You can actually kill the lesser dragon that attacked the town in Melve. Just run to the tower with the ballista at the far end of town and use the 'To Me' pawn command to gather all your pawns to the tower. I had to rub my eyes thinking It was me lol. I'm running a medium to high pc that handles any game I've thrown on it at high or ultra but this one I need to almost drop to low which is insane
Its important to note. The vocation you use levels your stats. Meaning a fighter gives strength over other kinds of vocations. So the one you use is Important to what you are going to use at endgame which will make it easier or harder depending on the enemies you are facing aswell as the vocation you are using. Blah blah min max only blah blah, thats incorrect as your stats like stamina and how much mana/dmg you do is directly linked to the leveling process. You also CANNOT reset your level. Only deleting your character and starting from level one is a fix to this. So if you want to be a sorcerer pick the mana/spell using classes. If you want non magic ranged class, strength classes and stamina classes are the ones you want to level. Keep this in mind when playing, unless you just dont care and want to just game with no real reason to be strong or more powerful.
Does this mean if I levelled to 30 with Thief, and then switch to Warrior, by the time I reach 60 the additional increases I got from Warrior will be equivalent to reaching level 30 as Warrior?
@@jojipoji2322 The commenter you responded to is actually incorrect. What they described was true for Dragon's Dogma 1, but now the stats are independent for each vocation. In your scenario when you reach level 60 and switch to warrior, your stats will be that of a lv60 warrior, not 30, even if you had played the first 30 levels as a thief.
Another tip is use the Inn and save. It sucks that it cost so much gold but i lost a days worth of work cause i i glitched into a rock and had no ferrystones. My last autosave was in that rock. Had to go all the way back from the last time i was at a Inn.

Companions are ai npcs and are very useful to have (they can collect, carry stuff for you, help in combat, deal damage etc) . I still recommend having them but you can just dismiss them or let them fall in combat and go solo. I've been doing that on a few occasions.
"A couple of save files"? Far as I can tell, we only get the 1, and we can't even restart that like in the first game Edit I think I understand what he meant now - manual save vs inn save
My biggest concern is: does Dragon's Dogma 2 still uses stat growth like in the first game? Because if you're into min-maxing, Dragon's Dogma 1 forced you take very specific levels with very specific vocations otherwise you'd end up with a shitty build.
Adding onto this is there's a post on the Dragon's dogma subreddit about how at higher levels the stats even out to the point that at level 200 the stats are the same regardless of what vocation you used previously. Dunno how accurate/ truthful it is since I have no idea how someone already got to level 200.

The perfect start is the one where you go in blind
do i have to have companion? can i go solo? always been like that for every game lol
Companions are ai npcs and are very useful to have (they can collect, carry stuff for you, help in combat, deal damage etc) . I still recommend having them but you can just dismiss them or let them fall in combat and go solo. I've been doing that on a few occasions.
If you play solo, you get a 20% boost to xp. So you actually get rewarded for going it alone
You can toss all of your pawns off a cliff and then not recover any of them
Get ready to get fisted though. This game was balanced around a party
@@irecordwithaphone1856I tossed my first pawn off a cliff by accident.
I kinda miss the ' Master wolfs' from DG1 lol
"A couple of save files"? Far as I can tell, we only get the 1, and we can't even restart that like in the first game
Edit
I think I understand what he meant now - manual save vs inn save
How do you add the elemental enchantments?
Playing with 4070 ti.. frames seem fine on max settings
I just completed the coronation mission, and didn’t complete like 5 pending missions. I think i wanna start over smh
I think you can delete the whole save in PC or console settings otherwise you gotta just wait till NG+
It's always best to learn from others mistakes rather than your own.
My biggest concern is: does Dragon's Dogma 2 still uses stat growth like in the first game? Because if you're into min-maxing, Dragon's Dogma 1 forced you take very specific levels with very specific vocations otherwise you'd end up with a shitty build.
No, your stats change with your vocation. So there's no min maxing or worrying about that. Play all the vocations without restrictions
Adding onto this is there's a post on the Dragon's dogma subreddit about how at higher levels the stats even out to the point that at level 200 the stats are the same regardless of what vocation you used previously. Dunno how accurate/ truthful it is since I have no idea how someone already got to level 200.
How do you use it on the main pawn lmao. You left out the explanation for the gold beetle tip.
Just got the game and got hit bad during a fight with an overgrown ape , tried eating herbs but couldn’t so why the meat,
Solid brother thx
What about the eternal ferrystone? Like the first game?
Starting with fighter is potentially the worst decision I’ve ever made. If there was a dodge mechanic it wouldn’t be an issue but whenever you have multiple enemies even small ones coming to attack you there’s no blocking at all and you get completely fucked every time. Looking to be a mystic spear hand as soon as possible
Thief is one of the best classes by far with a dodge I highly recommend. It's the most fun I've played.
I’ve been a fighter only so far. Just grab the parry skill and you can parry everything. Even bosses attacks
Learn how to block and parry?
@@TheOrplaya86 Didn't matter the class was still bland, the long sword/hammer ones I can get behind though. Currently a mystic spearhand and it's been a blast
@@PureCapsaicin yea I maxed it out, I prefer the warrior out of everything so far, haven’t done archer or thief yet
I sold my greatsword away as a gift how do I get another one for the quest vocation frustration
I did the same😂
@@torypayne8711 any ideas ? 😂 tried buying 2 swords 🗡️ that didnt work , don’t know if they were great or not

How to make the mage pawn imbued elements in my meele weapons? Like fire and electricity .
Are these footages from pc or ps5 ?
About the moldy food. Haven't gotten the game yet cause at work ATM. Like in DD1 did anyone try moldy carrot gold farm? And does it work?
Warfarer levels every vocations you have
Got 40 hours I like playing my own way. I enjoyed the video but waited for this game to have my own experience . I understand helping new players though
So you cant get skilled wrong for playing a wrong class to long like in the first game?
can anyone tell me how to Assign Items to shortcut? I know we can in DD1
Also don’t explore a cave at level 6 and get ambushed by a Wight and 4 OP undead! Lots my escort to the city! Sorry buddy
Loving it on ps5!
We got the same first name
I should have bought it on PS5 instead of PC. I have recommended requirements, but the game looks blurry, had crashed 3 times, the framerate goes up and down, the pawns run around like idiots and fall to their death.
Really needs some patch, I been more angry at this game than i have been ejoying it tbh.
DD1 felt much better tham this.
Downloaded the deluxe this will be my first dragons dogma 😅
Pc players not having it huh?
On the ps5 I play with no issues. It’s actually a lot of fun. The best way to play games like this is to just play. Drop the phone stop watching videos on it and play!
Have fun.
Most important tip
DONT FORGET YOUR FIRST SEEKER COIN LOCATION
Thank me later
Seeker’s Token = DQ Mini Medals… noice
Yeah I lost about 4 hours from loading an inn save
Wait, I am pretty sure that if you leave equipment in a pawns inventory and dismiss the pawn, you lose those items....
The items end up back in your stash
AAh, I see. Unless you have equipped it to the pawn, then it's gone.@@majorcosmos2
Bro I accidently loaded from my last inn save and lost a whole day of progress
I did not know you can turn expired food Into oil.🤔
On ps5 so far I’m loving it
Am I the only one that’s at lvl 28 wondering why I’m able to kill Madusa with ease but not a low lvl dragon? Am I doing some wrong? 🤣
"wake stones are very rare"
MOM, I NEED YOUR CREDIT CARD!
Okay. so I looked at the rating of this game, and it's kinda low. But I want people opinion that has played the game. So give me some comments of what you think of the game so I can decide if I should get it.
It's great, maybe game of the year but some people have had crashes and performance issues on PC and are hammering it with low scores, the drama about micro transactions is silly, I doubt anyone will feel the need to spend extra $
@@justice4g micro transactions?
Is it me or does the combat seem easier in dragons dogma 2
My game maxed ot is 120 fps in the open world and 50-70 fps in town
lol. Bullshit. You got three 4090s or something? Game isn’t optimized for shit
I say jisy play the game . Thier is no "best" or "perfect"start
damn
shut up and take me like
Computer user eyes' dont work at 30fps.
How do u avoid paying $96 plus taxes?😂
???? Why was my comment deleted? Is calling Capcom a bunch of greedy pigs against community guidelines?
I’m just laughing at all the people complaining about things Japanese games have been doing since before western games started doing them.
Note most of the complaining are likely the same ones who put Japan on a pedestal, and claim they are the best.
Avoid the massive mistake of buying this game in the first place. Denuvo has utterly ruined it.
Avoid these massive mistakes... Number 1: Buying the game
Mistake number 1: Listening to idiots who tell you not to buy the game. So far absolutely loving my purchase.
The point of the game is to discover on your own and learn by yourself, that's literally one of the main unique selling points of the game, I totally disagree with the opening statement of this video!!
