@@AdamTanPercussion My marching band does that. We’ve gotten a bit worse recently, and unfortunately the vibes have taken the brunt of the part simplifications
That setup of instruments looks so fun!! Hopefully one day i can have a similar setup. I currently have a drum set, a 5 octave electric keyboard, and am borrowing a 4 ⅓ octave marimba from school .
I had my stuff stolen about a year ago (had all of my gear in a bag for school, every mallet stick and beater, whatnot). The first pair of mallets I ever owned were given to me by a teacher. One day I'll have my own personal instrument. You've been a big inspiration since I saw your first video, I just wanna play music again. And I want my own marimba, really my own instrument in general.
Congratulations on your new vibe Adam. I got my One Vibe (w/motor) in March of 22. It is the best instrument I have ever owned. Check out the assembly instructions as you and I differ on attaching the pedal to the frame crossbar. It looks like you split the 2 round plastic pieces - one above and one below - and I have them both on top. Probably no matter but just thought I would point it out. Funny that I also thought the green string was an odd choice but it doesn't matter. For me there was only one disappointment. I thought that since the height was adjustable I would be able to lower it a little bit as I prefer the vibe lower than the standard M-75 or M55 height. But, the One Vibe starts at that height and goes up. Again, not a big deal. Otherwise, this is an amazing instrument. The cases, should you choose to buy them (yes, a Mission Impossible reference) are soooo good. The wheels on the harp case, the beautifully fit bar case. For anyone who will be taking the instrument out on a regular basis you can't get anything better.
