I just found your channel about a week ago , loving the content and how down to earth you seem . You seem like what we all need more of these days . Good honest people not looking to screw someone else over. I hope you keep cranking out videos
@@rockspowersports To be honest one of your videos just popped up one day in my youtube recommended to watch videos . It was one of your older repair videos too , I have been watching different Atv , sxs and RZR maintance videos the last little while so maybe that’s why youtube sent me one of your videos .
That’s a nice machine. My old commander was ridiculously loud and very hot in the cab. I installed heat\sound barrier on the underside of the plastics covering the engine and the whole floor . It was a lot of work but made a noticeable difference . Enjoy your new ride. 👍.
Love the riding video. A buddy and I are going out Friday to ride. You got me looking at buying one that yammi looks sick I love the paint scheme. It is loud af tho.
I had to adjust my 2021 grizzly xtr tie rods. Same issue as you are having. Hold handlebars to the left to go straight. Couple straight edges (6’ levels) and a tape measure and we’re all set. I bought it new and never noticed it until this year. Don’t remember hitting anything hard, but my wife has been driving it some since I bought a 2nd atv….
I was in lake Havasu, Arizona and saw people wearing intercoms in the 4 seaters driving around on the streets, is it really that loud inside! mmmm Thundercat just sitting there, calling my name, I hear you kitty, someday when the 400L is done with me. The Center display has lots of useful info! nice!
It really is that loud, at 30 miles an hour you need to yell loud to talk to the passenger. Going slower through the trails is tolerable though. Those 400L’s are good wheelers, I’ve had a few and still have one but needs to be fixed up.
@@rockspowersports I looked it up, and people do complain a lot about the Rmax being loud. I saw a guy put a 2nd muffler on and claiming it made it a lot quieter, and \or putting some sound insulation down, with my kids in there I wouldn't want it so loud for sure sitting at 6000rpm etc. The 400L is capable, but keeps having so many age related issues, every ride in the mountains I take it in, it always seems to break down, I just keep fixing it though. The Yamaha is pretty nice, really nice, and, its a Yamaha!
If I’m riding by myself I prefer an ATV but with the family this rigs pretty nice. We have a lot of dedicated atv/sxs trails that jeeps aren’t aloud on.
@rockspowersports Not a criticism, just a personal opinion. I completely understand they are good for the family. Didn't think about the trail restrictions. Less of an issue here in British Columbia.

Thank you, appreciate that. I’m glad to hear you enjoy the videos! Just curious how’d you find my channel was it the other Rmax video I did?

Super sick! The 2021 Color on those was awesome.
I really like it, I also like the blue they have on the newer ones!
My 21 grizzly is the same colour combo and I think it looks great.

Yeah the older Commander/ maverick’s were loud. I’d say this is just as loud but doesn’t produce the heat that the maverick did.
Awesome video man and nice machine. 👍
Thanks!

Awesome, have fun! My only complaint is the noise but hopefully I can get it down some.

When in doubt, blame the wife haha!
I’m sure it’s just an alignment problem, I’ll check it out soon.
Family hauler with the kiddo and wife deff matters on the decibel level most wife’s don’t like Loud anything haha 😂
Absolutely, gotta keep them happy..
I love the way the engine brake works. My Suzuki king quad is the same.
Noise is why I got ride of my 2023 LE
Hopefully the heavier weights and sound deadening material will help some.

Thanks, glad to hear it!
I got a question. Have you ever worked on a Yamaha Timberwolf?
Yes I have worked on a few.
Nice Rmax 4...like it.
That color is Nice ! if i was buying a sxs the Rmax / Honda would be my 2 front runners like the shorter wheel base
I considered the Honda Talon 4 but a couple people I ride with already have them and I like to be different.
Great video! I think i want to get a Polaris General next year!
I was certainly considering one!
Nice whip ! Just sent you a message about the foreman man really want to get on your list to have you go thru it
Where did you send me a message on?
I love this Yamaha buggy loke good
Weller racing outer scheve and clutch kit will do you wonder for cab noise. I wouldn’t trade my Rmax for anything on the market today!
Did you install their sheave and clutch kit? I considered ordering the whole shabang but just went with the weights for now.
@@rockspowersports yes I did the outer sheave as well.
Need the Yamaha yxz 1000 that shift gears
Should have one coming in for a repair soon.
Add more air in your passenger side tire up front...lol 😂
Actually if you Crack your visor we can hear you better love your videos keep making them
Thanks, I appreciate that.
Have you ever worked on a Kawasaki kvf400?
I have not, I’ve worked on the Prairie 360’s and 650/700’s
@@rockspowersportsah ok thank you
I'd rather have a quad or just go to a jeep. There is nothing about this vid that makes me want a sxs.

Could you change the clutch pack to get the rpm’s down? Or just bigger tires? Edit: sorry I just heard you talk about that
Yeah I’ll be swapping the heavier weights in soon.
@@rockspowersportsdo they make better aftermarket exhaust for that rig she sounds like a forklift 😂 aftermarket exhaust as in to quiet it down
It’s crazy that engine screams at 9k rpm
Yamaha warranty here in Canada on my stuff is 5 years mite be worth look same with there belt warranty is 10 years no question asked
Yamaha ATV warranty in the US is 6months unless you get extended warranty.
I bet that thing could wheelie with a couple big boys in the back lol.
Enough weight in the back and I’m sure it could.
@rockspowersports seats right over the tires too will help if/when you get stuck in mud with the family. looks like a neat rig
Arkansas Wavin
Build a big ass pole barn. Get that stuff inside. Spend 15k for a machine and let it sit outside 🤦♂️
what’s it make a difference they are built to withstand the elements lmao, they are trail machines a little rain little snow ain’t gonna hurt it
Time to sell it
lol
