Great Video Sir. I love how detailed you are on the RIF from outside and internally . Great to have some basic tech advice from someone who makes it simple and easy to understand. Keep them coming.
@@mehdib4871 hi mate it's a G&G mp5 1200rd drum mag, you manually wind it on the front but honestly it's mint. Problem with mp5s is even the high cap mags are only 200rd
There is 3 models of blue limited edition Cyma MP5's: SD6, A4-J (classic) and A4 RIS like this in video. Its solid gun despite price, and internals are preupgraded so you dont need to switch all of them doing tune. The only thing annoying is hopup chamber which I replaced by rotary hopup chamber (M4 prowin type). It performs very good with country limits up to 130m/s, no disadvantage against M4's and AK's
Hell Ei, i got the CM.041J BLUE EDITION a week ago and the hopup is driving me crazy. It's absolute shit. I am a mechanical and airsoft noob unfortunately and can't seem to find info on a good compatible hop up chamber to replace the ridiculous plastic strip hopup the gun came with. Could you give me the model of what chamber worked for you or any other hopup you would recommend for this gun?
I purchased the high speed version from Taiwan. Came in firing at 370 which is hot though expected. On taking it down it had no airseal. Damaged o rings on the cylinder head and as you mention a naff o ring. Swapping the o rings out. Putting in a decent spring and a o ring nozzle with a 11.1 I'm getting 27 RPS with decent accuracy (using a maple leaf bucking and omega nub.
Starting with airsoft and this is my first gun which I got today! Thanks for the detailed video, helped me to figure out how to open for the batteries. :D
O-ring on those Savia group (OEM for CYMA V2 gearbox) piston heads is a bit small. Change that out to a slightly larger one and you can get some more consistent FPS, but the larger O-ring could slow the piston down a bit. Play around with different O-rings and find the right balance. Everything else in these gearboxes is pretty fantastic for what you pay, but I would avoid the microswitch MOSFET-equipped units (like the CYMA platinum M4s) unless you're ready to replace it. That MOSFET board is utter garbage. Thank god it was omitted for the MP5s.
