Agree with most of your criticisms. Never understand why some fans prefer this over Vessel. It's literally just the songs from Vessel, but with worse production, or the songs that weren't good enough to get on Vessel.
One thing I will say, however, is that I think you lay a little too much into Tyler for being egotistical. Certain lines, such as those in Kitchen Sink and Anathema don't scream to me as him saying 'you don't understand me because I'm smarter than you' as much as 'you don't understand me because it's difficult to fully understand what is going on in ANYONE'S head'.
Fair enough if you don't like the lyrics either way though- I just think the 'egotistical' criticism is (for the most part) unjustified.

Be Concerned is garbage imo, it’s so plain sonically, and probably one of the worst examples of tyler’s vocals. Although i will say that Tyler’s two verses in the track are great lyrically (talking about doubting God while knowing that you don’t deserve him), the other features verse was so basic and provided nothing and was just extremely corny.

Fujihara San I don’t know, I feel like comparing Fever and The Black Parade is like comparing apples and oranges, they’re so fundamentally different from each other, from lyrical content, to compositions, to overall aesthetic. I feel like theatricality is really the only thing they have in common. I’m really interested to hear some things you think they have in common, though.
Ethan McReynolds i just feel one of the major things that made black parade so great was how intense it was and lyrics to analyze and fever has not as much but still this head banging vibe plus more lyrics to analyze imo, songs like build god, camiaso, london becken, and more that have completedly different meaning unlike most of black parade having a centrail theme of death, but all the songs have this same vibe on the album and no song feels outa place

Tyler says that has to do with purpose. Our life is centered around purpose, whats our purpose? he says that if you create something that only you understand then in your darkest hour, when you are trying to decide when to stay alive or not, if you think that you are the only person that can explain that thing then your purpose can center around that and you can find a reason to stay alive in that moment. So something happened to him at a kitchen sink where he realised something, and if he told you what that meant, then he wouldn't have a reason to stay alive in his darkest hour. So a kitchen sink is not a kitchen sink to him.

I'm a fan of twenty one pilots' music but I honestly live for these videos 😂 I know you said you won't do it but I really think that you should listen to no phun intended, even if you absolutely hate it. If you go into it with the mindset that those songs were written by a teenager who was just feeling alone and like no one understood him (which many people feel at that age) and that the production obviously isn't the greatest, I think you might look at it a little differently. I don't know, you'd probably hate it but I just really want to hear your opinion on it 🙈

Kyle Hill yeah, the same thing with "these lyrics aren't for everyone only few understand". it might be misinterpreted as "only smart ones will get it", but i myself couldn't fully understand some lyrics (despite the fact i listened to the songs hundreds of times) till i got through some shit. so you won't take the meaning if you can't relate. for me it was like: i thought i knew the meaning but it turned out even deeper. and it's funny for me when people say "that kind of music is for teenagers" cause when i was a teenager it's been so much fun. adulthood sucks lol

The real draw for this band is their live shows. Their music is very formulaic, but I've never ever seen a better live show by any band ever. They're mind blowingly incredible. They built this crazy fan base through live performances and just made albums because they needed something to play and sell at their shows. Seriously no joke, their live shows are incredible

There’s a reason it’s not an official album, i would have been fine with you just skipping all the repeat songs because as you discovered, they’re worse. Did you ever end up listening to the last couple of songs because Ruby and Clear are some of my favorites from this album (Dont bother with Be Concerned it is utter shit). Also I agree anathema as a whole song is garbage, but i personally really enjoy the lyrics in the ending though. Otherwise yea i fully agree with majority of your criticism( i just don’t really interpret some things sounding as pretentious imo), i really hope that when they produce a new album they actually have consistent music throughout, because they’ve proven they can make good music but are so lacking in keeping it up.

What I appreciate about you is that you've showed me the reasons for why not everyone likes the same things. . Everyone listens to music differently. Ya know, for someone like me to be obsessed with these songs and not understand how someone can not this helps cause no one takes the time to explain. For you to not understand why people like this is reasonable. Especially with how much less these songs are than vessel. I myself don't like much from regional except for the tracks that weren't on vessel. And I like seeing them evolve. First coming in though, my first song being Car Radio, I thought it was trash too. I couldn't get behind his voice. It was distracting from the actual music. But then I got myself to listen to the words. And they were words, no matter how pretentious and corny they were, that I couldn't get out myself. They make sense to someone like that. While I myself am not upset with how you react, seeming how everyone has the right to do so, I think that might be the fact for some fans. That you may not completely understand what they are coming from when they say it's good. It's good causs it's raw and puts the mess of whats going on inside ones head into a reality that people might understandable. But it's songs like forest, and kitchen sink, and glowing eyes that do that as well as many other from self titled to blurryface.

Kitchen Sink is not meant to be pretentious. It's meant to show as Tyler has said, "the beginning of purpose is creating something only you understand". He's not trying to make himself look bigger. He is just providing an example of what had worked for him: creating his own personal meaning out of a kitchen sink. For others it could be different.

Honestly Anathema is trash, but Slowtown is so good though. My favourite from the album but Brad was harsh on it tbh. If the Vocals had just been polished up then I am willing to bet that he would of really liked it ‘cause that chorus riff is the best piece of music on RAB imo.
I honestly don't know why people wanted you to react to this, or why is has so much hype. Yes it has a few ok songs on it but other than that it isn't great. I think no phun intended would of been a better album to end the series. Yes, it's a high school project and obviously has a lot of flaws because of that. But I think you really get to see more of his raw emotion and where he came from. Even at 17 you could see he had talent. But yeah, i like your content and it's honesty. And, even as a TOP fan, liked this video.

So actually Kitchen Sink is a song about finding your purpose and not giving up on life, is suicide. Forest is still a mystery as to the true meaning which is something rare for an artist to be able to boggle everyone in their fan base. Lovely is about helping someone whom is depressed and feels worthless and making them believe they are 'lovely.' If you had finished, Ruby is about a girl from Tyler's church who had a mental illness (can't remember the name of it exactly), Trees is on there again but I will say that the last two songs are two of their worst songs. If you had paid attention to lyrics as well, you might have enjoyed it more, like how Car Radio is a metaphor for anxiety and depression or how Guns for hands is actually about Tyler trying to help his fans who are committing suicide. Call it corny, deep, philosophical or trash, Tyler's lyrics are deeper than yours and a lot better. Tyler writes to make people happy and to help them get through their struggles; some lines may be filler but most of them have a deeper meaning. Like how I bet you can't tell me the deeper meanings of songs like Ode to Sleep, Heavydirtysoul, Holding Onto You or Implicit Demand For Proof. I'm not triggered btw, I just haven't ranted in a while XD Have a good day frens.
Also, I respect your opinion and what you say is very true at times. I am a huge TØP fan but I know they make mistakes and not everything they make is perfect. However, sometimes what you say make you seem very ignorant and arrogant as you completely ignore half of the lyrics and the meaning behind them. I'm a huge fan of twenty one pilots, I've been to 2 of their concerts and I'm going to another in 2 months, but I also love your reactions to them. I love that you are so real about your opinions. I just wanted to respectfully just fill you in on some info about kitchen sink, as it is one of my favorite songs ever. I don't know if other people have already told you this, its after 3 AM, I'm not gonna go scrolling through the comments to find out. The idea of a kitchen sink is super symbolic to tyler in some personal way, and know one knows what. It's something that he wants to keep to himself as it is so personal, but he wants other people to be able to connect with that idea of having something to live for. And basically what he is saying is to have some reason to stay alive, even if its something you don't feel comfortable sharing with others, or if it's something that doesn't make sense to anyone else.
