You guys rock with the informational install vids! Also - that's the cleanest looking muffler you can get on these 9th gens!
i wish they made an exhaust like this for 8th gens. its basically a straight pipe with only a resonator, which is the best sounding setup for any car IMO.
rudy the socket wrench ninja!
Cannot wait to buy one after Christmas!!
+joswadoria Stay tuned to our site for our xmas sales that extend up to New Years.
I just about to say no sound clip. thank god. just order the buddy racing short shifter with the k-tune bushings. I'm thinking about this exhaust. Would love an before and after sound video
+Chris Allen Although we don't have a before and after, we do have a sound clip at the end of the vid, check it out here: ruclips.net/video/F7VJRasAZfs/видео.html
I had this on my 95 240sx with the KA24 and it was insanely loud with the NA motor. It was to be expected for a straight pipe. It sounded amazing after I swapped in the SR20det with a catless downpipe though. I've always loved the look of the spec2 but I never liked the sound when installed on a Honda. I'd go Q300 or Full Race over this setup for an SI.
Please please please pro civic! can you do an installation on how to install a header/downpipe??!!
+TheNuke95 I will put a request in!
looks so sick!! :)
+jdm sam We think so too! Thanks for checking out our videos.
Are those springs included in the package? For some reason mine didnt come with any
At the end tho that teddy bear 😂✌🏼️
+jose zavala :)
That was Larry David (Seinfeld creator) saying "shut the fuck up" at the end. It's a sound bit from the HBO show Curb Your Enthusiasm.
+Matt S :)
looks like this car is going to be buddy club project. could you guys do the buddy club downpipe?
Kool point finger giget
I want an exhaust so bad on my 12 SI, but I do not want it to sound like a fart can so I’m being very picky as to what I put on it
where's the sound video?? it's been two weeks lol
+jdm sam It will be uploaded soon, don't worry :) For now you can still hear the sound a bit at the end of this current video.
Where is the sound clip it’s been 4 years😂
Where's the start up and revs?
Is there any exhaust leak where it's held together with those two hook springs?
I see more than a few people have asked if this will fit the coupe si and obviously it wont, any suggestions on what catback system is closest to this one for the 2014 si coupe?
+Gregory Echevarria Some of the more popular systems are the Invidia and Skunk2 exhausts. Please have a look at our exhaust section for more details: www.procivic.com/pages-main_pg/category-70_86/engine-exhausts.html
What mugen wind is horrible af on these. Keep the stock wing. This exhaust tho 👌🏼
Can this fit my 2013 si? If not, which can and is the process the same?
+CharlieD910 If it's a si sedan, yes, it will fit fine on there.
+ProCivic.com I have a coupe
+CharlieD910 This will only fit the Sedan, not the coupes. Have a look at some of our options for the coupes: www.procivic.com/pages-main_pg/category-70_86/engine-exhausts.html
what's the difference in performance between the racing spec exhaust and the pro spec axle back exhaust? will the install be the same on the axle back as well? thanks
+Christian Canalda The Racing Spec will give quite a bit more power. It is straight-through, no-nonsense design. The axle back is mostly for looks and sound. Very small hp gains.
Could you make a video on how to install aftermarket fog lights on a 2014 EX?
+T00GRIMEYTV Ill definitely put in a request
With a little modifications to the exhaust pipes by a Muffler Shop, will this be good for a 2012 Civic EX R18?
+LASG Productionz We are not sure what the extent of the modification will need to be. The size of the piping may also not be very suitable to the R18. This system was designed with the larger K24 in mind.
PRO Civic.com alright thanks. Well for a 2012 R18 civic coupe what exhaust would you guys recommend, the Takeda Axleback or the Borla Axleback?
r18's have a smaller pipe than the Si same goes for the 06-11's too
Guys I have the coupe fairly same process?
Will this fit a 2012 civic EX? And will it be good for the car?
When I go to the website to purchase I don't see any options for 2012-2015 civic si options. It stops at 2000 model.. How do I find the one for my 2014 model?
Hi, unfortunately the 9th Gen Si application has been out of stock for so long, we had to remove it. I hope Buddy Club gets it back in stock soon!
Hi there, can you tell me what the stands are that you have the car on in this video please
Hahaha. That ending. Shut the Fuck up. I'm dying. Did the customer ever complain about exhaust leaks?? Since its not clamped..
+david morton This is actually our shop car! We have seen very minor leaks at the slip joints, but the system is mostly known for being very lightweight.
How do you get the 12mm bolts off no matter how hard I try they don't budge
Could that fit on a Honda Civic 2012 lx ?
I want this exhuast but I can't find it my my year of civic, I own a 2000 civic si coupe, I can only find it for 96-2000 civic sedans, some people told me it'll fit for my si but I'm not sure.
Cha Yang lmfao it's most likely the same shit
So the stock exhaust got that donut gasket to be more flexible , yet the buddy club not. Is that really necessary? I mean my exhaust would cause it issue if it doesn't have a flex pipe? Thanks :)
There shouldn't be any issues. The stock downpipe has a donut gasket where it can flex and most aftermarket downpipes also have a flex pipe section as well.
Are they not dropping the exhaust for the coupe?
+Alex Carr They might, we'll have to wait and see.
is there anything for civic si coupe 9th gen i have a 2015
There are plenty of system for this model. I have included a link to the system we offer on our site: www.procivic.com/c/ym/2015/civic/exhaust-system.html?ctid=2838
Any plans for a coupe variant? I know there's an axel-back, but want about this one?
+dlytle1990 I hope Buddy Club does make a coupe variant. I imagine if enough of these sedan ones sell, they will make the coupe version!
is there anyway to make the exhaust a bit longer? my exhaust is a bit short and i want the tip to stick out a bit more
+jin lee Not without some welding and cutting
How is the fitment for the slip on? I just installed one on my buddy's civic. The pipe just slipped on and it wasn't a tight fitment. It's also leaking badly.
+Eddie Chau The slip on fitment was very good. We didn't notice any issues at all. If your buddy's is leaking, please contact us if you purchased it here, or give Buddy Club a call.
Can you guys pleas do a video of a 9gen civic EX with hondata
+Bryan Jandres I will put it in a request
+ProCivic.com thank you lol
We will have an impressions video with before and after sound clips soon. Here is the link to the part on our site: www.procivic.com/pages-product_car_part_info/category-70_86/product-968/index.html?+club+racing+spec+ii+exhaust+system
How does it sound ?!?!?!
+Felipe Negron You can hear it at the end of this video: ruclips.net/video/F7VJRasAZfs/видео.html
We will also have a new video up soon with more impressions of the sound.
Can anyone tell me how it doesn't leak when all it has is spring hooks? No bolts & gaskets or welds?? Thanks.
+Dan There is a small amount of leak in it. But this is made for the most straight through flow possible and minimal weight by eliminating flanges. Due to how loud it is, you won't even notice the leak! :)
does turning the rear hanger upside down make the exhaust sit lower
I'm not sure, I would not recommending doing that. You'd have to do some custom work.
this wont cause no check engine light light??? its jus a drop in exhaust basically ???
Since this installs after the catalytic converter and sensors, it should not cause any issues.
PRO Car Studio thanks for the response
Where I can find the heat shield for the bumper, because it's melting
+Kevin Oquendo Viruet There is no heat-shield available. However we put gold reflective tape on ours to keep it from melting. I'll include a link to the product on our site: www.procivic.com/pages-product_car_part_info/category-70_92/product-2034/index.html?+heat+reflective+gold+tape
How did you guys remove the bolts so easily??
+Aaron Ryan We don't drive it a lot and keep it garaged. They weren't very corroded! :)
PRO Civic.com Oh okay! Im trying to do some exhaust upgrade work on my 2013 Civic, any tips for the bolts? Cause they are TOUGH
+Aaron Ryan Soaking the bolts in penetrating oil and a good breaker bar. Air tools are good too if you have access to them.
I plan on reinstalling my stock 9th exhaust, does the muffler flange use a doughnut gasket? I cant remember.
I am not a tech here at Pro Car Studio, just answering old questions. The answer is either yes or no. :) Science. Thanks for checking out our videos; much appreciated !
Yea u can just throw the silencer away now
I have a 2013 5speed manual transmission civic , any exhaust that'll fit my car ? Lol
Yes, please just check out our full exhaust selection here: www.procivic.com/pages-main_pg/category-70_86/engine-exhausts.html
I had invidia in n1 exhaust. It was really loud and drony. I wasn't digging it. Is this some what the same?
+Amanuky Vang This is a rather loud system. We have a teaser on the sound levels of this system as well. ruclips.net/video/AU8pFtnKX8U/видео.html
I bought a used one and came without a gasket can I run it like that is it safe will it cause damage?
+Jesus Pulido A gasket is required. It won't damage the system or the engine, but will not sound very good.
How is this compared to the n1? Is it high pitched? Is it louder?
+andrew starke It is higher pitched, sounds a little more like a race car, but I think the overall loudness is probably similar.
Is this going to fit on my 2016 Honda Civic ...
+krishna bohora It will not. The 2016 is a complete new platform and is not interchangeable with the previous years. If one is developed for it, we will add it to the site.
+PRO Civic.com actually I was trying to say 2015 Honda Civic ex
+krishna bohora This will fit the 2012-2015 si sedan only. It will not fit the Ex.
sound clip?
+kfeems You can hear it at the end of this video: ruclips.net/video/F7VJRasAZfs/видео.html
We will also have a new video up soon with more impressions of the sound.
This exhaust is out of stock?
Please email us at customercare@procivic.com to confirm stock on the system.
no mods on my 15 si yet, do I need a hondata for this ?.and also is this a good place to start for power gains or what other recommendations do you have for power?
+M Jones You will not need a Hondata for this, but will help with adding a bit more power. The intake is also a good place to start, please have a look at our "Tuning article" for ideas on where to start your build: www.procivic.com/pages-honda_civic_tuning/index.html
+ProCivic.com nice, thanks for the help
How about a sound clip?!
+JAGExecutiveServicesInc Here's a teaser video on the sound: ruclips.net/video/AU8pFtnKX8U/видео.html
Quick question I'm going to install an aftermarket downpipe. Do I need to buy stiffer rear motor mounts to prevent rattling and avoid my downpipe hitting against something?
Since the skunk2 is a 3" it's in a tighter space. From what the forums say
+TheNuke95 This is pretty much correct. The larger the exhaust and header, the more of a chance it possibly could it something under hard take-offs / launches. The best recommendation is to wait to see if it is actually a problem, then modify exhaust hangers as needed (stiffer ones) or get stiffer motors mounts. Many customers never experience this issue even with a large exhaust and headers installed
+ProCivic.com I hope not because I rarely launch my car. But I want to be able to enjoy my car with no worries. Anyways thanks procivic!
+ProCivic.com another question are there any specific tools that I'll need when installing the downpipe? Like a breaker bar? I don't want to be halfway into the install and then realize I don't have a certain tool
+TheNuke95 A breaker bar is not required, but some do find it useful. You'll also need a set of metric sockets and wrenches.
any news for availability for 15 si coupes?
+zachary ronan-krugh Sorry, at the moment, we have not heard if or when a coupe version will be available.
What's the diameter size of this exhaust is it 2.36 to 2.5 I want to see how big it would look on my 00 civic
+o twomspeed 70mm Piping and a 101mm tip, so 2.75" piping and a 3.9" tip.
+ProCivic.com thanks
will this fit on my 2012 honda civic ex?
+pokafu karenni This will fit the si 4 door only.
will this exhaust fit on my 13 civic si coupe???
really want a spec 2 but dont know if it wud fit.
+dows lobk This system will unfortunately, not fit the coupe models.
+dows lobk Just go to an exhaust shop and tell them you want a 2.75" straight pipe. Thats all this is
+Edgar Garcia..yea bro imma go streightpipe with a custom muffler..thankks👍
will this exhaust system fit on a 2014 Honda civic lx sedan? (the r18)
+Pianop90x lol
No..the flanges wont line u p
+PlayingtheGrind up
@procivic.com is it normal to have a smell right after installing a new exhaust?????? Because I just put in a new invidia q300 and I smell this odd smell. I can't even explain it
+nikkieXI This is pretty normal. It's usually cause by some of the oil residues from manufacturing.
ok cool. thank you so much i was kinda worried since i put it on myself i thought i did something wrong
How much is this gonna cost u?
+alfredisonfire Please visit the site for pricing: www.procivic.com/pages-product_car_part_info/category-70_86/product-968/index.html?+club+racing+spec+ii+exhaust+system
the Springs make it cheap
Do you have these in stock ?
+QR25DET Please email customercare@procivic.com for stock on the item.
will this fit lx
+Ryan Lester Unfortunately, it will not. This is designed to only fit the si sedan models.
Love this exhaust but it's just to goddam loud haha
Dang, you posted this same comment twice...that is how loud this exhaust is! :) Thanks again.
Go with a Skunk2 instead. You'll thank me later.
Riceif it's not a dedicated track car
You can see some of our track videos on our channel. Here's one good example: ruclips.net/video/dwbrJjGgFUA/видео.html
Come on man the least you could do was let us hear it
All I heard was BAM BAMMMMMMMmMurggggggggmmmmmm. Tone is terrible
you talk too much
how was your fuel consumption? any different?
Unfortunately, we mainly use this for track and performance use. As such, we do not take these figures into account. However, this should not or very minimally effect the fuel consumption.
Would it fit on a civic si coupe 2015
How does it sound ?!?!?!
+Felipe Negron Loud and GREAT!
What is the wing that's installed?
Mugen wing
+Adam Miller We have more info on our site on that wing: www.procivic.com/pages-product_car_part_info/category-71_97/product-2920/index.html?+design+trm+style+spoiler+wing
