That's a tough one! It was (and still is) a trope to use this song for morning scenes. I've seen it on ads for coffee, toast bread, cheese, and even the odd fathers day ad. Do you remember anything about the ad you saw?
I am not 100% sure but it would have been sometime between 20th November and 31st December 2006. My guess would be mid December just before Christmas of that year. The tapes were not labelled. EDIT: according to the website gibsoninternational, the 'Sex and Lies in Cambodia' broadcast in this compilation is dated 18 Dec 2006.
@@rugbyobsessedblokestudios468 I cannot be absolutely certain of the exact date but I can tell you it was no earlier than October 2006 and no later than the Christmas period of that year, based on the dates and promotions of the products advertised.
@@rugbyobsessedblokestudios468 I haven't seen a Firestone Direct for years, but I believe they still exist in parts of NZ. "Christmas clearout" would just have meant a Christmas sale.
Haha sorry if there are audio or video issues. Unfortunately this is taken from a cheaper VCR tape not intended for longevity. Some of these tapes were re-recorded onto many times and were deteriorating so there are some artifacts and oddities in the digital transfer.
29:16 oh how i miss the duck quacking at the end of his ads XD
Hey Old Zealand! Look up edvard greig morning mood song.. which ad used that song.. trying to find it haha.
