I own an Arcturus M4 PDW and I love it, ended up completely kitting it out. Externals are now all changed completely other then the body and the gear box has been fully built. A little FYI, the gearbox is proprietary because of the microswitch they chose to put inside of it. If anyone is looking to build the gearbox out I recommend getting a Retro Arms E&L Version 2 gear box, fits perfectly in the gun and you can fit a gate titan, jefftron leviathan, BTC spectre etc inside of it like you would normally no problem. You can also buy a cheaper regular E&L V.2 gearbox but I did that the first time I built it out and the front of the gearbox gave out on me.
Really enjoyed your review mate, especially the gearbox disassembly, thank you! Down to earth no nonsense, decent reviews are rare these days. RUclips reviews by retailers plugging a (rubbish) product or poor, useless ‘reviews’ from youngsters let loose with a camera are just getting too common. Subscribed!
Ok, so from looking at it, the oem is the same as nuprol on that gearbox - I was told this was the case but had never seen it. That makes it a MASSIVE avoid! The semi auto set up with that trigger link is 100% the absolute worst design that has ever been placed into a V2 box, it's very prone to break down & wearing out quickly & just as bad, the semi lock that every aeg gets is the worst it can be with this system. Good video man, I know now to avoid these like the plague! Keep up the good work :-)
That’s a real shame! It’s the first one of this type I’ve come across and I was quite surprised by how different the internal are. I don’t know if it’s just me, but manufacturers are so obsessed with quick change springs they are making real incompatible gb casings.
I've just bought this gun. The only thing I've changed is Modify Flat-Hop bucking. This gun is really amazing. Everything sits thight and looks really good. I am really happy about performance and externals of this gun. Range is +/- 60m on 0,28g bbs. I will test it on heavier bbs, maybe it will be even better. Thank you for this review it helped me a lot to choose new gun.
Love a blank brown box my A&K K5 vector came in a brown box with repurposed foam inside that was for a M4 and cut for a vector, no owners manual or anything
Hey man I bought the Dytac SLR AK105 you reviewed a while ago and I gotta say, I really am loving it. Thanks for answering my question and doing these great in depth reviews. Liked and subbed. Keep it up man
I got a very early Arcturus Ar-15 but in 1j format for Ireland - the stock was rattly but I swapped it for a G&G which was perfect, but it didnt like 11.1 lipos, it would overshoot on semi-auto so you would get a 3 round burst even of you didnt like it. However ,I still think its a lot of gun for the buttons I paid for it.
A few of us got you on the airsoftology channel for helping us out so much, i hope you get some good reactions and more subs from it. keep up the good work!
Dunstano thanks mate, I really appreciate the support and it’s great to get a shout out. 👍👍👍 it’s awesome to see people enjoying the channel 😁 ICS MP5 coming up soon! I’m looking forward to that one.
BIGBIRDSAIRSOFT honestly the least we could do, you’ve answered questions I’ve had before and you’re always super helpful and active with your subs. You deserve the support!
Hello, another update on the replica. I've been able to play an entire day with it this weekend. It is a very plaisant replica to use (the best i've manipulated so far). It's well balanced, not too heavy, not too long so i could move quickly around the map. Reactivity wise, thank to the weird precocking it was very reactive and i really enjoy the trigger. The precision was quite good, however i only had 0.25bbs so the range was not the best on the field but it was quite good (mine is around 340-350fps). I could lift it easily with the stock hop up without maxing it. I found some 0.32g bbs, i'll try to test them today to see if precision/range is increased. Keep in mind that i have a rusty barrel. What a shame, if only the barrel was clean, it would have been even better. A problem that i didn't think I would have is missfeeds. The stock mag was absolutely fine, but the same mags that I bought seperately didn't feed well. Maybe they need a break-in period. I had to constantly push them into the mag well for them to feed correctly. In conclusion, i'm very happy. I hit so many people with this thing, great time! I'm hesitant to buy upgrades because heavier bbs may already result in a better precision and i don't want to make modifications for not much results (and it's quite costly, especially if i buy a motor). Still, clearly my favorite replica so far! :)
SkyTheOuranoS glad it’s working out for you. It actually doesn’t have a precocking feature but I know what you mean. I have been doing some upgrades to mine but it’s not straight forward. I would however, highly recommend fitting a mosfet to ensure a complete cycle and to protect the micro switch. I have replaced the barrel with a maple leaf 6.01 and hop rubber/Omega nub. It’s not a straight forward swap and I had to make a new modified hop arm. These have had a positive effect, but maybe not enough to justify the effort. I would seriously fit the mosfet though.
@@BIGBIRDSAIRSOFT Ye, we talked about this earlier, for me the first cycle isn't complete, it just brings the piston back and then every cycle is complete. I'm not sure if I should buy a new rubber and bucking... I'll buy a new barrel for sure (ATM 6.0 steel if you know the brand). I don't want to put 100-150e in this replica so i'm not sure i'll order a mosfet, a motor and the rubber. Do you have any recommendations for the mosfet? I think if i get one it will be the MERF 3.2 but i fear the active breaking will reduce the responsiveness (once again because the piston is always at the back of the gb in semi). Also, maybe replacing the hop unit would allow me not to make modifications to the arm... 🤔
SkyTheOuranoS a MERF is fine or a Warfet. The mosfet improves the responsiveness as it only has a signal going through the switch and completes the cycle. I would forget changing the hop unit as very few fit. I suspect a Lonex might but have not been able to prove this. I also fitted a 2mm grub screw in the base of the hop unit to secure the barrel to stop about 1mm of twisting movement. That’s where I’ve got to with mine and I think I’m going to see some good results out on the field. Not been straight forward though. Next I’m going to try and find a motor that fits. I put an SHS ht motor in it but there was a problem getting the angle correct and I’m still not sure why.
@@BIGBIRDSAIRSOFT The Warfet is a bit too expensive for not that much more i think and not that much cheaper compared to the Aster (eventhough i guess it's not compatible here). Thank for the intel about the hop unit. I may just buy the new barrel because i'm guessing putting a maple leaf alone is kind of a waste. The barrel i want comes with some small O-rings that sit in grooves cut onto the barrel so they act as barrel spacers. I've been able to shoot with 0.3g bbs and I feel the precision is better but still, at max range there is some dispersion. The bbs are lifted with ease. I wasn't hoping for a miracle but i just wanted to report. Note that for the moment, i haven't shot more than 10 mags through this replica so maybe the rubber isn't quite set :) I'm going to notify Artucrus for their bad barrels. Last time they were very nice so maybe if enough ppl come back to them for the same issue, they might do something haha
I actually bought the long AR15 model from Arcturus a while back, because I was really interested in the brand and wanted to build a nice DMR. Fast forward to today- I haven't played a single game with it because I could not get it to perform. The hopup ONLY works at all if you have the original hop unit and barrel inside, no other combination works and I tried a lot, including a MAXX Hop Up Unit. The second gripe I have with the brand is that they have proprietary V2 Gearboxes. In a normal M4. Shaking my head. You can't put M4 aftermarket parts inside, this includes the cylinder, cylinder head and the piston head. And without ever playing with it, only from testing and disassembly, the wires stripped themselves right at the start of the buffer tube, so the whole thing short circuited. I can honestly not recommend Arcturus if you plan on doing any internal upgrades at all. Stock it's decent, but nothing amazing. Better than Specna, but still bad.
Dominik Eminger yeah this proprietary parts business seems to be becoming more common. It’s a shame you have had problems and I’ll be posting an update at some point so I’ll see how I get on. 👍
@@BIGBIRDSAIRSOFT I'm just returning it for warranty at this point, I see no point in keeping it or trying to fix it. I'll probably just get a G3 or something instead.
Looked really good right up to the point you pulled the trigger ,then the sound of it triggered a horrific flashback to the shocker of an ak 02 I had the misfortune to purchase last year ...... Arcturus, nope never again .Fab channel btw, subbed 👍
@@BIGBIRDSAIRSOFT like to help. We played together at drake low tunnels a couple of times last year , I was with my girlfriend. We both enjoying the videos
Martin Fleming yeah fine thanks mate, played a couple of times at Anzio and garden shooting, same as you. What you going to do to that AK? Have you still got the TM SCAR?
I bought one as a project gun, had it converted to deans straight away. It overspins and double-shoots in semi on an 11.1v 20C LiPo, a 7.4v 30C LiPo is just fine, installing an active braking MOSFET may help if you want 11.1v ROF but you wear out you motor brushes faster. Alternatively you could short-stroke it and put in an M120 to keep around 350 FPS. Not sure a high torque motor with neodymium magnets will help. I may stick a Gate Titan MOSFET in it and a new Prometheus purple bucking and flat hop nub (the stock hop chamber is perfectly fine, clicky and numbered), but it of the box, its a very solid RIF, great for upgrades, fantastic finish, consistent FPS, so probably a good air seal. I'll be using mine stock for a while until I need to change something or want to upgrade. For the price, is accurate, comes with a midcap (which I bought some more of a they're really nice), is fully ambidextrous, hops a 0.28g BB with ease, is solidly built and looks great, I'd buy one again. I just need to find someone to engrave H&K markings on the receiver! Great review and very in depth, thanks dude!
Dawnrazor Tactical thanks for the support 👍 mine runs really well on an 11.1 although it’s loud. I don’t this you will be able to fit a Titan without major gd modification. Even then I’m not sure it’ll work. I’m going to see if I can get a mosfet to work with the micro switch to improve the trigger. If not then I will fit 13/1 gears and a height torque motor like I did with the Specna as that doesn’t have precocking.
@@BIGBIRDSAIRSOFT it shouldn't be a problem to fit a Gate nano inline MOSFET or similar inline, plug & play MOSFET, I was thinking of getting 13:1 siegetek gears, probably an ASG CNC 30K motor as they've always been reliable, for me anyway and a Prometheus purple bucking and flat hop nub. I'll be doing upgrades as I go, I'm normally impatient, but I'll take my time and get all the parts I need, then upgrade the whole thing. I think it's worth investing in as it has some really nice features that even higher end AEG's don't have and certainly not in its price bracket. You are spot on how solid it is, it feels substantial when holding it and no creaks or wobbles. The mags are nice too, i used to run high caps, but I'm pretty much running midcaps where I can, it improves your marksmanship as you need to make your shots count and can't just spam away, as well as the lovely lack of "battle rattle". Glad I found your channel mate, especially being from the UK, I'm subbed because you really do go over everything, honestly and subjectively, doing proper tests unlike some "reviewers" I won't mention, who fire a couple of midcaps (using a shooting rest/ vice) and call it a day, no internals, no teardown, no upgrade options, just free guns for them and bragging about their accuracy when they use a f**King vice to hold their gun (as well as some tacky Duke Nukem sound effects and constantly saying "nice" to everything). I'd like to see them carry that around at a milsim or CQB game! That is, if they actually play or just collect airsoft guns and claim to be a "filmmaker".
Dawnrazor Tactical PMSL! My GF has refused to listen to anything from that particular reviewer 😂 That’s one of the reasons I started this channel tbh. I’m not a fountain of Airsoft knowledge, but I’ve been around it for many years, and I literally started teching my guns from day 1 (not always well and making mistakes) and that was about 12 years ago. I’ve learned a lot over the years and I’m still learning as I go. I like trying stuff that nobody else does too. It doesn’t always work but now and again I’ll find a trick. Yeah I agree about the inline mosfet. I have a Merf and Warfet here that I swap between guns so I’ll probably order a couple of signal connectors and give it a go. Thanks for supporting the channel 👍
@@BIGBIRDSAIRSOFT when I was a kid, about 12, I used to buy kit guns, springers mainly (about 28 years ago) and build and shoot them with my dad, then I joined a rifle club and started on .177 air rifles, then I moved up to .22LR once I got my NSRA marksman award at around 14, I did that for a few years, then moved around a lot. I've been getting into teching my own guns, just simple stuff since I started airsoft again a couple of years ago with a broken ASG AUG I got for £40 of a mate, it took a lot to get it running as the whole thing was a mess, so you know a lot more than me! As for that "reviewer", he just grates on me, especially his voice and catchphrases, he doesn't even seem to buy more than one mag, if - and it's rare, he buys the gun to begin with and I wouldn't call his "reviews" that informative, mostly clickbait followed by shovel loads of self-indulgence, but if you say anything negative, even if it's valid and constructive, his "fans" are like a pack of rabid beasts and will decend from their collective ar*eholes to defend his every word without thought. Crazy.
Hello, first of all, I'd like to thank you for this amazing and very complete video! You had me with the SA videos and now i'm conquered haha :) As I told earlier, i received mine this week. I can confirm that the externals are amazing. Nothing rattles except the ambidextrous selecror which has a play and is very stiff on one side (right side). The stock is really stiff as said in the video. Plastics are very high quality, even the grip feels better than another 416c one that i previously owned (SA-H07). To check if a screw was lose on the right selector, i decided to open the replica and take out the GB. Beforehand, i feared it would be useless and i was right. The little gears outside the gb are not screwed in. They just sit on the side of the gb like the ak ones and are held in place with the screw which goes through the selector lever. It's a simple design which works but just create some differences between the both sides. As said in the video, maybe It needs a breakout period. The other problem I have is the barrel. It's dirty af (rust) and i can't get rid of it. I have another arcturus (ak-04) with the same barrel and the precision/range is very good. I hope i'll get the same kind of grouping because the ak barrel was also a bit dirty... I'm not able to test accuracy and range at my place. Maybe i'll order a new one along with a new bucking and directly upgrade it. Or maybe i'll let the BBs clean it. Just be aware of that! I got it on taiwangun for 255€ and I'm absolutely delighted. I hope the FFA will reopen fields soon so i can try it out.
SkyTheOuranoS I’ve actually replaced the barrel with a maple leaf for that exact reason, so great shout 👍 I’ve also put a ml rubber and nub in but I have had to modify the hop arm to place the nub properly. I really wanted to fir a tnt but they are out of stock 😕. The accuracy is okay but not consistent enough for me. I’m still thinking about that one, I haven’t found a hop unit that would fit yet. The selectors are better if you put a small dab of grease in the outer recess on the gb that the switch gears sit in. Mines really smooth now. I’m going to do some work on the GB internals too soon. Thanks for the support 👍
@@BIGBIRDSAIRSOFT Thank you for these insights. I was thinking abour getting a 6.02 ATM steel barrel and also a ml bucking but i'm not sure it's necessary to replace it (i'm lazy lol). Too bad i put the gb back in the replica because for me it was a pain in the butt to get out. I don't have the tool for the castle nut and so couldn't remove the stock. Also, i had to remove the right bolt catch because it prevented me to remove the gb. I didn't grease it because it didn't think it would help with my stiff selector but i'll try it tomorrow probably. Thanks for the tip! Also, i noticed the microswitch in the GB is very similar to what you can find in the ATM gearbox v2. I thought it could interest you. Are you planning to make an update video like with the SA? I feel it would help a lot of people, including myself :D Something else i wanted to point out is that I feel like there is some kind of mechanical precocking, where the cycle in semi stops when the piston is at the back of the gearbox. This feature is also my ak and i have also obseved it on a Centaur B before. It's very neat on AKs because you have access to the anti-reversal latch from outside the replica, however it's not the case on there m4 and this hk416. Have you observed this behavior too?
SkyTheOuranoS I will be doing an update video on it but I’m still trying to find some meaningful improvements to report on. I’ve been trying to work out if it has pre-cock but if you look underneath, just behind the trigger guard at the top of the grip there is a small hole. If put a small screw driver in there it disengages the anti-reversal.
@@BIGBIRDSAIRSOFT I think it has, just don't know if it's a real precocking or just something that happens with cycle synchronisation with the base motor and gears... Oh thank you, i red it in the descreption without rly understanding and i thought you were talking about the space beneath the motor. It's a very cool feature and more discrete than on their AKs!
the grouping is reasonable but that could be because the barrel is a bit lose in the outer barrel you can solve that with some tape if the inner barrel is a bit lose that is how i solved it on a G&G gun. Oh and instead of the small pin its better to pull out the big one first that wai the small pin has some wiggle room. the slamm pin is only in it to align the gearbox with the barrel
I realise the gearbox is proprietary but not the lower, right? i.e. one can put a different gearbox inside to honour those magnificent externals. Thanks for those reviews, imo the best and most informative ones out there!
I wonder if an E&L V2 garbox could fit in that, it has the same rear cutout because the E&L also uses a quick change spring, but the difference is that theirs has no proprietary parts from what i can tell, could be interesting. Also to note, on my E&L the stock selector plate was also different from standard V2s, but i switched it out for a lonex one, and it works perfectly with normal selectors.
Gearbox is a variation of the ZCI V2, being knocked out by fjairgun in China. Sadly they don't generally work in other receivers without modification. I asked ZCI to change to the standard TM design 5 years ago but no such luck.
I picked one of these up right before the lockdown started so eager to test it in the field! What brand of Acog clone did you go for and can you recommend it? Have a red dot which works fine but with eyesight i’d be interested in giving an acog a shot, even with the eye relief issues you hear about
Hello Mate, you are tireless with reviews ;-) Slowly I think you're an H&K fan boy, just like me. The Arcturus is optically and technically the most similar to the (original) VFC. Except for the markings, of course. For both, the GB is proprietary, normal ones don't fit. The GR16 MOD5 AT-HT01 (HK416 A5) has no mosfet and it is also not possible to install an EFCS (gate ...). At most a simple mosfet in the cable harness. Apart from that, a tasty bite, all levers and buttons function, remaining markings available, a perfect shaft, everything seems to be very stable. The black one is a beauty, the tan in RAL 8000 looks like mustard. If I were you I would reject the second Specna and use the other two. Yes do a pistol (GBB) - they are neglected with all the SAEG's. There are other H&K besides the H&K45ct, I love the VP9 for example, although it is very controversial, or the USP/P8... - stick to your guns ;-)
saw your channel on airsoftology. any plans on reviewing the new cyma platinum cm.096 mutants? really interested in those, since they're full metal and have upgraded internals. they've been available since at least january, yet there are absolutely no videos or posts about those guns online.
@@BIGBIRDSAIRSOFT I'm an AK guy, so not having to buy a whole bunch of AR mags is quite an attractive option, also I want to troll all my NATO friends. =D
Thanks mate. I’ve done it. I have a gate Warfet fitted, and it’s a great mod as it takes all the volts out of the trigger contact, stops the bouncing and improves response. There are not many upgrades you can do to this, but that is a good one.
Excellent review again!, those microswitch triggers are not the best IMO as you are kind of stuck with them as usually the casing is proprietary to them, so no gate titans, btc in the future, but the rest of the gun seems so solid it can be excused, though the double bell looks like a great contender as it’s a mostly standard gearbox with QD from what I hear, I really like my double bell AK though mag compatibility is trash, but internals are decently strong. also you may like the tan double bell 416 as it doesn’t look as yellow as the Arcturus one,
Hello from Greece!..so,its a good idea to buy this Arcturus HK416?..and what i have to change if i buy it? Any other suggestion for a simiral aeg,i have 300€ to spend. Thank you a lot!
Hi mate, love watching your reviews thing that got me excited was the Taiwangun bootleg pts mags :) what do you think about them? Any good at all? Thanks again 🍻
Hi, great review. It's nice to see a 416 that actually looks decent and well made out of the box after your recent string of bad luck with releases (cough edge2 cough). A friend of mine just bought one of these, and he was advised that the microswitch on the trigger is likely to break or fail. Have you any input on this matter at all? Do you think it would be possible or easy to fix/replace should it go wrong? Thanks in advance.
Mephiston to be honest it’s the first one of these gearboxes I’ve had. I have been hearing of people having problems with the switches and triggers but they are readily available as spares. You can’t really re-lace the switch with a conventional trigger contact as it is a different mounting in the gearbox. I’m going to see what I can do with this setup though 👍
@@twwairsoft961 No it would not. OFC the gearbox will suffer a bigger torture due to the rise in RPM, but nothing too serious that it cant bear. The MOSFET is there to let you use 11.1V safely. Otherwise why would they put a mosfet in there? They clearly developed this GB to tackle the highter voltages, since almost everyone everyone will use a 11.1V when it has a mosfet.
Alper C it depends on if you are happy to upgrade. If you want to upgrade, then it is a lot easier with the Specna. The problem is, if you get a good Specna you’ll be fine, if you don’t, well......the externals of the Arcturus is way better than the Specna but it’s much harder to upgrade (I’m actually upgrading this one at the moment, and it’s tricky) so, I can’t really recommend one over the other as it depends on what you value. I also did loads of work on the Specna SA-H20 before I was happy to use it.
@@BIGBIRDSAIRSOFT Alright thank you im a begginer so i don't think i will be upgrading anytime soon. im leaning more towards Arcturus since u had more problems with Specna, did you came across any problems with Arcturus? (Sorry for dragging this so long)
or Specna arms HK 416 ? , What's your choice of weapon ? I'm a beginner and I'd like full metal body so it doesn't wear out fast and is long lasting, can you please give me your opinion ? I really enjoy your videos, they give great knowledge to people like me newbies, waiting for your answer.
I’ve got to admit, this makes the VFC umarex version seem cheap. Bearing in mind the VFC has authentic trades, the external finishes are nicer, the gearbox and trigger are a much better design, those things make up the price difference alone. TM need to get on it and release a recoil version of the A5 before I get tired and build one out of two butchered guns! 😆
VFC is garbage, I dont care about the trades. they need a lot of of work internally before they can be a good gun. If I have to tear apart a gearbox from the get go to make it right a little bit of lettering on the outside isnt worth the $$.
@@Solidsnake0208 I 100% disagree as of late. esp since they use those shit spring shimmed gears. Im just speaking from my experience of seeing multiple internal component failures in VFC's. bearings explode in the gearbox, tappet plates break (snap) bc they are poly carb, gear shafts breaking, piston heads coming off pistons, etc.
Ghostwalker Airsoft Tech I’m just in the middle of upgrading this. Unfortunately, it’s not been a simple process but I am getting somewhere with it now.
DementeX the best 416 I have seen is the Tokyo Marui Delta. After working on this Arcturus, the upgrade ability is not fully there due to proprietary parts. I’ve only worked on a few VFC’s but they were all troublesome. If you don’t want to go the TM route there are some good 416’s from E&C, and Double Bell. They are basic internally but provide a good base.
Great review ....cannot get over the high quality external....was gutted when you started showing the proprietary internals and then Negative airsoft info about it being Nuprol stuff ...made me sad is it almost worth dumping the gearbox and replacing it with a "normal" V2 ...is that even doable ?...will be interested to see what you do with this one...Now you just need to find a Double Bell...to review I mean a guy can never have too many 416s....🤣
I’ve been looking at the double bell 👍 I’ve measured up to see if a new V2 gb would fit but the angle on the base plate is different. Not given up though, I’ll try and make it work.
@@BIGBIRDSAIRSOFT look forward to watching the next episode and seeing where this goes ....I will keep you updated with how I get on with my Taiwan gun mags as well

Well, the internals don't seem that bad. Actually i had a Centaur B and it was a laser beam, same for my current AK-04. I just bought this replica, i'll recieve it during the week probably. You can always wait for something to break and replace it. What i can tell is that i really enjoy their switches. It is very clicky and satisfying. I also have a scorpion evo and i basically feel nothing while pressing the trigger. Here you have a clear break and reset. However it's still a switch so absolutely not comparable to a gbb. If you want to fire at a crazy rate in semi auto, it's bad but i rly don't mind as it's not my playstyle and i prefer good sensations. About the proprietary gb, i guess that's what it costs to get "unique" replicas but i agree the switch part is pretty annoying... :/
Mark Greenway if they were all standard I would take the Arcurus all day long, but because I’ve already upgraded the other two, they have the advantage. I’ll be seeing what I can do with the Arcturus soon though.
Hello. Thanks for the video. You can ask for advice, I do not understand English, I use a translator. I ask you for advice. I want to buy HK 416. But I choose between two manufacturers Arcturus and G&G ARMAMENT. Arcturus has a screw thread of the butt pipe, quick access to the spring, but a weak set of internal mechanisms. G&G has better internal mechanisms. What is your opinion that it is better to take to play immediately. Thank you for your opinion.
I would like to know that someone can help me. I am looking for an HK416 and it looks incredible, if I want to install a Gate Titan mosfet will it fit? Thx
isaac shively is did indeed although i measure pretty much every barrel and it’s not unusual to see. I don’t know how qc works for these inner barrels but I wouldn’t be surprised if it works on an average measurement lol
Sylithics they fit and feed so far but the real test is when you want to put .28’s through after they have been in there for a few hours. I might do a review after I’ve had them for a few months. Assuming we get to play Airsoft again. 😂

Do you know if the EMG Platinum Complete Version 2 Gearbox will fit in it I’m trying to build mine

Keep up the good work :-)
It had my attention but it most likely hit the states since it's a unlicensed 416 and I've heard Arcturus and Nuprol are both crap

Note that for the moment, i haven't shot more than 10 mags through this replica so maybe the rubber isn't quite set :)
I'm going to notify Artucrus for their bad barrels.

You keeping ok ?
Martin Fleming yeah fine thanks mate, played a couple of times at Anzio and garden shooting, same as you. What you going to do to that AK? Have you still got the TM SCAR?
I think I'm going to buy one of those now!
The quality for the price and upgtadeability is fantastic.
My GF has refused to listen to anything from that particular reviewer 😂
That’s one of the reasons I started this channel tbh.

You had me with the SA videos and now i'm conquered haha :)
As I told earlier, i received mine this week.
I feel it would help a lot of people, including myself :D
Something else i wanted to point out is that I feel like there is some kind of mechanical precocking, where the cycle in semi stops when the piston is at the back of the gearbox.
Love your vids mate they are always honest and detailed, also jealous as f**k of your collection 😁

It's microswitch trigger. What's your opinion about putting a mosfet to run 11.1v batteries ? Thank you. Great video.

@@BIGBIRDSAIRSOFT fantastic, look forward to seeing what you can do.
Quick question, I have a Specna Arms E07 running a Titan 7.4V, would it be able to handle a 11.1V?
Sure, it has a good mosfet.
Dale Smith i think it will destroy your gearbox
Suspected it would
@@twwairsoft961 No it would not.
Is it possible for you to review the AR15 PDW AT-AR03 from Arcturus or give an opinion about it?

@@BIGBIRDSAIRSOFT Would you recommend it over like a Specna arms edge series?
Alper C it depends on if you are happy to upgrade. If you want to upgrade, then it is a lot easier with the Specna. The problem is, if you get a good Specna you’ll be fine, if you don’t, well......the externals of the Arcturus is way better than the Specna but it’s much harder to upgrade (I’m actually upgrading this one at the moment, and it’s tricky) so, I can’t really recommend one over the other as it depends on what you value.
The trigger is ten times worse on this. It’s proprietary garbage
Since bought the VFC version, only things that you’ll really benefit from changing are the spring and motor
VFC is garbage, I dont care about the trades. they need a lot of of work internally before they can be a good gun. If I have to tear apart a gearbox from the get go to make it right a little bit of lettering on the outside isnt worth the $$.
Ghostwalker Airsoft Tech VFC don’t have perfect internals, but they’re a damn sight better than Arcturus by the looks of it
@@Solidsnake0208 I 100% disagree as of late. esp since they use those shit spring shimmed gears. Im just speaking from my experience of seeing multiple internal component failures in VFC's. bearings explode in the gearbox, tappet plates break (snap) bc they are poly carb, gear shafts breaking, piston heads coming off pistons, etc.
Is it possible to add a bolt catch?
can i put a Gate Titan in it? or must necessarly change GB if I want to do so?
No you can’t put a Titan in and a standard V2 won’t work with the hop.
higher torque motor higher power spring, and a maple leaf hop rubber setup and this one would be nice.

DementeX the best 416 I have seen is the Tokyo Marui Delta. After working on this Arcturus, the upgrade ability is not fully there due to proprietary parts. :/
If i think about it, i will post a comment when I recieve mine but I will not be able to perform shooting tests sadly
So bigbird you have 3 guns that roughly look the same so how do you choose which one to take on a game day.
Mark Greenway if they were all standard I would take the Arcurus all day long, but because I’ve already upgraded the other two, they have the advantage. I’ll be seeing what I can do with the Arcturus soon though.
@@BIGBIRDSAIRSOFT your new one looks alot better than the specna just looks more real and the finish is top notch.
@@martinphillips6434 Thank. You do not advise taking Аrcturus? It's hard for me to watch your video with subtitles. Do you advise taking GG?
Superb gun !!!! Where can I get one in UK
Does someone know if it's possible to change the A5 stock for a "classic HK416" stock? (Great review btw :D)
yes it's possible
@@laowu8024 ok, thank you very much :)
Ics mp5 is out are you gonna do a review on it?
Paul Vapes I will indeed 👍 pretty soon.
BIGBIRDSAIRSOFT looking forward to it 👌
Can't wait for my ak-12 to arrive
I've heard this gun is extremely picky with the mags, anyone has more info on this?
I would like to know that someone can help me. I am looking for an HK416 and it looks incredible, if I want to install a Gate Titan mosfet will it fit?
Thx
The these gearboxes won’t accept a Titan.
Is there a quick trigger for this gearbox?
If you mean a blade style trigger, I’ve not seen one.
@@BIGBIRDSAIRSOFT speed trigger
@@TheNos68 yeah same thing, but no.
@@BIGBIRDSAIRSOFT ok bad gearbox...
Has anyone try to fit Gate Tita or Aster or Jefftron Leviathan into that gearbox?
Slavic Blood they don’t fit. It’s not a standard V2 gb
BIGBIRDSAIRSOFT that’s a shame, I wanted to buy it
Slavic Blood inline mosfet such as the warfet work
Fuck that xD I Hate oldschool stuff Like that, and cut off levers
Make video about lct or e&l or lct vs e&l
Wait did the inner barrel measure 5.99mm and 6.02mm on the other? WTF!
isaac shively is did indeed although i measure pretty much every barrel and it’s not unusual to see. I don’t know how qc works for these inner barrels but I wouldn’t be surprised if it works on an average measurement lol
e&c does one ,specna aswell
The Specna one is very likely made by E&C (like some of the other One Series guns) and wasn’t on the market when this video was made.
double bell does one 🤪
@@rodneyjakob9873 they do, but it has the wrong gas block and grip so it needs work to make it look like it should.
@@BIGBIRDSAIRSOFT true I can't make a decision for witch one ,got a sa h04 (416c) will see how it does after the upgrades. big fan btw.
@@rodneyjakob9873 thanks mate 👍 if I was going to get one now, I’d get the Specna and upgrade. It’s got all the right parts and looks great.
How many 416's you got now 😂. Keep up the good work sir. Do you not like gas blow back rif's?
Luke atkinson I love GBBR’s, I really do. I just have buying the mags and gas lol
How much would it cost for you to mail me in th US? Lol man I get so jealous when I see guns that I can't buy due to licensing.... the ICS MP5....
Yeah that really does suck
@@BIGBIRDSAIRSOFT I wish I had a trusted partner that lived over seas who could mail me airsoft guns... haha
Hi anyone use the Taiwan gun fake pts mags? Any good? Cheers
Sylithics they fit and feed so far but the real test is when you want to put .28’s through after they have been in there for a few hours. I might do a review after I’ve had them for a few months. Assuming we get to play Airsoft again. 😂
Thanks for the message appreciate it, I’ll have a look into them. Not a lot of reviews about them but guess for 7 odd pound you can’t go wrong :)
Cheers
Sylithics no worries 👍 and yeah it’s worth a shot for that price
I picked up three for my M4 ...I will let you know how they are
And these are not available in US why?
Maybe they can make a G28 DMR that I can afford lol.
matt Bridges lol I know what you mean, although...............credit?
Need a credit card lol. Been trying to build my credit up for one but my credit is slowly going up so one day... Too bad the limited edition is discontinued
Those barrels rust a lot. They are absolute garbage, like the pdi raven 6.01 ones.
