Wow! What an incredible finish, as was your spool that you showed us yesterday! You are so talented! Thanks for sharing all of this with us! Such an excellent tutorial!
Vonna thank you for the very detailed instructions to make this drum. I have the pattern and will follow your detailed tutorial when it comes time to put it together. You are the best and I thank you so much for sharing all your years of experience with us. You are cherished! ❤
@@marilynsr53 thank you for your profuse and generously kind comments! I appreciate them more than you know. Truly! Especially after deleting a comment this weekend from a person I held in high regard that told me I was talented, but lacked humility. So very much appreciated 😊❤️ thank you ❤️
@@VonnaPfeiffer Vonna - you are so right in deleting these type of comments because you so do not deserve this type of label whatsoever. Some people completely lack any class and have no respect for fabulous people like you who take hours to teach the rest of us these beautiful finishing techniques completely from your heart. People need to be kind and respectful. You’re a beautiful person and you are due your right to be acknowledged when people use your techniques. My love to you and your family. ❤️
Thanks for sharing this information. I'll watch it again when I am ready to try to finish a drum...I have a few patterns in my collection that are designed as drums.
Thank You Vonna, you're the best! Your instructions are crystal clear! Thank You for giving all of us your wonderful knowledge, your "free instructions" and most important your, easy to follow guidance!
I enjoy watching your videos. Thank you for being so giving by sharing your expertise. I like the herringbone stitch and discovered it’s easier with a curved needle. I’ve seen some people use a spoon also. Looking forward to your next video.
@@irmamartinez7467 yes I use curved needles as well sometimes, I just like my regular skinny sharps best. To each their own, ya know?! Just giving my best advice freely on how I do things. Have a good day!

You are a terrific educator! Thank you from this “newby” for your clear instructions in all your videos. I’m not ready for a drum, yet, but I learn from all your videos, no matter the skill levels.
Your work is just amazing. I have a few drum patterns but I've been afraid to do them because they seem so intimidating. Thank you for taking the time to do these tutorials for us. I really appreciate them.
You can find circle templates in the art/ drafting supply area in hobby lobby and Michaels. They are another brand but work the same. I use them all the time in Tole painting. Love the step by step directions. Perfect as always. Thank you so much. Your tutorials are my go to when trying to finish.
Hi Vonna , good to see you this morning and learn from you! My hobby lobby in Indiana has the circle templates in the arts area in front of the framing department where artist paint brushes and paint is. Hope this helps someone.
Dear Vonna, Another amazing tutorial. Thank you so much for sharing your expertise. You cut your circles so perfectly. Could you please share what scissors you used. 🥰
@@bethpulchinski3050 thank you for your kindness! I’m not sure the scissors I use make a difference in the cutting, I use anything from $2 generic scissors from Hobby Lobby to more expensive ones. It’s just I’ve been cutting out circles, ovals and hand drawn shapes for finishing for a long time. These scissors that I used today are a brand I prefer if I’m buying expensive ones. I have almost ever size and every type of blade they make: Karen Kay Buckley is the brand.
I totally agree with your way & logic. When you lace the circle, you go directly across from your first pull, then does it matter where the next pull starts? ... like is it close to where you came up, then directly across, or is it any place, and just always across? If no special tape, maybe a wonder clip for temporary hold? Nice explanation for the materials used to fill the drum. TYVM for this very cool easy to follow tutorial. 🥰
