9:08 if you're a fighter and have unlocked the shield boost you can launch one of your pawns over there to push the ladder down.

For the location of the wolf helmet if you find a thief village sort of north to the first proper city there is a house with a door you can’t open go to the back shoot through the window the latch and there is a ladder to go down and it is there plus 12,000 gold
You know it’s the right village if there is a well in the center with a ring hope this helps

There's a poison container at the right side outside the house, if you throw it at the front of the door the latch will break
There is a free silver rapier on top of the building that houses the greater rift stone in Vermund you can jump to it from the inns roof 2 other chests and a seeker token as well
- Buy new sword
- Find better one soon after
- Feel reluctant to invest in new gear because of the fear of finding better stuff soon after

Hey Khraze, up north east of the checkpoint rest town there is an abandoned castle. I stumbled across it and saved some guy on the east path. If you agreed to escort him through up to the top he will give you an ancient battlefield key. The key opens the double doors before you finished his quest. There is 2 chests in there, the one chest gives a duo spear with fire enchant on it. I haven’t used it yet since I’m still getting my fighter vocation to max first but I think the damage numbers were like 340 ish?
Currently using that fire spear, it is very good and suprisingly easy to get

@@thelordsauron far left of map o the border of Bahtahl. I think the om cart on the left of capital May take you there? I’m not sure, I ran there cuz I was exploring the map. I do know the oxcart in check point takes you to this one in capital
Also it scales a lot, still haven’t used it and it says over 430 dmg for me base tier, no upgrade. Once I’m down using my warrior for augments I’m gonna be using that spear☺️ hopefully my comment helped lots of you!
Minor spoiler for Howling Hood location. Literally just found the Howling Hood tonight in a chest in a basement at a bandit camp south of Melve. Next to the Riftstone of robustness by a lake. Shame i can't share a screenshot here. Location is called: Marshlands settlement. It's behind locked door. Can shoot lock barricade though back window 👍
A commenter mentioned you can also throw a nearby poison pot at the door to open it. Havent tested it yet.
Edit: tested it. Didnt work. I had to come back as an archer. Theres also a ferrystone in the basement hidden under a crate. So it was worth it.
There are also some nice thief daggers in the waterfall caverns at the beginning of the game. They are the pelt flayers.
i got the peltflayres even earlier on from a chest in the waterfall cave which is early on the path to go to vermund directly after the border above the outpost. clearing the cave you'll fight lizards and poison lizards, as well as one chimera and one wraith king thing, the chimera i couldn't kill but it guarded a wakestone and some ore n small things if u run past it, the wraith i did kill and it guarded a seeker token on one path and a chest w the daggers on the opposite, shorter path to the right of the big chair
With the cave that has the hunter’s bow, you don’t need skills. You can just throw a pawn up there and they’ll kick the ladder down.
You can pretty early on use the Ox Cart to travel to Rest Town and dont have to travel yourself there.
Gotta say that one of the biggest changes that won me over is the ability to stab weak spots now instead of just slashing while holding on lol.

You can get the 2nd best duospear before endgame (that we know of for now) right as you unlock the mystic spearhand. When Melve is being attacked by the infected dragon don't fight it upfront since it will almost 100% fly away before you can kill it instead run to the tower with the giant ballista and your easily able to kill it in a few shots just make sure to hit it before it flies of, make sure to save just before just incase. Anyway once it's dead you can loot the dead ringer of it which is an insane weapon to be able to get early game with 355 strength + magick only one duospear is better at 380 strength + magick before endgame. Normally you'd start of with the 120 strength + magick weapon but instead you can start of with a weapon almost x3 stronger.
I stole it from the dragon by attacking with the thief skill
Anyone else notice that not only are there less armor pieces ( Not talking about slots) but many of the armor options are incomplete. Like how the gryphic helm is just helmet or the meloiran armor is just the chest piece. These random one pieces sets are probably the biggest reason why I stuck with the marchers armor as soon as I got it.
The Wolf cap is in the cellar of a house at the little Lake before the rifer in the northwest of the capital
To access the nameless cave entrance you don't need a mage or thief, just throw one of your pawns over to that side, and they will let the ladder down for you.
im sure you already know where to get the wolf head hood... but for other ppl is in the same village you show getting the silver rapier the house with the door that is locked. just gotta shoot it open as an archer and go down

There is a sliver rapier in vernworth for free. go up the stairs in the inn in vernworth then jump to the next building right at the front. in the domed part of said building I found a seeker coin and the silver rapier

Why the Helical Archistaff when there one down the road south west called Favored Branches? It boasts a 359 magick attack compared to your suggested 180 magick attack lol
Near the riftstone of robustness is a locked house in the basement is the howler hood.
BRO, completely missed right there at the rapier sword, if you have a ranged character, go to the backside of the house with the locked door and you can shoot the board jarring the door, in the cellar there’s the howling hood and a cash of 12000 gold, also at that shield 🛡️ there’s an escort mission that takes you to the battlegrounds north, he gives you a key that gives you a mystic spear hand, over 300 to both strength and magic
Goal is pronounced the same as jail just FYI also you can just toss a pawn over there to kick the ladder down
Wolf Hood can be found in a cellar in Marshland Settlement
Loving this game so far. It's a tad janky at times on PS5, but nothing breaking worthy. I'm about 9 hours in.

@@Blackstonelegion the microtransactions are literally meaningless in this, the only thing you need RC for is the glasses. Other than that, you don't need to spend money on a thing, if it's such an issue just use a trainer or ignore the shop.

Nah, its just a pawn with a passive skill that shows some materials in the map.
You can obtain scrolls sometimes that do that trick.
9:05 you can just throw your pawn up there and they will kick the ladder down for you.

Most of this is just found exploring as you progress the main game TBH. Also, the "heavy armor" everyone keeps calling it from that gaol guard tower is actually shit. By the time you can even get it, there's better on the vendor like chain mail. IDK why people keep calling that set out because other than looks, it's pretty bad.
You can upgrade it easily. It adds a lot of stats.

Marchers armor looks nice but its not that strong. The stuff I was wearing before I got to the city was stronger.

Wait... I dont think buying the house will count as a "inn save" . You still want to use the INN to have a permanent save
Best early game armor is the potato sack clothes you have when you start the game, just upgrade it once you get to the capital to max and its better than marchers 😂

Im playing on pc 4080 .. getting 90 fps all ultra.. have to say i am in love with it .. wont lie though in the towns it drops to 50 fps .
I had to return it on PC on the character creation for the demo and main game it would constantly crash and I was excited for it on my pc now I’m playing on Xbox still fun either way

@@eddwinnas I mean I've never had denuvo actually mess with my fps enough to notice. Dd2 has performance issues that are seperate so it still doesn't matter.

Man I’m still debating getting this game but dayam it looks so freaking EMPTY!! Are the cities just barren ghost towns? Every video I watch it’s just emptiness with a gears of war color scheme…. I really want to love this game but ima have to wait for a deal.
Towns are actually nicely populated. Most towns shown in this video are, in fact, ghost/abandoned towns. The actual towns that you buy items and rest usually have quite a few people.
This game desperately needs ground mounts and mounted combat. For the love of god walking everywhere just isn’t fun. Even elden ring had a ground mount that didn’t compromise the game.
Nah they don't and they didn't have one in the first game so why would they put it in the 2nd game especially when they ain't put co-op in the game and that's actually what everyone wanted.
