I have a jg sd6 from TG and purchased a metal cyma sd silencer like the one that comes with this model. I added an acetech lighter s inside this and it works fantastically and is perfect for indoor cqb. Also able to fit a 11.1 nuprol 3 stick nunchuck within the handguard along side gate aab mosfet, should be the same size area as the cyma. Loving the videos by the way!

Hi you will find the hop up adjustment at the right hand side of the charging handle, You need to pull the cocking handle back and lock it in place and use the Alan key through the hole on the right hand side of the cock handle hope this helps.

When you have to tell yourself to calm down a bit, you know it was a worthwhile and fun purchase! Nice unboxing mate. The MP5 has been a fave of mine since I first saw one. Deffo on my list although that fire selector looked really cheap and kinda lets that one down a bit.

I picked up a CYMA blue edition and my selector was pretty gritty and a bit rough, the gearbox shell looks sand cast its a pretty rough surface, I have sanded and polished the shell under the selector plate and its now 100x better
There is a a couple of options. There is a claw mount that TM used to make that gives a raised rail to mount something on. I just imported one from taiwangun.com, I got the regular sd6 blue edition because I’m installing a polarstar jack in it but the gun itself was $130 and with shipping it came out to $187. In my opinion the cyma mp5’s are much better platforms than the umarex mp5 competition

For anyone who has one ? How's the build quality ? Does it feel solid ? I'd like to get the VFC one but it's hella expensive. If this one feels solid I'll settle for that one.
Im planning on getting one of these because i need a gun with a qc spring so i can use it for night ops. Nights ops fps limit is 310. For daytime here in the usa, 450 at 25 ft. 300 fps and below has no med. This means my 350 fps cyma aks74u is subject to the same med as someones lct ak47 ootb but not the end if the world. However i cant use it at night ops. I will also wont get the sd because i need a tracer. Still either way this thing rips on even a 7.4. Im currious if i can fit my ak 7.4 20c 1000 mah in it. It's short so it probablybwill work but i will want a nunchuck for a longerlasting battery
Hiya. The capacity (mah) just determines how long it will last / run the gun so the more mah the longer you can run the gun between charges of the battery. The C rating of the lipo and the voltage are what determine the rate of fire and how snappy the motor can respond to your trigger pull. The battery won't effect the FPS or range of the aeg. I am not sure if you know of the top of your head, but would it be possible to simply switch the sd6 handguard with an a5 style handguard or is the front sight assembly and such a little different?
Hello! It would need the complete front end as the SD versions have a front ring thing that integrates the front site. You need that ring to support the handguard otherwise it just flaps about. So swapping the whole front end would work a charm, not just the handguard unfortunately. Pheas
You know what, I am not always a fan of drum mags, but something about the SD version of this and the high rate of fire would work really well with a drum as an overall look. But just for the laugh of it! Pheas

I am not entirely convinced that it would hold up very well for very long, unless you were going to run it on semi auto only, then I would expect it should be ok. Would be interested to hear if anyone else has an opinion or experience. Pheas
It didn't look like there was anything missing off it to be honest. Plus I can't see they would have had to remove the hop to downgrade it. It's not all bad though, you'll see on Thursday when the disassembly arrives. It's just a bit fiddly. Pheas

Do you still have the box? And if you ordered from Taiwangun, you can chose your FPS to suit your area and they come with a piece of paper with testing of the FPS
Hiya, I think they are 25amp fuses. The reason I say this is because I have worked on a CYMA AK over the weekend and a CM.506 and both had a 25A fuse in it. So I would guess its a safe bet that its the same. Hope that helps. Pheas

Hiya, I never got the chance to use it outdoors, however the person who bought it said at first it was a little all over the place, he cleaned the barrel thoroughly and then it was significantly better and he was more than happy with it in an outdoor / woodland setting! Hope that helps! Pheas

hey, i asked a store about what 11.1v batteries they have in stock that fits in the compartment and they said that if i put a 11.1v battery in it, i will lose my waranty. did you upgrade the gun to receive 11.1v battery or is it ready out of the box to receive the 11.1v? i'm happy with the 7.4v rof but we all know we want the best out of our replicas.

They often put restrictions like that on the guns as the 11.1v will put more stress on the gun and cause it to wear out more quickly (regardless of internals) than on a 7.4v. the internals as standard out of the box will take the 11.1v but it's like any other gun they will fail earlier than using a 7.4v so it's weighting up what you want against the life expectancy and making your choice. If it was me I'd run 7.4v until the warranty has ended then do what I wanted after that. Hope that helps. Pheas

Damn, I was looking at getting a CYMA MP5 and I'm totally sold, for a sub $200 OOTB gun that's an incredible ROF and trigger response.
