whispers *
Read into the story and it actually fits together
It's a storyyyyyyy
Glad he liked Planetary since that’s easily my favourite song on the album by far
“You better expect this is a two part video” - four years ago
react to some Paramore! they’re honestly a 10/10 band i think you may enjoy them
I really can't wait to see his reaction to Destroya...
WHAT THE FFFFFFF I THOUGHT THIS WAS A JOKE, HOLY BRADLEY
17:43 oh god what have you done. Half of these comments are gonna call you out on this one statement alone
I'm SHAKING GOD DAMN HIM FOR SAYING THAT HE JUST BROKE ME IM DYING SOMEBODY HELP MEEEEE
I WAS LISTENING TO DANGER DAYS THIS MORNING AND I THOUGHT OF YOU AND HOLY SHIT I'VE NEVER BEEN THIS EARLY
Good vid and all Bradley, but how about you re-react to every single Twenty One Pilots album until you like them?
Jaden Warner nobody can do that 😂😂
That's impossible because twenty one pilots suck
N O
idk why people here hate top so much i actually like them a lot
Did he actually not make a part 2?
Well i wasn't expecting this so soon from the last one.
I didnt even think you were gonna do it with all the spam tbh.
Also your editing is really good, just wanted to say that.
You overlooked it tbh. Me personally, i think this is one of their best. right after three cheers, they had a lot of fun on this album and i think its pretty 2010. It was a good way to go out, very different from their first.
(ALSO THIS IS POST APOCOLYPSE, THATS WHY ITS "TECHY". READ THE BOOK :)
Oml I am ready for you to either drag them or worship them.
I bet you were disappointed
Billy Cobb i wouldn't actually call myself a fan of MCR bc I only listen to the songs on the black parade album with the exception of like 2 other songs
Interesting crossover
Totally agree with you, Brad. DD is kinda boring. I never really listened much to that album, unlike TBP.
I think the way to describe it is, TBP is meant to be THE storybook, while DD is like a soundtrack to a story, it definitely helps to build the vibes and all but it's not the main thing. I guess watching some of the music videos + getting some visual would help tho. I really dig the art direction & concept of the album, but no so much on the music because it sounds generic & boring as a standalone
This album basically describes brad, we badgered him for weeks asking for this, and then he made it...
and we got what we deserved...
pls don't quit brad =(
5 years and he still hasn’t made a part 2
I may be a new subscriber, but when I saw both of my comments in your video I literally dyed, you are my favorite RUclipsr and I LOVE your videos.
Gerard even wrote a small comic book series about the story and characters presented in this album which helped jump start his now VERY lucritive comic book career writing for DC.
ppl hate this album because it doesnt connect in a story or about death and blood its just a have fun album to jump around and party
most iconic cross-over of the century, infinity war is quaking
Andrea Marcano THIS COMMENT 😂😂❤️🙌🏾
Gerard always seemed much more passionate about the story as a comic than an album.
the fact that there is no part 2 T.T
I personally love this album for the concept and lore, but I can definitely respect that it is very much an acquired taste. It’s fun to listen to when you don’t want to have to think about deep lyrics. Just upbeat and happy, but still kinda emo.
Conventional Weapons!!!!
don't fucking do that to him, for the love of god! they scrapped that album for a reason
Purplepentapus157 Do you mean thay in a good way or a bad way?
how the fuck would that be in a good way? they scrapped the album because it wasn't good.
OR B-SIDE
OMG HE LIKED PLANETARY (GO!) MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE FROM THIS ALBUM 😊😊😊😊😊
The lyrics arnt suppost to mean anything it's just a storyline to Gerard ways comic books
"that's why the band broke up"
why would you say something so controversial yet so brave
he's literally right tho fight me
My favorites are Bulletproof Heart, The Kids From Yesterday, and S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W. Yes, the album is different from their other ones, and it's a lot more optimistic, but honestly I really like it and its clear they had fun recording it and seeing what they can do with the sounds. I respect your opinion tho!
whoever the people recommended this to brad, theyre evil people
I mean, they do know brad doesnt like music that isnt explosive and loud.
I absolutely love this album. Its a different vibe from them but its still MCR and one of my favorites of all time.
You should keep going man, it kinda gets better
I found it boring at the first time, but it grows on you
Now I love every single song
Plantery was my first anchor too, I was so looking for. I did however like whole album as a concept, but I do get ur scepticism.
You should watch the music videos too, to get more context.
TheCool Geek the music needs to be good, it's not the message, it's about the fucking music by itself
I brought you me bullets you brought me your love honestly is one of the few albums I’ve ever heard that’s just broken my heart with how raw it is
8:05 Brad why you torturing us headphone users like this
A lot of people are saying it, but if you're recording a review to an album and you cant even sit through the first half of it without skipping multiple times, then don't upload the video.
He never made a part 2, must've hated it lol
a lot of what makes this album setllar is the videos. it realy helps convey the story. we should probably also tell brad that this is a rock oppera
YOUR SUPPOSED TO WATCH SUNSHINE, NA x13 AND SING BACK TO BACK BUT IN MUSIC VIDS ITS ALSO A COMIC BY GERARD IT KINDA KICKED OFF HIS CAREER IN UMBRELLA ACADEMY
it's so sad that part 2 video is lost, but DAMN i NEED to know if he liked ''Save Yourself, I'll Hold Them Back''
