Thanks... GREAT VIDEO... I need to replace a plank and I wanted to clean off some Gorilla Glue from another older plank... so you just hit two things for me. Thanks again and god bless.
Hey Joe! Your videos are always super helpful. I have a question on different scenario - what to do if one of the middle pieces gets loose on the end lock (there’s a visible gap) and you are unable to lock it again? Have you ever dealt with that?
As always Joe, awesome video. So clear, to see how it work. The flooring you helped me on 5 years ago is still looking great. But with this video, I wonder if we shouldn't start calling you the "Wood Surgeon"?
How well does the glue hold up if the floor is over a low or high spot with heavy foot traffic? what about glueing the back of the floor instead, for better hold?
How's it going Joe it's been a while, this is AKA easy to tips and tricks, (( Home improvement tips. Good job never give up because there's always a way always God bless bye for now Joe this is Ken
What’s the advantage of this connection system compared to the traditional tongue and groove? I can guess that if you need to replace a plank, it’s easier to rip up and put back down. Anything else?
What if it’s a few pieces and they are the delicate cheap pieces ? Not damaged but locked out of place and the glue a block down to tap back in won’t work ? That trick won’t work because they have overlapped with next row
hey Joe, i'm not sure if I need to remove some planks. Some water spilled under some planks from my dishwasher and I could see it coming through a little bit. Probably like that for half a day and the water comes through about a 2x2 section of planks. Do you have a rule of thumb for when water underneath might cause problems with mold?
I just replaced carpets with new vinyl floors. there's now a slight gap between the new floor and baseboard. how do you close that gap? I'm thinking of removing and reinstalling the baseboard lower then repainting the top but idk how to repaint or blend with old paint. any tips??
Joe, I’ve reached out a few times and haven’t received a response. I’m preparing to do my flooring and would like to sign up for the Laminate University, but I had a question about that before I do. What’s the best way to communicate with you for that kind of thing?
@@sothatshowyoudothat Just wanted to correct this for anyone reading through these comments. Joe did respond to my original email right away, but it got shuffled around in my inbox and I missed it! Anyway, I just got registered for laminate university and looking forward to getting started.

I can guess that if you need to replace a plank, it’s easier to rip up and put back down.
Anything else?
Good to know. Thanks.
Can a Viny plank floor that has been laid with h joints, be fixed? Without ripping out the whole floor?
Do exactly how Joe instructed. And you will get results that are as professional as you can get. Promise.
What if it’s a few pieces and they are the delicate cheap pieces ? Not damaged but locked out of place and the glue a block down to tap back in won’t work ? That trick won’t work because they have overlapped with next row
So you don’t recommend the tape (sticky side up) under the plank you didn’t remove sticking out to the plank you did remove? I hope that makes sense
Hey so what do I do if I’ve got a layer of foam underneath?

I so enjoy hearing the magnificent name Jesus in your videos. Thanks for your prayers and may God bless you for sharing your gift.

Quarter round to cover the gap or reinstall baseboards
Floor & Decor and LL reviews still coming soon?
Yes! LL Flooring is being released tomorrow and Floor and Decor is next week. I waited a week because of the holiday.

Joe how long do you think the gorilla glue last
for as long as the floor lasts.
👍
how much would you charge for something like that?
Just a flat rate - $150 or whatever you feel is fair. I would say $150 is on the low side.
@@sothatshowyoudothat thank you that's exactly what I had in mind
I don’t like to repair a piece of floor like that . You are suppose to take the floor apart and put it back together
You gonna take your entire floor apart to replace one piece in the middle of the floor. 🤦♂️
